I would give them a 4.5 :) the interior is beautifully designed, the food was amazing 5/5: the chicken was so tender, all the dishes were very flavorful and balanced. The chai (not pictured) was also very delicious stays heated the whole time. One thing to keep in mind is that ordering takes place on a self-service kiosk when you enter and plates and utensils are self serve as well but after that staff are available if you have any questions or need anything else. Personally going to a few tables nad checking on them. Very unprofessional. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 mins for our food and it came in parts. Yet another new Indian food place! First thing I want to say is the inside is beautiful and I regret not dining in but will on my next visit. It's got a cozy ambiance with a cute deco design that screams authentic Indian food. Service was very nice and we were offered tea while we waited for our takeout. It was tasty and will be replacing my lassi with this tea from now on. I would seriously drive here just for the tea actually lol. Lastly food lived up to the visually appealing setup of the place. Best samosa I've had in a while. Crunchy on the outside while soft on the inside and not overly stuffed, which is how I like it. The kabob was good, but my favorite was the cheese naan and vegetable. I was worried when I saw it was greens but they were flavorful and beautifully spiced. Trust me, get the cheese naan and put some of those greens on top and bite, delicious. I was stoked to find out a new Indian restaurant had opened up in Carson not to mention a few minutes from my residence so I had to go give it a try. I have lived in LA since 2009 and now for 16 years have been on the hunt for great Indian food. Indian restaurants are a dime a dozen in Southern California but GREAT Indian food is rare and hard to find. I've been to numerous places across the city hyped up by social media (like Mayura) and have been let down every single time. Having said that this is the BEST INDIAN FOOD that I've had in all of the South Bay Area. The only places I've been to that are better have been Michelin starred or more higher end (expensive) establishments across Los Angeles. I placed an order for takeout and the first thing we noticed when we walked in is the decor. The entire restaurant is vibrant and full of color and set up to look like a tea stand or Dhaba. When we walked in our food wasn't ready yet so they offered us complimentary tea while we waited. The tea was fantastic and even came with a little appetizer type snack of masala seasoned crisps. I left the waitress a generous tip for the tea and excellent service. I ordered: Butter Chicken - Fantastic! A problem with most Indian restaurants is the food is extremely bland with minimal spice and flavor. This curry was made authentic to the original dish. Samosas - Came with two dipping sauce, the typical green chutney but also with another red chutney that was pretty good. Normally it's given with tamarind sauce but the other sauce was still good and the potatoes inside were also seasoned. Jalapeño cheese naan - Now this is obviously not an authentic Indian item but it caught my eye and I had to order it. Imagine if a jalapeño popper and garlic naan had a spicy and cheesy baby. Needless to say I will be returning to try the other menu items like the chicken biryani that also looked good. Hopefully this hidden gem in Carson lasts but they have me as a regular for sure. read more

The restaurant has cute decor and some cultural seating arrangements that made the dining experience feel authentic and inviting. The food was solid across the board. Finally this place opened back up! This is my favorite Indian in SoCal and probably the most unique I've ever experienced. The atmosphere is different as soon as you walk in with beautiful, colorful and traditional interior decor. The food portions were large, 1 curry can feed 2 people. The food is authentic and not too spicy like some places. Service is also wonderful. They give complimentary tea before and after the meal. I believe it's a family owned restaurant and they also make you feel like family while your their, very welcoming. It will be the only Indian spot I go to in LA area. First time at Cloud Naan and I will absolutely be coming back. They have great food, fantastic ambience, excellent service, and fun games! Very convenient in that you can order at a kiosk as soon as you enter and sit wherever you like. They also have a game of carrom available for you to play! For food, we had the butter chicken, chicken tikka, chicken karahi, chapli kabob, naan, and chai. Everything is so well done and the owner is very kind.
