I was a bit worried to try this place again. Simply because on opening weekend I went and I had the brown sugar, espresso latte, and it was super watered down. However, I went back today and got the Horchata latte. It was delicious. I additionally ordered the mini pan dulce.My only concern is that upon arrival around 10:30 AM. Some of the tables were dirty. I was lucky enough to have Clorox wipes to wipe down the seats and the table. read more

Very disappointed. We drove all the way from Santa Clarita to try this place. We stood in line to place an order, but no one came to assist us, so we used the kiosk. The kiosk wouldn't process our payment at first, and it took over 7 minutes to finally work. We waited more than 10 minutes for three drinks. When our drinks were called, my husband's horchata frappe was watery. Two drinks were ready, and the third was made afterward. I ordered a mazapán frappe with coffee and paid extra for oat milk. I watched it being made, and she used almond milk instead (which I don't like) and added peanut butter instead of actual mazapán. When I asked if she used oat milk, she said I had ordered almond milk. I showed her the sticker confirming oat milk, and she said she could remake it--but offered no apology, only explaining she confused it with a previous order. I didn't have time to wait for a remake, but I was very disappointed. read more

Show her my recipe on my phone and she will not accept it as valid I have to work so I payed the full price I always have a good vibe in the con azucar cafe. Not sure I'm going back. I have been here 3 times and each time it has been wonderful. I love to try different drinks and each one has been great! I tried the mini pan dulce today for the first time and loved it. I've been here a few times and the staff is amazing. Jasmine is extremely personable, the staff is nice, easygoing and they always look happy. The strawberry matcha is so good if you're not much of a coffee person. The conchas are soo good! Take me back to my childhood. And the vibes are just amazing. this is a very quaint coffee shop. the ordering system is on a tablet, which is cool but you do miss the human aspect of it and I somehow put my order in wrong. but the barista kindly pointed out how to do it next time and even remade my order for me, even tho it was my mistake. delicious coffee. the menu has your basic coffees with a unique twist and lots of add-on options. so I loved that. lots of yummy pastry options and even full on breakfast sandwiches. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't land for me. The coffee was pretty mediocre nothing terrible, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. The bigger issue for me was the overall vibe. It felt like it was trying hard to capture a Latino-inspired aesthetic, but came across more staged than genuine. The decor had all the visual elements, yet it didn't quite deliver the warmth or sense of personality I was hoping for. One detail that stood out was a smiling, AI-generated Frida-style portrait, which felt a bit off-putting and out of place in the space. It added to the sense that the atmosphere leaned more toward curated visuals. AI is used quite a bit in the restaurant and on the delivery platforms as well. Just on a personal note, these are opportunities that could have been outsourced to the community. It is also what makes the latino community amazing. Of course, this is just my personal experience, and others might feel differently but for me, it felt like it was missing that heart and sazón that makes a place truly memorable. read more

So I want to be nice but I've been to tons of coffee shops. I think they have the look, they have the flavor but I'm guessing this is their first time running a business. The employees definitely hate working here their attitude screams "my parents made me be here". They have zero concern for customers. They're very disorganized, their scheduling is very off. How do you only have two employees working and there is a line of 7 people. I've come here on 2 different occasions. Every time was a terrible customer service experience. The coffee here is pretty good. This location just opened up and I have visited three times so far. It's a great substitution to Starbucks coffee that is located down the street from them. Considering that there is not that many choices near this specific area. The only negative thing I have about this place is how long you have to wait to order your coffee and receive. Went today for there grand opening. We ordered two sandwiches two drinks and a concha. The concha was super soft but a bit dry and small compared to other conchas I've had. As a Latina who grew up with real pan dulce, this was very disappointing. Any Mexican bakery knows that pan dulce is meant to be made fresh every morning, on site. That is part of our culture and tradition. Finding out that the pan dulce here is brought in from a third party is especially disappointing--especially at these prices. You cannot charge premium prices for pan dulce that is not freshly made at the location. The quality, texture, and freshness reflect that. Pan dulce is not just bread; it represents culture, family, and tradition. When a bakery presents itself as Mexican, there is a clear expectation of authenticity. Unfortunately, this did not meet that standard. I truly hope the owners reconsider this choice, because many customers who know authentic pan dulce will notice the difference. read more
