lovely customer service, cute decor, and AMAZING fritters!!! this is a must-visit for orange beach

    Two humungous apple fritters.

My sweet tooth hit and the journey began. This hidden gem was pleasant, welcoming, and variety filled, but I came on a mission and that consisted of finding the best apple fritter in the area. Not only did they have apple fritters, but they were humungous! And the best part? Delicious! It will literally fill you up as a meal or it could take you a couple days (guilty). Still worth it. The bonus? They also make GLAZED croissants. What? YES! By the time I arrived which was around 2pm, they only had one left..yes, I bought it. (Sorry again to the lady behind me!) it was SO good. The first time I ever tried a glazed croissant and I'm a croissant lover. This thing was airy, light, and as rich as you could think covered in a thin sugary glaze. Other than that, highly recommend and plan to go back which is why I focused on two items. Ice cream sandwiches, you're next.

Nice little family owned donut shop in Orange Beach near Publix. Service was quick and they had a variety of different, creative donuts to choose from. They have boba but I was surprised to see that they don't have coffee. A quick pitstop at Starbucks around the corner solved that though. Everything was delicious and the HUGE Apple Fritter was particularly good. I recommend stopping in at least once if you are in town.

Woke up to a rainy morning, so it was time for a donut run! The donuts are large, fresh, and delicious with lots of great flavor options. We ate some right away, but saved some for later. Even the next morning, the donuts were still delicious and soft. I would highly recommend!

The BEST little shop ever! You can not find friendlier or better service anywhere. The employees were so nice! Our donuts were all delicious! My family loved them so much they grabbed them up fast and I was only able to grab a quick pic during the chaos. I highly recommend City Donut!

HOLY.COW. We walked in and immediately were met with a warm greeting from the woman behind the counter. We got a dozen assorted doughnuts , and they were all amazing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

Delicious. Ended up getting donuts twice on a weekend trip they were so good! Definitely get these donuts on your weekend trip. Also, on our second time the employee gave us a few extra because she said the donuts were a little smaller than they normally like. It was so kind, even though they looked normal size for us!

The staff were all helpful and friendly. There was someone playing live music at certain times of the day. The room was clean and had a simple but nice setup. The shower had great water temperature and pressure. We had an ocean view room which was worth the extra cost. Waking up to the beach every morning was so satisfying. Reading on the balcony while listening to the ocean sounds and watching the waves was everything that I needed. The hotel has beach towels that are easily checked out through a machine. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available first come first serve to hotel guests which is very convenient. There was a heated outdoor pool, a volleyball net and a few games inside. We ate all of our meals at the hotel. We ate at the grab and go food spot. I ordered the feta and spinach croissant, a chocolate chip scone and a cappuccino. We also ate dinner at the latitude 30. I ordered a ceasar salad and calamari. For breakfast at latitude 30, I ordered the French toast dish that comes bacon and I ordered a side of eggs. We also ate at the fine dining restaurant onsite where I ordered the seared scallops dish and the vanilla crème brûlée. All of the meals that we ate at the hotel were very tasty. The restaurant staff were all kind and the utensils were spotless. I believe food may have also been served at the bar near the pool, but I didn't try any food from there during my visit. I really had an enjoyable time at this hotel and I plan to return in the future.

Live music every day by the pool was awesome! And talented performers! The beach itself is right behind the resort and has the softest sand. Wanted was rough but we were still able to get in a slash around and jump some waves. The property was recently purchased by new owners after being owned by sand owner who opened it in 1987, which is impressive. Mervin in the restaurant was kind and friendly and been there 12 years. Glinda in the restaurant was the SWEETEST lady there. She maker the omelettes. (Get the omelettes!! Yum!) John and Greg are great pool side bar tenders. The gentleman at the lobby bar was also friendly and attentive, we didn't catch his name. The list of things we wished were different is short. Could have used speakers playing music during the times at the pool when there wasn't live music. Wait times in the restaurant were long. (Food was hit or miss...not horrible but mostly unremarkable... However the spinach dip at the casual restaurant is off the charts and the wagyu steak at Voyagers is incredible!!) We cannot say enough about the marvelous staff. We will definitely be back! We wish them luck in this transition.

The egg muffin contains cheese, onion and peppers. Make sure to ask for some jelly, it came in its own little plastic cup which makes me believe it is either homemade or local. Love that pimento cheese ball appetizer with that blueberry pepper jelly! For lunch, I had the meat and three. It was all good, especially the collard greens. SERVICE THIS WAS MAYBE SOME OF THE BEST SERVICE I HAD THE WHOLE TIME I WAS IN ORANGE BEACH THIS WEEKEND. OUR SERVER WAS SO AMAZING. I HATE THAT I CAN'T REMEMBER HER NAME, BUT SHE WAS ON TOP OF IT AND SUPER DELIGHTFUL. DRINKS The bar area looked really nice. Most of my table had iced tea which everybody enjoyed. It was refreshing to see that it wasn't the usual cake like kind, plus not the ultra sweet kind either. More bread like with a hint of sweetness. Delicious.
