We were really excited to come here after seeing the reviews and craving food with South Asian flavors. The food itself is definitely carrying the review. Food: 5/5. Absolutely delicious butter chicken, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. They are not shy with the spices--each dish was PACKED with flavor. The butter chicken has just the right amount kick, the chicken was delicious and tender, and was a huge portion. The naan was the perfect texture, large serving, and wonderfully buttery. The chicken tikka was pretty spicy, but tolerable, and tender as can be. The servicing size of this specifically I thought was a little small for the price, but we accidentally ordered so much food that it didn't matter lol. Mango lassi was a delicious sweet pairing to counter the heat. Excellent consistency, super refreshing. We came on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. There were 2-3 parties aside from us. I didn't really enjoy ordering from the kiosk, I prefer speaking to a server about the food and getting their insight on certain things. You do have to pay before you get the food, and if you're including a tip you add that before ever getting served (if paying my card). Felt a little backwards. Service: 3/5 and that's being generous. I will give grace because it looked like there was only one person serving the whole restaurant. But silverware and plates weren't set (eventually they brought us some in a stack and we had to distribute it to ourselves), we had to grab our own drinks from the fridge (they didn't tell us, so we sat there for 20 min before realizing). And we weren't checked on except for when they brought something out. And the food, although outstanding, took about 40 min to arrive the table. That's a long time for any restaurant. I don't know how many chefs there were, maybe they were swamped with takeout but there was only a couple other people in the restaurant. Maybe it was just an off day. Decor: Outside looks rough, but inside is nicely decorated. A hidden gem as some say. NO air conditioning though, he warned. It was pretty warm but they had fans going so we tolerated it, but barely. All in all, give it a shot if you want some delicious food! Would come back again, for sure. The food itself was worth it. Great meal and plenty left over for later!

Cloud Naan was a 10/10 experience! It was our first time trying Pakistani cuisine and this was the perfect place to get our introduction. The interior is decorated in such a fun and inviting way, with little touches of outdoor Pakistani design. My favorite were the colorful umbrellas on the ceiling and little wicker stools around the restaurant When you arrive, you can order from their digital kiosk for dine in and take away My aunt and I got their signature Pakistani dishes beef haleem and chicken karahi...the latter being our favorite. And we didn't skip out on the carbs...we ordered garlic naan, beef naan, plain naan and paratha. All we're stellar The staff is extremely lovely! The owner came up to every table to welcome us and our server Tanya was so kind and attentive We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes soon!

Delicious and quick, friendly service! Butter chicken was tender and juicy, and the garlic naan was perfect. Excellent experience.

The Vibe: A colorful, fast-casual hidden gem with unique seating options, including platforms for sitting cross-legged. Easy side street parking and the service was quick since it's a self order kiosk then they bring the food out to you The Standouts: Massive portions for all the dishes. The Chicken Tikka and Naan are fantastic. The Biryani is enough for two meals. Elite Tips: The staff is incredibly kind; they even brought out free appetizers while we waited. Expect a 15-20 minute wait for food because everything is fresh.

I have been seeing Cloud Naan on my Yelp whenever i''m looking for somewhere local to eat and it caught my eye because i've never seen it before. I came for dinner and wow!! Everything was so yummy. I also got a Mango Lassi to top it off :) You order at the self-order kiosk, grab a table, and they bring the food out to you. The staff is so sweet and checks up on you to see how you are liking the food. I highly recommend coming to try Cloud Naan if you're in Carson or nearby!

Today I had lunch at this hidden gem in Carson. It's a Pakistani restaurant specializing in BBQ. I had the mutton combo which came with a huge naan bread and salad, and some samosas. The food was delicious and had a little spicy kick. The naan was delicious as were the samosas. It's nothing fancy and there was ample seating in a colorfully decorated restaurant. I think they mainly have a lot of take out and deliveries as I was dining alone at lunchtime. I would love it if they ever had a buffet which would introduce people to their various menu items or a combination with different offerings. The service was friendly and they refilled my chai tea which was complimentary. I'll be back to try the other barbecue items.

We were looking for something different to eat and came across a review of Cloud Naan. We decided to try it and we're we blown away. Everything was delicious!!! The food was perfectly seasoned with plenty of heat. The Butter Chicken was so good!! And the BBQ!! Yep!!!To calm the heat a delicious Mango lassi was served. The Garlic naan was huge and delicious and let's not forget the sauces. This place is a must.If you're in Carson, come try some Pakistani food. We're doing fine on Cloud Naan!!!! Oh by the way that picture was after we devoured almost everything!!!

Called to place an order for carry out and they played in my face. Butter chicken should have been $20 each but they charged me almost $28 per !!! AND WHAT IS THAT SERVICE CHARGE, I literally picked up my own food. I used to come all the time but I'm never coming back, robbed me in broad daylight. So sad. Update: The owner reached out to me privately to rectify the situation. He apologized and made it right; I was inappropriately charged. I've updated my review based off his timely response. I will be back because the food is amazing and service is always great. Final update when I return !!

Interior is pretty and the server is nice :) The Chicken biryani is pretty good. It's a little bit pricier compared to other Indian food places but I totally recommend if you want to splurge a little for delicious food and a great aesthetic.

