What a quaint and wonderful restaurant our friends took us to. Everything was homemade and delicious . The chef came out to make sure we were happy with our meals and our waitress was wonderful. High quality and delicious- highly recommend

Chicken Parm with spaghetti, tortellini and burrata

Wow - a true gem of a restaurant nestled in beautiful Akron. We tried take out of the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, tortellini with peas and prosciutto and the burrata - all were absolutely amazing. Great flavors on all 3 dishes and everything was cooked perfectly. I liked the sauce that came with the burrata - I believe it was egg plant, capers and olives in oil - perfect to dip bread in! We will 100% be coming back...and I will order my toddler her own spaghetti since she ate most of mine! Lol

While I've never heard of this restaurant in Akron NY, when my in-laws decided to eat out in their first restaurant in over a year, they selected this quiet place with amazing food because of their past experience. They reported a much smaller menu than in pre-Covid times, but the quality of the food and friendly service still delivered a great experience. Our waiter for the evening quickly apologized for the delay in greeting us and taking drink orders (wine and beer only, no liquor available), and continued his courteous service the entire evening. We started with the burrata with a delicious eggplant accompaniment. Only complaint is burrata wasn't as "melty" as many I have had from other restaurants. Bread served was crusty and fresh. Although one member of our party was delayed 30 minutes past our arrival, our steady waiter wasn't bothered, took the table's order and had the food delivered hot after the last guest arrived and had his drink delivered. Great timing!! Everything here is homemade and really delicious!! Loved my arugula covered chicken Milanese and the guys raved about the lasagna and especially the sauce that generously covered it. Loved this night out with Covid requirements being met throughout. The 3 person waitstaff were clearly busy but the patrons were well cared for.

The best Italian food this side of the Atlantic. If you're not up to the 12 hour flight to Roma... this is your best bet.

This one was suggested by a friend and It did not disappoint. My husband was working a job out in Lockport so it was right down the road. At first glance it doesnt look like much, but once inside its gorgeous. The lights were dimmed just right and the ambiance Was emaculant. It turned out this was a romantic little hole in the wall with real food. Im the type of person who is very particular with food, especially these days where we really dont know whats real and whats not. This was truly real food with a real Italian chefs touch. Its the best food ive had in a long time. I would and will be suggesting this resturant to my friends and family, and we sure will be back very soon! Its very family friendly. The owner even introduced himself to us and the service was wonderful. Such a delightful little place

It was a very generous portion, more than enough for the 2 of us. The calamari was prepared perfectly with just the right amount of coating. This was followed by a nice side salad. I then ordered the crab cakes which were loaded with tasty crab. My husband got the veal parm. Then for dessert we shared a peanut butter pie. All this was enjoyed with a nice bottle of wine. Excellent food and service. Though I did think the courses came out too quick, before we were done with the previous course. Otherwise it was an enjoyable meal. 2025-65

Unfortunately the waitress belonged in a diner, she was not very attentive, ordered the special and was served with one plate perfectly displayed and the other sloppy. At $60 a plate it should have been fixed prior to arriving to our table. Wait staff traffic was very distracting going from one room to another, I think their up to catering 3 rooms (too much) and loosing sight of the fine dining experience that we so loved when we found this place. We will definitely take a break from making a future reservation with hopes management really takes a look at the less than positive reviews of this establishment before it really goes down hill.

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!
