    Sailor Moon Bento Box Meal
    Monica M.

Came here with my sister for Universal Fan Fest Nights event. We were excited to see Sailor Moon. We ordered the Sailor Moon bento box. The bento box had spicy tuna onigiri, a small octopus shaped sausage, sliced pickled cucumber, potato salad, Tuxedo Mask raspberry rose cookie, and a moonlight love sparkle jelly boba drink. The spicy tuna onigiri was just some cold, hard, dry, white rice with regular tuna and a tiny seaweed wrap that was crumbled up on it. The small octopus shaped sausage was a cold basic piece of sausage that was cut at the edges, and did not look like an octopus. The pickled cucumber and potato salad were pretty good. The jelly sparkling boba drink was sweet, and pretty good, but the straws were terrible. They are made of a thick layer of cardboard paper, not wide enough for the jelly or boba balls to go through it. So you cannot drink it with their straws. The Tuxedo mask cookie is extremely sweet. I like sweet, but not that much sweetness, therefore I was only able to eat half of it. But the cookie looked super cute. The food is pre-packaged. Each meal comes out to $29.99 plus tax, definitely not worth that price. I think $20 for that meal would have been ok. We also ordered the Sailor moon mystery box cupcakes, and each one was $10.99 plus tax. I think $6 for each cupcake would have been ok. These cupcakes were pretty good. We got sailor Mercury and sailor Mars. The cashier was friendly, but she was not aware of what food was included in the bento box meal when we asked her. The cashiers should be aware of that is included in their meals for special events. There was a video menu going on, but the slides were changing way too fast, therefore we had to watch the video over and over about 6 times with the cashier in order to find out what was in the bento box. We waited 5 to 10 minutes to get our food. There was plenty table seating space to sit down and eat our food. They also had plenty of utensils and napkins available.

Have eaten here several times and tried a vast majority of the menu items. Not great but not bad. The tacos are the best items to me. There are about 4 proteins to choose from. Open air layout. The staff is usually are good on the registers and pick up. Sometimes takes a while for orders to be completed. Outside seating and condiment tables are near the pick up window. Located directly across from Fast & Furious Supercharged Roller Coaster.

Ok literally have walked past this place a million times. After having a cocktail at Mulligans on our last visit we were looking a for a good snack and noticed they have nachos. Decided to try them out and added carnitas. WOW!!!! Their nachos are packed with meat, toppings and plenty of cheese. I don't think a single chip was plain or dry. So glad I tried them out

The tacos were okay, it only included two tacos with a plate. The churro bites were also just okay. Service was fast.

My son and I had lunch here, I saw their Birria taco plate , It look so good in the picture. When I got my order I was so disappointed! It doesn't look the same as the picture! For that price it's not worth it ! Taco Bell is way better! Service is fine . Ambiance is great.

Waiting area for in-progress orders to be picked up.

If you're reading this, it's safe to assume you're at Universal, deciding where to grab lunch, and have been lulled by the promise of margaritas, tacos, vegan options and cute Spanish architecture. But I'm here to save your Mexican food loving heart a lot of time and frustration. Like, a *LOT* A LOT. Today was a VERY crowded day at the park, and, with two hungry kids in tow, we specifically looked for a place with a shorter line and something veg-friendly. My family and I ordered two entrées: the sopes and tacos with al pastor beyond meat. We added on some sodas and a side of chips with a teeny-tiny guacamole. That's it. The total came to $63 and our order number was #20038. Cringing at the receipt, we walked over to the waiting area, where we found 27601 people waiting for their orders. "This'll take what, 15 mins?" I remember saying to my husband. AH ha hahahahahahahahahaha! Oh, silly Krissy. How cute. How optimistic. Fifteen mins came and went, and then 30. Then 45. Just as I was beginning to think they lost our order, I saw a woman who'd been a few feet ahead of us in the order line take her tray, slide it back to the window, and declare "my tacos are cold. Like, COLD. I did *not* wait AN HOUR to eat $17 stale, cold tacos. Please refund me." I looked around at my fellow members of dining purgatory. Should we storm the castle gates? Demand our sopes and maybe a margarita? But the fight for food was not meant to be. Rather, we all stood in quiet, hopeless, hungry resignation. We looked into the food void and it looked back. Eventually, about one hour into waiting, we got our food. ...And it was predictably underwhelming. Everything was cold. The portions of vegan Al pastor atop our corn masa was laughable. Kristin Wiig could've picked the scoop of faux meat up with her tiny doll hands and snatched it in one grasp, y'all. We ended up supplementing our meals with Uncrustables I'd smooshed into our backpack. Anyway... Le sigh. Our lunch experience annoyed me enough to Yelp about it, and (hopefully!) save the world. ...Or at least the hungry guests of the Universal Studios Upper Lot. Feliz Navidad, indeed.

The ambiance is reminiscent of an 80s fast food restaurant, with fixed tables and bench seating. Although it was lunchtime, there were plenty of tables and chairs for us to choose from. I had seen photos online of their asada burrito, and I was so excited to try it! It looked amazing. I added the chile relleno burrito on the recommendation of the woman who took our order, which also looked fantastic. Well, for starters ... the burritos didn't look like that in real life. The prices are pretty high for what you get. Our burritos were missing the "free guac" that they tout, which was disappointing. And unfortunately, the quality of the meat was pretty mediocre - our steak was largely chewy and there were large pieces of gristle and/or fat, which made for an unpleasant bite. Flavor-wise it fell flat, too. The carne asada burrito and the chile relleno burritos were pretty bland - and they shouldn't be! Mexican food is known for its flavor! Sigh. Finally, the burritos were poorly wrapped and tore almost immediately, falling to the plate and necessitating a spoon or fork, which defeats the purpose of a burrito. Service is somewhat slow, so you would think they had plenty of time to season the food and properly wrap it. I'm not sure what happened, but I doubt I'd return. Bummer. I **really** wanted to like it.

These were truly the epitome of street tacos and absolutely nothing about the vibe, the service, and the FOOD, disappointed. Immediately upon arrival, I noticed the long line of people and said to myself, either this place is really good or really slow. It took me longer to decide what I wanted to try than what it took for the line to move and for it to be my turn to order. So yea, these folks are FAST and very courteous as well. They have real Al Pastor on the trompo (the spit) so of course I ordered pastor tacos and a pastor mulita. I also ordered a few SUADERO tacos which you don't find just anywhere. I am still raving about the amount of meat and flavor of the food here, it's insanely delicious. Once you get your food you make your way down to the end of the taco stand where you are met with an amazing array of fresh taco fixings and salsas. The pink creamy-habanero was the best and the green/red salsas followed right behind. I can't wait to go back to this place. It's mind blowing how a stand on the side of the road puts out better quality food than a brick/mortar taco shop..but these guys know exactly what they are doing and it was a pleasure to try their food. 20 out of 10 for this place.

I do like how they grill their meat though and they use the tortillas to scoop up the meat on the grill. Thought the al pastor was a bit salty and the cheese did not add much flavor to it, but that's probably a good thing considering the saltiness of the meat. Also, make sure you ask them for pineapples since they did not include it until we asked. They do have them sliced up in a container by the meats. Ambience is very casual and it's a stand while eating type of situation. Service was quick.
