Another awesome experience at CM Chicken! We dined in on 10/1/23 and we had one of their best host, Jade! Talk about exemplary customer service, Jade was efficient, friendly and attentive. He was a one man show while we were there but he gave us his 100% attention. We got our food in a timely manner, it was fresh and delicious as always. We love the wings, they are so moist and juicy. They are cooked to perfection! They also have combos which are great deals. 10 pieces of wings any flavor with fries and salad for about $21. Such a great deal! We are definitely regulars here! Hi, I'd like to share my experience from our visit yesterday. My boyfriend and I usually enjoy dining at this place, we're big fans of the food, especially the chicken, and we appreciate the deals they offer from Monday to Wednesday. However, this most recent visit was disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, and there were only two of us, yet no one assisted us with ordering on the tablet. We waited over 20 minutes for our food to arrive, and even when we tried to order a Coke through the tablet, it showed as out of stock with no other non-alcoholic options available. but then when i came to ask for soda, they have coke in stock. I had to go back and forth to the counter multiple times just to order a drink and to follow up on our food. It was surprising to experience this level of service, especially since we usually have good experiences when we dine here. WOW I am thoroughly impressed and amazed. I ordered through grub hub delivery and the flavor taste everything was astounding. The flavors!!!! So GOOD. My favorite was the snow onion fried chicken, I rally can't explain how tender juicy and flavorful that combo was. The gizzard was really well prepared too- extremely spicy. It looked like it was fried then wok fried in the spicy sauce with an added barbecue flavor. Well done. Soy garlic with green onions was good but least flavorful in my opinion but honestly still really good!! I would order this exact same thing all over again!! A very slight kick of heat Red hot pepper: gochujang base and does pack some heat. Get it with the snow onion. The creamy sauce lowers the heat and the crisp raw onions add some freshness. The service was A++++. Our server realized it was our 1st time and right away told us what are the house specials. He made sure we knew what was in each order. We asked about drinks and he was ready with all the beers on draft and even let us take a sample of a beer my partner was not familiar with. We ended up ordering the red hot spicy chicken. What can I say-- I've become a regular here. The first time we came by, we ordered the lemon spring onion and the spicy garlic chicken. For our next few visits we would end up ordering the garlic soy chicken, the deep fried calamari and the fries. Honestly, I would say the spicy garlic chicken was my favourite, but I think my spice game has fallen, so they were too spicy for me :((((((((((((( my second favourite would have to be the garlic soy glaze because it's super flavourful and just finger-lickin good. The lemon spring onion was alright for me, but it did end up being my person's favourite! The chicken comes with a coleslaw salad and a side of pickled radishes (very typical for a Korean fried chicken joint!). As one of the Yelpers has stated, their pickled radishes are actually really good; they have a nice crunch to them and are balanced in sweetness and vinegary-ness. The service here is very consistent and attentive. The servers know the menu quite well, and if you need some assistance picking out the flavours or anything of that sort, they will be there to guide you. I've been here before but this time brought a friend. Ordered the Tender Lunch Special with curry chicken. The tenders tasted good but they were almost cold...the curry had a little bit of heat but it was sweet and I would have preferred a more savory flavor. I asked for well done fries and as you can see in my photo they're pale and also almost cold. The service was okay; the fellow behind the register was very helpful in explaining how it all works to my guest, but again, the fries.... The dining room is clean looking with an industrial feel, but my table was sticky. Super disappointed. My boyfriend and I used the tablets to order and were not aware the chicken batter contained peanuts since there was no disclaimer on the tablet menu.
