One star is being a bit generous .... Worst dining experience I've had in a long time! ..... Service = 0 on a scale from 1-10 .... Horrible!! Food was mediocre at best! I think this is the first Mexican food restaurant I have ever been to that actually charges for chips. The $26 drink was less than mediocre... had to get up several times to ask for things that the server forgot or he just plain disappeared. I had one of their mezcal cocktails and while it was beautifully presented, it tasted very watered down? $14 for a small glass and not much liquor at all, I didn't order another. Food - 4 stars. I had the chicken mole. The waiter recommended this. Their mole was pretty spicy which I really liked. Service - 3.5 stars. Felt a little rushed and I had to ask for more water. As a real Mexican this place was so DISAPPOINTING! I had the Barbacao tacos and let me just tell you the flavor was NOT there. The tortillas were so dry and the meat itself had no seasoning or flavor at all. Street tacos do not taste like this, please don't order these, it's such a bad representation of how tacos are supposed to taste. Super disappointed. Nice spot but not nice food. You will like this place if you like waiting for service then being asked to leave after your table spends almost $600 for the tab. Me and a group of friends came here with a reservation. The service was incredibly slow but given how busy it was, we never complained. It took forever to get our drinks and the waiter was easily confused. Especially when we asked for our check. It took him about 30 mins to bring our check and cash us out. We had ordered one last round of shots BEFORE we asked for our checks. Once we paid we continued waiting for the shots we ordered. We finally get them. A few minutes later we were approached by the guy who was working at the hostess table saying they had other reservations and they needed this table. I understand given how busy it was, but the delivery was incredibly rude. Especially since most of the time we were there we were waiting for service and our waiter couldn't get it together. There were several different ways he could've approached us about needing the table. Telling us they have other reservations and basically to get up after spending $600 for slow service is not one of them. They will never have to worry about us taking up a table ever again. read more

I even received a confirmation text the day of...we sat in traffic all the way there just to be notified that they were closed (09/20) by a young lady working at the jewelry store near the entrance. There was also a lady there that didn't know what to say to her party of 15. I usually only write reviews about great food and service- but you guys need to figure out how not to upset your patrons like this when you decide to open or close with zero responsibility to those you've accepted reservations to. read more

The basics (refried beans and rice) are legit. Flavors of the mother land that is Mexico. They offer Molé, Pozole and Chiles Rellenos! Real chips and salsa. The food is fresh and well spiced. First place I've ever been to which charged for chips and salsa which also took us asking 4 times to finally get. The guac was $14 and bugs were flying in/around it within minutes INDOORS. Bonus: it wasn't even good, but I'm sure the bugs enjoyed it. Maybe for a nice restaurant I could understand these prices, but it's in the back of soap shop.. Ah man, I was really excited to come to this spot after hearing good things. The service was great, but it's one of THOSE places where you have to pay for chips 'n salsa, so we were hungry and when I ordered, the waitstaff asked if I'd like to add guac and I said, "sure"... meanwhile I was thirsty and before scanning the menu QR code I ordered a marg. Then I was presented with the "margarita of the day" which was pineapple habañero and sounded delicious! So obviously pulled the trigger, but saw they had a mezcal option when I got my phone back out - kind of a pain, but totally would rather than have a germ infused paper/plastic menu. Long story long... they were already making "marg of the day" so I gotta as okay with waiting for next drink on the "smoky" mezcal marg (which ended up being way better). Food was excellent and when I got my tab I tried to keep composure as it was OVER $60!!!!! I eyed the other tabs at the table which were under $20 with drinks, and granted, I got two, annnnnd got the chips/salsa/guac,,, but HOLY COW!!! So when I finally gave the itemized a good look over... the chips and salsa were an expectable $4.00, fine fine, even wouldn't have minded more, cause I know restaurants are hurting due to corona, but $12.00 GUACAMOLE!!!!????!!? It wasn't even prepared at the table!!!! And it wasn't anything crazy good or special! Oh, and the "marg of the day" which you'd think would be the special... nope, $14.00 when the "Smokey" mezcal (which was better in my opinion) was a dollar less. Maybe I missed the memo, but usually the daily special is a special... my entré was the same price as the drink of the day! I gave 3 starts cause the food/ drinks and service were good, but I feel a little taken aback with the up-selling that was definitely higher UP than expected :/ read more

Was not a fan! The food was so average maybe even a little below average! The Fajitas came with NO tortillas and when asked about getting one the server and the food runner looked confused! Then once we explained we wanted some tortillas they told us it was a up charge smh! There is no queso sauce at all on the menus and the food just lacked salt I had the the flautas and they were nasty after spending 40.00 on some flautas and one drink I left hungry so sad! read more
