I love this spot. They are always friendly and helpful and they have a clean and bright dining area. I am obsessed with their boneless wings and being from Buffalo, that is a big complement! I love the flavor of their traditional death sauce. It is so flavorful and with a nice amount of heat. I like it hot so proceed with caution! The amount is always plentiful and the quality and consistency of the chicken is perfect. Hope to do the 911 wing challenge someday soon!!

This experience was interesting. The chicken itself was five stars. I went with bbq and my husband went with buffalo. The sauce was tangy and flavorful and the chicken was all white meat and extremely fresh. We also ordered mozz sticks which were a hit. Perfectly golden fried on the outside with an ooey gooey cheesy center. There were just some ordering snafus. We ordered regular wings and were sent (and charged more) for boneless buffalo wings. Both orders of 'boneless wings' were also not boneless wings at all, and were massive tenders. I'm not sure if that's how their boneless wings are served. If so, I wonder what the tenders look like. These were so large that I could've definitely gotten away with ordering less. The menu is a little confusing, so next time I might need to clarify if I order over the phone. Hopefully we also receive the correct order next time too. Despite some confusion, the chicken was still great and I would for sure order again.

It doesn't get better than Cluck-U for a greasy late night meal! I ordered through the website and originally it said it would take 30 minutes for the order. They got it to me in about half of that. The chicken sandwich was ok. I was a little surprised about the price of a side of corn. It was on the high side. The staff answered all of my questions. It's not gourmet but it gets the job done.

Solid, fast and affordable fast-food restaurant. Cluck-U is a decent option in the area if you are craving fried chicken. They have all things fried chicken-pieces, wings, and tenders. The price of the chicken is also very fair because you can easily fill one person up for less than 10 bucks easily. While not exactly gourmet quality or anything mind blowing, they do what they do pretty well. I had the 2 piece dark meat combo- a leg, a thigh and cornbread for a little less than 6 bucks. They also have loads of other things on their menu, ranging from sandwiches, fries, fried mushrooms, and even salads. I had the fried mushrooms with my meal and they were pretty rubbery and very greasy. I would definitely not recommend these. They were pretty fast with my order- I called and within 10-15 minutes it was ready. I was also pretty happy with their COVID precautions- everyone was wearing a mask and the store was clean from what I could tell.

Back in business, now serving wings ribs & fries on South Street! About as many places to sit inside as before, which means not very many, about half a dozen tables. No sidewalk tables and street parking only now. They had some staff shortages so my takeout order took a while, but stickers are free. I tried the original chicken sandwich for just $6, lettuce tomato and a big piece of fried chicken on a fresh soft Kaiser roll, a large & outstanding lunch! My dining companion chose breast bites aka boneless wings in bbq sauce, yummy. Spud fries are good too. Blue cheese dip costs $.50 extra. Vegetarian rating: 2 stars, you can get fried mushrooms, fried onion rings, fried potatoes or a salad. Also sweet potato pie for dessert is veg!

The Morristown location sits right on South Street across from the Green. It gets very busy for breakfast/brunch but they are also open for lunch and dinner. I really enjoy their all-day brunch menu. During my most recent visit, I ordered the Goddess salad which was delicious. I am obsessed with the dressing paired with this salad. It was extremely light, creamy, and perfect for summer. The Fried Pickles were also breaded nicely and the Spinach Artichoke Dip was super creamy. There is a decent amount of seating available inside and a few tables for outdoor dining. I also decided to order the chipotle bacon burger this time as my main. It was a tad too salty and lacked the chipotle sauciness for me. The sweet potatoes waffle fries was yummy. Maybe next time I'll just go with the Brie Burger. Overall the service was quick and super nice. Notable mentions are when I asked for barbecue sauce on the side and since there were two kinds, the waitress gave me one of each. I would definitely come back or visit another branch.

The space on the first floor is divided into a lively bar area with plenty of TVs and a slightly quieter main dining room with comfortable booths and tables. There is also seating on an outdoor terrace on the second floor and a few tables in front of the restaurant on South Street if you're up for dining al fresco. It's a terrific option in Morristown that's sophisticated enough for a date on the outdoor terrace when the weather cooperates or a pre-theater meal in the dining room, yet casual enough for beers and appetizers while watching a game in the bar area. The menu captures the essence of modern American comfort food. Whether you're grabbing the Stirling Burger ($18) -- made from a tasty short rib and brisket blend -- or splurging on the Grilled New York Strip ($48) topped with crabmeat fries, the quality is evident. They are also great with dietary restrictions. Between the various poultry, fish, and vegetarian options on the menu and the kitchen's willingness to make moderate accommodations in any other dish, there's something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. We recently celebrated my niece's 21st birthday here, and our server made it memorable by honoring her milestone birthday by playfully asking for her ID EVERY SINGLE TIME she ordered a drink. It became a running joke for the night and made the occasion feel extra special. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars for me is that both sides of the main floor can get pretty loud when it's packed and the prices are a bit on the higher side for casual dining. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Stirling Tavern offers a Happy Hour Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm, which features specials on certain cocktails, wines, beers, and light snacks. You must be seated at the bar to take advantage of the promotional pricing. If you enjoy a good Old Fashioned, try the JB ($10), made with Four Roses bourbon, blood orange amaro, orange & angostura bitters. PRO TIP #2: Stirling Tavern does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on South Street or Maple Avenue. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, paid parking is also available in the Morristown Parking Authority Lot #8 (@ 10 Franklin Street) and Vail Parking Area (@ 110 South Street). FREE on-street parking is located on MacCulloch Avenue, just two blocks from Stirling Tavern.

Hardly anyone there so the bartender comes over to take the order despite a bunch of employees standing around and chatting. I would rather have a dedicated waiter / waitress. I see another group of employees all seated at a booth all talking. Makes no sense. We ordered but the Apps and the main course came out all at once before we even got our drinks. Not a big deal. One of my kids wanted some salt for her mac & cheese. Bartender never came back to ask how everything came out. Multiple people loafing around and waking past but I couldn't get anyone's attention for the salt. I asked someone who said we aren't his table and kept walking. I saw this guy up by the bar - collared shirt - looked like a manager. I waved at him and he looked at me and just shook his head and went back to talking to some other bar back.    I was beyond pissed and finally the older manager lady happened to walk by. I said who is that guy in the collared shirt - oh he works here but hasn't started his shift yet. Yea well I just wanted the salt shaker if he bothered to take 2 seconds and see. Or he could have gotten someone else's attention but he didn't, he just blew me off. But the Manager made no attempt to really apologize or ask what she could do. Then our drinks are empty for awhile- none came by to see if we wanted another round. Eventually I'm waving at the bartender who finally comes over and I ask for a 2nd round. Then he forgets about making them and spends 15 mins talking with other employees and doing whatever before I wave at him again. He gives me the nod and The drinks finally come but no limes like the previous round. Honestly I was done - might have stayed longer but with our kids it was time to go. Finally I've included a photo of our view of these diligent employees that are obviously too busy to worry about service or the perception of how things look from a customers point of view. The food wasn't bad but honestly the experience wasn't great. We won't be back.
