    Strawberry soufflé pancakes
    Cindy F.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute cozy mom and pop cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is seating for about 9 people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is in the Blackfield Building across Inspiration Furniture. The menu mostly features teas, bubble drinks and smoothies. But, today we were looking for breakfast and when we saw some of the pictures on yelp, we decided to give it a go. We ordered the strawberry soufflé pancakes, Ube bubble waffle, summer rolls, a black iced coffee, and a lychee tea with rainbow jelly. Normally, I don't care for pancakes, cause I feel so tired after I enjoying them, but, today was different. The strawberry soufflé pancakes were light and a strawberry sauce was not overwhelming. We really enjoyed it and wiped the sauce, clean off the plate The Ube bubble waffle was fun to eat, and I love the fact that they have the sauce on the side so you can dip as you go. What I especially loved was the little crunch around the edges. Hubby loved the black iced coffee which he said was bold in flavor. My lychee iced tea was a little sweet for my taste, but you didn't have to twist my arm to finish it all. Overall service was friendly and the young lady at the cash register was more than happy to help us with suggestions. The reason for the 4 star rating is because the parking in the building is $3 for any portion of an hour. Will be back to try another flavor of soufflé pancakes and their pork dumplings!

Had a yummy breakfast here. It's a small cafe with only three tables, but they make the infamous soufflé pancakes and Vietnamese coffee. One pancake wasn't quite done but the rest were amazing. I would suggest giving them a try for something you can't always find in the US.

We came here for a light breakfast and ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Strawberry Pancakes! Both were very light and yummy. The staff were very nice and were very attentive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe of the cafe is great, but seating looked limited, so we got take out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great experience, but be prepared to spend a little bit.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a very small place. Clean with minimal sitting- two tables one with four chairs and close to this another with two chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can always take-out. The place is run by a nice young couple. I wanted to replicate my delightful Japanese savory experience, soft and savory full of berries, I was not impressed. But, my companions did enjoyed the experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful and sweet little cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Across from Inspiration Furniture store on Kapiolani Boulevard. There is parking within the building. The limited menu featured cute pancake dishes to creative cakes. Since it is a cafe, there isn't much of a big meal menu for meat nor much vegetarian options. Lots of cute desserts or brunch type of dishes. I arrived during lunchtime at 12 pm and they promptly took my order. My pancake dish and cold coffee drink was served within 20 minutes. Very filling and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bright and clean with a small bar seating and counter and 2 round tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Always loved Cloud Nine and the new location is quaint and adorable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Aunty always works hard, and always happy to see her. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior has cute colorful wall art and there are some small indoor seating areas where you can enjoy your food/drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back! If you want noodles then please visit Ten Seconds which is at Pearlridge! This is their sister location. Some people walked in thinking Ten Seconds was Cloud Nine :o

I found out on IG that this cafe was known for their soufflé pancakes, so I decided to stop by on our last day in Hawaii. It has been years since I've had soufflé and I remember not being that impressed with it. I believe a good soufflé pancake must be fluffy and can hold its shape, especially after you cut into it. I decided on the Matcha Cream w/ Azuki Bean and it was quite flavorful. Not only was the matcha not overpowering, the soufflé was extremely soft and fluffy. Very impressed with the quality and that the matcha was not super sweet. The red beans paired well with this dish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The business itself is very small with limited seats available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is very clean and was not busy when we came on a Thursday at 8:30am.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are only opened Thursday-Sunday between the hours of 8:30am-1:30pm. Street parking is available nearby.

Here for the first time.... Shucks they have a 10% off. I already paid Small little shop with a couple tables. Service is amazing and friendly.!! So many choices and so good!!! Soufflé sunrise with spam, egg & cheese with a salad, also tried the dried pork sandwich. The bread is so fluffy and tasty. We also had the original butter and maple syrup soufflé. Must try.!!! And the Dalgona caramel. We must come back again!!

Came here on a Monday night after dinner at Gyukaku at around 6 PM. Service was prompt and even though it's a tiny seating area, my sister and I wanted to eat the soufflé pancakes fresh! These pancakes taste like yummy little clouds and the fresh strawberries with strawberry cream was perfect because it wasn't overly sweet! Definitely stop by if you're in the are!

There are not too many places that have fluffy pancakes, sometimes referred to as souffle pancakes, and also known as Japanese pancakes to some. This was the best place that we could find in Honolulu area and was walkable from Waikiki. They souffle pancakes were beautifully presented and had great flavor.

First time trying a soufflé, it was really good! Service was fast, food and drinks came out in less than 5 minutes. The soufflé was a bit pricey but I think it was worth it for my first time trying. It's really fluffy and isn't overly sweet, I would come again to try the other flavors.

This is my favorite place for soufflé pancakes! (I think they make the best ones.) This time I had the #6 Strawberry Cream, and the cream tasted like fresh ripe strawberries! Their soufflé pancakes and cream are perfectly balanced: light fluffy pancakes that still have substance or body to them, and flavorful light cream that isn't too sweet. And they have 8 flavors to choose from; more variety than other places I've seen. Service is always good and the place has a cute upbeat atmosphere.

I have been really wanting to try these soufflé pancakes and finally found some in Honolulu. I went with a friend and we both ordered the cookies and cream option. Sadly, we were both disappointed. The actual pancake had zero flavor. And the primary chocolate cream sauce covering it was super sweet, but offered very little flavor, too. The best parts were the fudge and oreos on top...

The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. They have ice cream, cakes, and other desserts Also tip: if you are ordering a malasada also order a coffee or a matcha drink to go with it. The cinnamon sugar from the malasada just matches so perfectly with a drink this restaurant is also a nice place for walking! There's lot of stores and restaurants to walk around! I'm trying to remember but I think there was a book off that was not too far from here! If you either drive or maybe walk. Service: staff was super helpful and friendly while I was there. I was having an issue with my online order because my phone was being glitchy and they were so nice in helping :) Also wanted to note their branding is so cute!! They even sell merch items too

However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. FOOD - 4 stars... the malasadas were good, but that ube dessert was next level AMBIANCE - 4 stars...really a takeout operation with a lot of temptations SERVICE - 4 stars...very calm and orderly TOTAL - 4 stars...yet another spot for sweet Hawaiian decadence RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Hubs had to fast from 6 am for his 2 pm surgery so I thought he would probably be starving and would enjoy a delectable salt and butter roll from here. At $4.50 a piece I consider this a luxury for us. I found a close stall in the parking structure. A very cheerful polite male employee took my order. I had seen two occupied tables as I walked into the shop. Both had matcha drinks. Why not? I asked the young man assisting me, what's the best matcha drink? He said his favorite was banana matcha with extra banana foam. Okay I'll try it. He repeated it to the cashier. So popular there was a wait for beverages to be prepared. Soon enough mine was ready. I think Doc would enjoy this drink. This shop is a working bakery. Many yummy pastries displayed. Menu is posted high up above to choose from. Rather tiny shop with room for customers to stand in line to order and wait for drinks. Clean, busy with a few tables and chairs outside but pretty much in direct sun.
