    Super Burrito
    Terrysue T.

I ordered the Super Burrito with carnitas, and my friend ordered the Burrito Bowl with Carne Asada. We both liked what we ordered. Tasted fresh and my burrito was filling! I couldn't finish it all. Our order came quick and was brought to our table! The lady remembered who ordered what. It was nice that they had a self serve station for chips and salsa. Chips were light and crunchy. Salsa was fresh!

We recently had a grad party for my daughter. We did onsite catering of taco bar! The owner, Anthony did an awesome job explaining our options and customize to our needs. They were on time on the day of the event. Went above and beyond and stayed longer than originally agreed upon at no additional cost. The food was super delicious and all the guests really loved the food. Very fresh and refreshing! Thank you Anthony and team! We will definitely reach out again the future.

This was a cute place we ducked into to grab some tacos. We each got Pollo Asada Tacos that were pretty tasty. The chicken was well seasoned and was not dry. Staff was very nice and let us sit and chat well past their closing time.

Kale salad with the addition of shrimp.

Interesting menu items, not quite your usual taqueria. I had a kale salad. With shrimp and a tip, it set me back about $22 which is a little pricey for lunch. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was tasty, although a little on the small side. The pico de gallo could have used more onions, a little heat and salt, maybe some cilantro. Actually I could have skipped it all together and been just as happy. The red (medium) salsa was good, though. The place filled up pretty fast at lunch time. Service was decent.

Keto taco plate with carne asada

I've eaten here about 10 times and have always enjoyed their food. It wasn't until today that I realize how solid the food really is. This is one of the rare spots that the whole family agreed on and that's saying a lot considering we have two teenagers. The staff is very accommodating to any questions or specifics needs on your order. I was so excited to see their keto taco plate today as I'm watching my carb intake. I was so surprised when I tasted my steak tacos to find that the tortillas were fresh and actually tasty. I often find that when you try to order the healthier option at fast food places, they aren't always fresh. We've tried their soups, burritos, crunch wrap and it's all tasty. Free chips and salsa are available as well. They have some tables outside so it's a great option if you have a dog. And their prices are good. There isn't many places in downtown Pleasanton that you can feed a family of four for under $100.

Chile relleno combo (tortillas too but not in the picture)

Normally I come here for a burrito (which is great), but finally, this time to sit down and have a meal. I ordered my benchmark for all Mexican restaurants, a chile relleno. It was great and a huge amount of food. Chips are self-serve so that you can get more as you're waiting for your food. The salsa selection is well-varied and I found one that was spicy enough for me. My experience was really good so I'll be back again.

    Colorful decor and tables!

This Mexican restaurant has been here for years! I recently stopped in to pick up a burrito for my son on a farmers market Saturday. The owner opened promptly at 11:30 and welcomed me in with a smile. I ordered a regular burrito with carne asada, refried beans and added guacamole. The burrito has huge, filling and delicious-just what my son loves! I will be back soon. I want to try the Ensalada and Pozole and my son wants the Breakfast Burrito!

Simple and delicious place to eat. Service was fast and kind. Normal meat options. I wish they had tripas, cabeza, and lengua options.

Love the service, the family who runs the business and I love the food!!!! I think that's enough to get you to come and try at least one time . I think they naturally just WOW people with their human kindness and service standard.

    Al pastor super wet burrito
    Jessica L.

Delicious tender burrito with tons of flavor for a great price! The wet burrito was huge and drenched with salsa, so the whole burrito was flavorful and didn't dry out at all. The texture of the tortillas and meat were perfect melt in your mouth. I like how they include the pineapple with the Al pastor. I felt like the ratios of all the fillings was perfect. There's a self serve chip and salsa bar, but they will include it in your takeout bag too if you want! The staff was very kind and made sure I had everything I wanted! The salsas weren't super spicy, but they were still full of flavor. Even though the burrito was massive, I didn't feel gross after and didn't have acid reflux lol. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant, so parking is easy even though it's on a Main Street.

I wouldn't expect traditional Mexican food coming here because it's definitely more of a Cal-Mex fusion! The ranch and BBQ sauce surprised me, but the flavor profile worked! Also loved the shape of the sidewinder fries, kind of like c-shaped wedges. Crispy Plantains ($14): I enjoyed these dipped in sour cream! It came with a lot, so I would for sure save some to eat with vanilla ice cream at home :) My friend got a side of black beans ($8) with it which she said was okay; I think she was thrown off by them being drowned in water lol Our server was lovely even as the evening got busier. As our organizer mentioned, they were fully booked that night so do reserve early. Warm earthy tones in the decor made for a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and the light jazz ensemble and lovely vocal performances elevated the evening's experience. The ambiance is a strong point. Being a paella newbie, I definitely looked forward to tasting a version especially after watching cooking shows over the years. The saffron broth rice nicely counterbalanced the seasoned shrimp, sausage and other ingredients. Thumbs up. I had several portions. The tempura cauliflower - good. KR Enchiladas were cheesey and rich, plumply filled, and the accompanied rice accented with corn. Since we shared the three enchiladas, my small piece was enough for me. Suggest passing on the sourdough side that came with the paella. The bread had melted, but cooled cheese on it and there was not much free broth in the paella to soak therewith anyway. With water being the group's primary beverage, perhaps request a carafe of water at the table to ease the thirstier folks (me). Our wait person gave helpful suggestions and efficient service. The rest of the staff had hustle. As normal with live music, be prepared to raise your voice and repeat yourself in conversations. Parking is ample, with a short walk, in this Nob Hill Foods shopping center.

They gave us two cups of free tortillas, a self-serve, generously stocked salsa bar. The food came out pretty quickly, and that's when we realized just how much we ordered! Plates were huge and both the dishes came with beans and rice. The fajitas plate was $20.88 and could easily serve two people, it came with sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato slice, meat and veggies, and beans and rice. The chile relleno wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped, since it was drenched in sauce, but it did have a nice cheese pull. So, I ordered my usual fish taco and shrimp taco with a Corona at the counter. There is a small chips and salsa bar next to the counter. Oddly, they provide VERY small paper bags to hold a few chips. That wasn't going to work for two hungry adults so I asked for a basket. That turned out to be an awkward ordeal. The owner/ manager ( not sure who) made kind of big deal about how "special" I am to be the only customer who gets a basket. We both thought it was awkward and rude at the same time lol. They have two small rooms to sit at a table. The tv was turned up when we were half way through the meal. It was much too loud for the small space. Another weird event. We couldn't wait to leave. Outdoor seating? There are a few small tables in the front of the restaurant, but the road noise was too loud for that option. Impressions The tacos were bland and unappetizing. I was very surprised how they lacked flavor. My husband had some kind of ala carte plate. He loves Mexican food! It was a disappointing meal for both of us. Suggestions The customer is the focus so you earn return visits. I think that was lost to the staff on this particular day. It's not a big deal to offer a bowl or basket for chips. If you have customers, especially who aren't watching tv, turning the volume up for the employees to hear is not going to make a good impression.