Cloud Naan was a spot I heard about from a coworker, so a few of us decided to check it out for lunch and it did not disappoint. We ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice, and the portions were huge. Honestly, two orders were enough to feed our group of seven. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and pairing it with the garlic naan made it even better. The naan was so good that it disappeared fast -- definitely recommend getting at least one per person if you're a fan. Ordering was simple through a kiosk, and the food was brought out to our table pretty quickly. The service stood out too, the staff was really friendly and even offered us chai while we waited, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel more welcoming. The ambiance was great as well. The space is nicely decorated and has a warm, inviting feel that makes it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. Overall, this is a great lunch spot, especially for groups since the portions are so generous. I'd definitely come back again.

For drinks I had the cucumber mint lemonade. It's their newest drink. So delicious! It's cold, refreshing, and delivers a burst of flavor in your mouth. A must try! For food I had the chicken tikka masala (mild), half rice, and garlic naan. They also give you a small side salad. The garlic naan was the best I've ever had. So moist and not burnt like a lot of other places. You can easily pull it apart with your fingers as it screams, "eat me! eat me!", with delight. The chicken tikka masala's flavor was amazing! I like to try things mild first to see how they taste. Some places serve bland food and mask it with spiciness. Not here. The flavor is all there. Next time I think I'm going to adventure on the wild side and try the medium and then possibly the spicy. The included salad was simple yet so satisfying. The dressing is definitely unique and packs a punch with the spice level but... I like it. *wink* *wink* hahhaa. The rice was perfection. I hate it when it's not cooked enough and too mushy or overcooked and hard. Originally I was going to eat half tonight and then the other half tomorrow but... I know myself. I would just go to bed, wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it, then not be able to go back to sleep until I finished the rest because it would keep calling my name from the kitchen. Hahahaha. I didnt get to see the inside because I got it to go but I'll let you guys know in an update. The staff there is great and they seem like a very nice family. As I've always said, I'm a huge supporter of family businesses. I'm soooo happy I gave this place a shot. I am not only coming back, I'm definitely going to have them cater some of my parties. Enjoy!

They're thick, they're flavorful, they hit you with the right spice. Normal spice is a white man's medium high so they got their base down which is more than half the battle. They cook the Paneer just right. And really enjoyed the Bartha! That The not so good: the chicken is way overcooked, I don't know if it's breast or thigh, but it definitely tasted like a dried out breast. Possibly using the tandoori and just dropping it into the gravy, but a perfectly cooked chicken thigh would take the chicken tikka masala to the moon. Second, the Paneer portion size was a joke. Maybe six cubes in the whole deal. Needs to be at least double. I'm ready to try again you gotta protect your meats!

I had just finished buckling my child into the high chair when my order was delivered to my table! They are super fast here! The super friendly waiter delivered my meal, and I dug in. The gyro was stuffed with meat! This is a huge deal, since a lot of places skimp and don't give enough. So extra points to Al Hamra for a job well done. The flavor of the meat was juicy and well seasoned, super delish! The hummus and pita was good, although I usually add a bit of spices to my hummus so this one was a little plainer than I'm used to. Either way, it was a nice addition to the meal. The grand finale were the desserts! I usually go for baklava, but decided to try the knafeh, a layered cheese dessert with syrup and pistachios. Get the knafeh! The warm cheese and syrup were so delicious and made for the perfect ending to a good meal! Honestly, the highlight for me was the warm pita served with garlic mayo, so much better than the cold or room-temperature pitas you often get at otherMediterranean spots. We also shared dessert, the kulfi cheesecake, and left completely stuffed. Al Hamra is a cozy family-run restaurant with just a few tables, but the food makes it well worth it. Thankfully, I was able to find parallel parking right in front of this restaurant. Off to a great start! While entering, I loved seeing their homely Home Screen door and their extended patio area. Once you go inside, you will notice how much more lighting this place has as opposed to other Indian places. Their booth architecture was pretty cool and comfy as well. I went during their lunch buffet that others have told me about. Honestly, I kind of expected a little MORE variety for the amount they charge. They randomly have a small barrel jug of tomato soup, and an area just for their naan bread, which is cool; BUT their naan bread is kind of different from the traditional ones that usually have chopped up garlic and coriander on it. Angara's naan bread doesn't have any of that on their naan; which was disappointing. I ended up trying their Tikka Masala, grilled chicken, mixed rice, etc.. Usually in other spots, I get other stuff like samosas, potatoes, and other cool different creative stuff to choose from. Angara has pretty much your basic, standard choices. I was like mehhh. Ate their food and it was just OK. Not bad, just ok. I mean I dig that it doesn't taste too salty, but I wanted more taste. The lady who served us was really nice and I loved her great customer service. Their fried vegetables weren't bad, along with their DIY desserts filled with fruit choices and mango puree. In the end, this place has its own kind of aura and flavors; which makes it a cool alternative to those who actually love going here consistently. I'm just a bigger fan of other Indian restaurants; no disrespect to Angara. To everyone who loves eating here; that's awesome for you! To each their own!
