Well, this spot makes a sandwich exactly how I like it! In fact, they are just a perfect all-around little spot for lunch if you are in the area. They've got a few restaurants in different locations around Phoenix. They've got several different sandwiches and tortas to choose from, plus street food and sides, and on top of that, several juices and desserts. Everything is fresh and prepared really well. Service was so great. I asked our server what sandwich or torta was her favorite and she told me it was the Cubana. I decided to try that and was not disappointed. The shop is bright and clean with seating on each side of the kitchen and restrooms for customers. We ordered: - Large Carne Asada Nacho to share - I was reminded of football games, soccer practices and outdoor sports activities when I took my first bite of this nacho. So nostalgic. Perfect amount of jalapeño, spice, queso, and meat. So yummy. - Torta 7 - Pollo en Escabeche (Marinated Chicken) - All Tortas Include: Mayo, Tomato, Onion, Jalapeño, Avocado, and Lettuce. Hubs really enjoyed and ate every bite. - Sandwich 5 - Cubana (Ham, Pork & American Cheese) Mm yum!! I feel like my sandwich was made with love! The bread was toasted perfectly. There was a nice even layer of fresh avocado on top of the meat and tomato. The melted American cheese with the two types of meat and lettuce gave it the perfect crunch and chew. So filling I only needed a salad for dinner. - Fresas con Crema - I couldn't resist trying a cup of strawberries and cream because I saw the cups of fresh cut strawberries sitting on the kitchen window. Torta = Sandwich If you like American bbq sandwiches, a torta will wow you too! I love the toasted bread they use. The Cubana with pulled pork and deli ham was so good! The sauuuuceeeeeeeee was a winner for us! Large enough to share between the two of us. The dietician juice is so fresh! It reminded me of a vacation. Definitely better than any juice from chains like Tropical Smoothie or Jamba Juice. Such a great space! Loved the music and ambiance. Lots of seating available. The food is over priced, doesn't seem authentic Mexican and lack flavor. The staff is kind, but the whole vibe of the restaurant just seems fake. The flavors and food are a copy cat of the tortas place next door which offers true authenticity. When I eat and TM, it just feels like I'm not eating from a truly prideful Mexican place. Nice Find This was our first visit to Torta's Manantial and we really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is clean, trendy, great lighting, with a very welcoming atmosphere and the food was delicious. The Tortas were bigger than expected. On this visit we shared the Cubano and the Hawaiian, both were very good. The meats are tender and flavorful, topped with freshest ingredients. Tortas Manantial offers a variety of aguas frescas like agua de melon, sandia, papaya, limon, horchata, fresa and they are all made fresh to order and are very refreshing. The staff arecvery friendly. They all greet you when you walk in. The food is delicious and the is reasonable for what you get. Stop in you won't be disappointed. read more

Don't be misled by other reviews claiming this place is good.** The quality has significantly declined. The tortas barely have any meat, and the carne asada fries were awful--the meat didn't even resemble carne asada. It was tough, overly chewy, and mostly consisted of fat. The only redeeming factor was the drink, but even that was overpriced. Save your money and eat elsewhere. I hope they improve their food quality because it's disappointing to pay so much for something that doesn't even taste good. read more

I shared a Cubana torta, chicharron torta, agua mango, agua guava, and Nachos con Tostitos. And although I starved myself at work all day in anticipation for dinner, I still had to take my nachos to go. Holy smokes was that a darn tasty meal. I recommend the chicharon torta hands down. If you don't get it, your mouth will never know true happiness. Don't deprive yourself. It's so good that even when I removed my contacts later on in the evening and my eyeballs were on fire from all the spices leftover on my fingertips, I was still thinking about my leftover nachos instead of flushing my retinas out with water. Very delicious torta and juices. Spanish is the main language here. But they will help you and it's not that hard to get an order in English I ordered a vegetarian torta. It's a large bun like bread similar to a sub in shape. And they toast it.. It was quite delicious. The cheese was good and there was some avocado onion tomatoes and dressing that was tasty. The bread tasted like it's made fresh. But I'm not sure if it is or not. I also ordered a cucumber juice. And I knew it was fresh and ripe because there's a foam that comes from natural fruit and vegetables that's very high in antioxidants and loaded with enzymes. They do practice social distancing. With the tables. They wear masks. And they sanitize between customers. I believe they also wear gloves. I wasn't really paying attention. Not sure if they require masks but I wore mine ...you can sit at the table without yours though.. read more

I drove 40 minutes and it was well worth it. I would do it again soon too. I got the Turkey torta it has my favorite avocado and jalapeño and comes with a chipotle sauce. Hands down one of the best tortas I've ever had, and their auga de sandia was amazing. Cashier/server was very friendly, and our food came quick. I also got an escamocha, which if you haven't tried it, you're missing out. I'm knocking two stars off due to two observations I made. I went at a busy time of day and I understand it takes time to get orders out. My issue was I was there waiting for my food for an hour and everyone that arrived after me got their food and even finished up their meals. The staff "forgot" to complete my order. The other is that the dining room was very gross. There was trash everywhere, the tables were sticky, and I saw some critters around. Definitely took my food to go.
