Rude employees. They messed my friend's child's icecream and they wont man up to it. I had to step in and asked them to re do it and thats when they did. While were eating, this is at 9:25. Then the shift manager closed the main door and i told my party we need to leave they are closing.. the shift supervisor Alex said youre ok you still have 5 min. Then immediately after walking away his co workers turned off the lights, didnt even wait for us to get up and leave. Right when we got out, my friend realized they over charged us, so we went back to talk to them. The fact that this location is so close to me makes it a very dangerous place for my wallet and my belly. But don't let that stop you because it sure doesn't stop me from coming in and getting my fix. (Don't forget, there is a Planet Fitness gym near by too so you can work out that waffle cone) The quality of the ingredients and the ice cream though makes up for the price that you pay. SO many different kinds of possibilities if you decide to create your own but if you can't make up your mind, they have a few creations already available for you to ask for. This location is great because, unlike the Glendora location, the staff are friendly and personable. They really made our trip last week (see: flying ice cream ala Pike's Place Market in Seattle). They talked with us the whole time and were really friendly and were more than willing to help us in any way. The prices are a little steep, but Coldstone isn't meant to be eaten every single day. If this is a once a month treat (or even once a week), you have nothing to complain about. Worry about the calories you're consuming, not the cash your shelling out. Tip: have a female friend bring a big purse, ask for a lid, stash the treat in her purse and enjoy it at the movies. Sure, it's expensive for ice cream but once you see AMC's concession prices you'll be happy you grabbed ice cream instead. Just left this location and was beyond impressed with the workers there. It was quite busy and there were three young ladies working the store. They were not only extremely attentive and efficient but they were soooo kind and polite. I mean seriously. If I could have this kind of service everywhere I go I would love it. By the time I left the store the taste of the ice cream didn't mean much to me as I was already sold on coming back from the amazing customer service I experienced. Earlier in the day my husband and I were craving ice cream but knew that we didn't have time to go until after 10 pm, so I did my research and looked up the above store's yelp page to see what their closing time was, and it was 10:45 pm on Saturdays. When we arrived, it was pretty dark inside, but the employees were still inside and the store hours sign on the window stated that the store closed at 11pm on Saturdays. At that point, we walked in because despite the neon open sign being off because the store hour sign said 11pm and it was only 10:35. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a young lady telling us that the store was closed. I explained to her that the store's yelp page said that the store closed at 10;45 AND that the store hours posted on the windows stated that the store closed at 11 pm on Saturdays. She called a young man, I'm guessing the manager, and he had the audacity to LIE to our faces and tell us that they had closed early because they were waiting for PLUMBERS to fix a pipe issue. Again, it was 10:35pm, what plumbers work at that time!?!? First, your company/store needs to make sure that the store's social media accounts match the store's hour sign posted on the window. Secondly, its very unprofessional for stores to close before the advertised time. Thirdly, I am shocked that cold stone would hire someone that would tell such ridiculous lie to their customers and think that I as a customer would believe such a far fetched and absurd lie. read more

We went to the movies next door then came to this establishment and they happened to have a special going on, if you buy a certain size you get another free if you present your movie ticket stub, no where on the sign did it say a custom creation and when I asked where it said that on the sign they pointed to the ice cream picture so I have no idea how that is proper advertising on their part but won't be returning. read more

This review is long overdue. Recently, I visited Cold Stone for the first time, and I must say that I was very impressed. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were absolutely delightful - very friendly. There was a large selection of ice cream. Some favorite classics, and then the more unique flavors. Along with the ice cream was a wide variety of topping, which you could mix to your liking. I was so pleased with their service that I tipped - which, I must admit I jumped a little when they started singing. Quite unexpected, but very entertaining and enjoyable. Always go in for some ice cream and usually I am served by the same employees which are either Jose, a tall young lady with light hair or Danny and obviously others but not so much who catch my eye. I saw a bad review about this employee Danny on here but I don't understand how this lady got a bad impression from him. He always greets me and serves my ice cream with a smile just as the other 2. I have no complaints. (: But I do admit there are some girls who are very loud and goof around but I did not get to catch their names. We had been ordering birthday cakes from this particular cold stone creamery for over 10 years. I had a custom cake made for my son where it was noted on the order form that that cake was to be chocolate and the ice cream flavor was oreo cookie with strawberries and bananas mixed in. I was charged $54 dollars for this cake as it was the large round cake and i had it decorated with a sponge bob theme. The cake was decorated nicely, no argument there. It wasn't until we cut in to the cake that we realized that red velvet cake was used instead of chocolate cake and there was not a single trace of strawberries or bananas in the ice cream. I had almost 20 people to serve this cake to so I took pictures of it and called this store the following day. Long story short, the only thing the "owner" offered was a 40% refund. Covina Cold Stone, if you're going to charge $50+ dollars for a cake you should make it as requested or give a full refund for YOUR MISTAKE. And to think I was asked if I still had the cake to take it to them so they could see that there was not strawberries or bananas in it. I can see I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience at this particular shop. read more
