The hard drive was failing and an IT tech recommended having it "imaged," which would result in an exact duplicate that would not require any software reauthentication. He also recommended Tech Care as the folks to do it. They initially tried doing an automatic imaging, which didn't take, so they attempted to manually image it and were successful. The computer now has a more reliable SSD drive (no moving parts) and it indeed works exactly as it used to (only faster). Eddie informed me that the old drive had maybe one month left before it completely failed. LIFE SAVERS!!! Eddie, Abed, Josh and everyone else I spoke to are top-notch guys, and the price to repair was eminently reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Comp-Pros is fantastic! I game and do digital art, but I'm hopeless when it comes to PC building. I decided to check this store out after my desktop started running incredibly slowly, bluescreening, and being unable to connect to my Wi-Fi router. It'd already began showing signs of wear a while back and was honestly just having difficulty starting up by this point. Andrey is incredibly skilled and thorough in his work. He ran some diagnostics, examined some of the parts, and let me know exactly what was causing issues and what needed to be replaced, as well as the cost of the new parts and their replacement. He helped me upgrade my grandfather of a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 10 gaming desktop that runs anything from video games at full resolution and 60 FPS to Blender and Adobe Photoshop. He quickly and cleanly fixed its Wi-Fi issues, its slow start-up, the bluescreen errors, and the laggy game graphics. Andrey even helped me change the computer case and guided me in purchasing the best and most cost-efficient fans and monitors for the full upgrade. This desktop now runs faster, quieter, and more smoothly than any other PC I've used. I genuinely haven't had a single problem since. Andrey's also taken a look at my touchscreen Dell laptop, which refused to open Chrome, and repaired/upgraded it to run at an even faster speed than it ran at originally. Upon my request he quickly ordered and upgraded its storage for an affordable price as well. He's knowledgeable in both the technical matters of repair and in the retail prices of hardware components, which is especially great for someone like me who knows little to nothing about the computer hardware market. His pricing was also much more reasonable than that of other repair services I was able to find near me. My husband and I own a company in Beverly Hills and when our computers started having some issues, I went on yelp to find a reliable computer repair company in Beverly Hills. A friend of mine had used Computer Professionals before and said good things, so when I saw them pop up on yelp, I decided to give them a call. They were able to get a tech out to us the same day and they resolved our virus problem with our main computer and also checked my husband's computer which had a problematic hard drive. Luckily we caught it soon enough and they did not have to do data recovery, which I am very familiar with since my laptop's hard drive died and I needed all my files and pictures recovered a few years ago. They took my husband's computer back to their office to fix and did a free delivery when it was fixed and ready to be brought back. After speaking with the staff at the office, we found out that they also build websites and offer SEO. Our website needed some work and we are definitely interested in any marketing to better our business, so we decided to work with them further. They are amazing and were there from the beginning to the end. We are now going to start running some PPC for the business and it's great to know that one company could do all this for us. We have a monthly IT contract with them, they continue our web edits and updates, they run our SEO campaign for us and now we are starting on our PPC ads. My boss lives in Tarzana and needed some work on his computers and his spotty internet issues. Since I've worked with Comp Pros before, I recommnded that we called them and have them come out. Like always, CP has been reliable and did exactly what was needed. Although when I worked with them, they fixed my HP laptop, they are savvy in all areas and does onsite appointments. They will come out to your home if you cannot make it to their west los angeles location. My boss needed his iMac and Macbooks looked at and they were albe to fix the issues and was great about explaining the problems. They were also able to work with the wifi issues and make sure there would be no future problems. Since Comp Pros covers other area, they are now in the talks of a new website and possible SEO options. I always recommend Computer Professionals to everyone who needs any kind of computer repair. So I originally found Comp Pros for the repair of both my laptop and external hard drive. My laptop was slower than a snail, and the external hard drive had been knocked over and broken. Luckily, I had come here and they not only fixed everything, but made it even better than new. Such a relief! Now not too long ago, my dad had opened up a new business and needed to make a website. Originally he wanted to try doing it himself, but being an electrical engineer, not a software one, it didn't really work out as well as he had hoped. I remembered from my previous two visits that aside from repair, Comp Pros also do web design, so I recommended them to my dad. And I'm so glad I did! The website turned out absolutely amazing!! Absolutely fantastic! Smart, quick, honest, and extremely reasonably priced...these guys know what they're doing without the pretense of expensive"'squad" warranties. Even though we knew what was wrong with the computer (son fried the hard drive)...they were completely honest and didn't even attempt to oversell the repair. They even let us bring in our own replacement hard drive to install & installed the operating system for half of what I had expected to pay had I taken it to the blue & yellow 'squad' store. The staff is wicked efficient and Flo is on top of it, letting you know everything that's going on, each step of the way. Parking is iffy (it's next door to a very popular Jewish market & on a very busy section of SM Blvd). There is parking underneath the building for $2 (even if your there for only 5 min), but I did notice that the parking guy is gone after 4pm. It's minor. I was happy to pay $2 to pick up my computer especially since the PC repair was so reasonable. read more

I've had mac repairs done with them before and they've always diagnosed and fixed it quickly. I need my laptop to work on when I'm at home so i told them it was urgent. If you ever have any problems with your computer - go to these guys. I'm pretty good with troubleshooting and fixing computer problems, but I had a few issues with my laptop that I couldn't solve, so I called them to describe the situation, and they told me to come right in - no delay. I got there about a half hour later and met Andrey, who put down what he was doing to help me out and take a look at my machine. Once he quickly identified the problem, it took him no time at all to figure out the solution and have me out the door with a fully functioning laptop. I opened my computer one night only to realize that it had reset itself and all my data was lost. I visited many computer repair stores and they all had no answer as to why it happened and gave me a ridiculous quote on recovering my data (I'm talking thousands of dollar).. Truly a business that cares about their customers. It's tough because there are plenty of computer stores all over LA that claim they can fix a problem. But what happens is...they take the computer and make the problem worse, then claim that more things need to be fixed which of course means more $$$$$ out of my pocket and more $$$$$ for them. I found this place a few years ago when my computer troubles first started. I didn't really know any good computer repair places at the time other than Geek Squad and they were always expensive. I've been to Comp Pros location in West LA a few times and they've always been great. The guys of Computer Repair Professional are great! And the services are also amazing. The charge is fair too! My labtop was dead one week before the final exam week. After two days I would have to prepare for text and exam. So on the Eastern morning, I tried to find a computer repair shop to help me. And then I found them. They are really good at fixing computers. Before they fixed it ,they let me get all the important files out so I won't lost them. Other repair services failed to solve the big problem bringing my computer to a halt. André and Antonio at Comp-pros proved worthy of the five-star reviews they've received on Yelp. They diagnosed and resolved the big problem and helped me with the long list of lesser issues I had with my computer. For example, they proposed and, with my consent, installed a program to prevent further problems. Gina and Antonio have graciously answered the questions I've had after bringing the computer home. I am very happy that I came across computer professionals for my computer repair. They were very professional and friendly when I spoke to them. They kept me posted with everything that was going on with my laptop. They definitely knew what they were talking about. I didn't think I'd be able to fix my computer... I thought I would have to buy a new one...but I am so thankful that they were able to fix it, my computer is no longer slow! I feel like I just bought a new one but for MUCH cheaper! It is a common Computer Professionals center giving services for a long time with reputation. I have an HP brand laptop but its mother board arise a serious problem known by the treatment of computer professional center last week. Here I feel that it is a special center for its expert worker and my faith goes up high to their excellent movement of work. They are amicable, friendly and someone who visit here they are received cordially as their nearest customers. Their behavior vigorous me and there are really expert to their duty. I always dread calling any tech related company since I'm not much of a computer oriented kind of guy. I just don't speak their language. However my experience with Secure Data Recovery Services, Los Angeles location has been great, they were really able to explain to me what exactly happened, what they were doing, when it will be ready, etc - and most importantly how to prevent it from happening again. I've been using Macs and Apple laptops since they appeared, and typically do my own repair and rehab. There's nothing I like less than having to deal with tech issues I can't take care of myself. But when TSA mashed my MacBook Pro, I did a lot of looking and found Comp-Pros. And I'm seriously glad I did. We are an all mac shop and we store all of our information on a server. We were having problems with 2 of the laptops and syncing them to the server. We had several people look at it but no one knew what was causing the issue. Someone in the office recommended Computer Repair Professionals so we gave them a call. We made an appointment for the next day. They were on time and were able to unlock the computers so that they can sync with the server. We are all really glad we found these guys, as they made all of our jobs a little easier! read more

Art, who I spoke to for 15 minutes, actually explained the process, asked lots of questions and was very helpful. When I went in, Art again took the time to explain what he would do and when I was concerned that, since I work til 5 and then close at 5, I wouldn't be able to pick up my computer. Art immediately said he'd have no problem waiting for me to swing by after work. In the end, I didn't even need my data to be recovered as Art was able to fix my liquid damage in under 24 hours. I'll definitely be coming back to A1A for all my completing needs. Also, they have an adorable little dog who had a chair in the window.

I know a bit about computers and knew it was probably…read moreone of three different parts that was faulty, but I didn't have spare components on hand to figure out which one myself; hoped they'd take a few hours and swap parts out until the issue stopped. I was told I would receive a call with an update the day after I brought it in. These guys had my PC for five days with no communication whatsoever. I can't get ahold of anyone over the phone, so I go in physically and ask what's up. They had misplaced my information and hadn't started working on the PC. Fine. I show them my info and leave them to it. Four more days pass. No call, no email. I go in again. What's up guys? They've eliminated one possible source of the problem, no dice. They act busy, tell me they'll call me with an update soon. For real this time, I guess. Two more days. I call them. Turns out they have been stuck and need my bitlocker password now, I'm happy to provide it and they tell me to wait for an email from them and then reply to it with the key. No problem. I wait for three hours before going over and hand-delivering it to them. They're working on eliminating a second possible source of the issue, and it's looking promising. Excellent. Before they close that evening I go in to see if it's solved, and I'm told that the yep, it's a faulty graphics card: they'd plugged in a different one and had no freezing issues. Great! All I need to do is take the PC home, get a new card, and we're good. I pay them $35 and I'm on my way. Though as I'm watching them go to unhook their test card, I notice that their test monitor definitely looks frozen. But they're the experts. Get home. Before I drop $800 on a new card, my spidey sense tingles, and I remember I do have an old graphics card on hand. Put it in my machine, just to see. Still freezes. So nearly two weeks went by between when I brought them my PC and when they incorrectly told me what the issue was. They are probably great if you don't know how to change your facebook password, but I would absolutely not take your stuff to them if you have anything more serious than that. Unless you like babysitting grown men, in which case you can probably still find a better way to get your fix.
