Concord Honda care service sucks!!! Here are reasons: 1. Longer time. I went there couple time to change engine oil, it takes average 2 hours. PS: the waiting time agent told me is always longer than actual time. 2. No car wash. I used to go other city honda care. A-1 or B-1 always includes car wash and a paper of full check list. Concord honda care did not do car wash, no check list. And worst thing is it charges more!!! 3. Bad records or try to fool me?? I did air filter change and transmission oil change one and half year ago, but in next two visit the agent always ask me to change those again. I told them please check your records I have done already and then they say oh yes you did. Very unprofessional!!! Make me feel they tried to fool me to pay more!!!! 4. They know they sucks. Last time visit after almost 3 hours waiting I finally got my engine oil changed. The agent was telling me he knows they did not give me a good service this time, please give them a good review otherwise it will have a impact on their career, and they will try give me a better service next time. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received today. The manager came to talk to me after I asked to speak with him and he wasn't even apologetic. If someone arrives at 7 am to drop off their car for an appointment at 7:40 they should not have to wait 25 minutes for help or attention. I had paid for my part and just needs it installed and i needed to get to work, I just wanted my advisor to take the car and let me go. I have been to this location before with subpar performance, they didn't fix the problem twice, said the car was ready and I arrived and had to wait 40 minutes. Waste of time! November 15, 2017 at approximately 1115 I was in Concord and needed oil change. I had never been here before as I usually go to Walnut Creek Honda. I didn't have an appointment. I saw there was an appointment lane and a non-appointment lane. So I drove in the non-appointment lane. A gentleman waved me in all the way to the to the front. And then promptly ignored me. I watch for five other gentleman moving cars walking right past my open driver side window. NO ONE acknowledged me. No one said "we are really busy today we may not have time for a non-appointment." If even one person had said that, I would've been fine that. Instead they put a car facing the wrong way in the non-appointment lane behind me. I guess that was supposed to be my hint. I left. I bought a used 2015 Honda Odyssey Elite from Concord Honda dealership. I was compensated $500 to fix a front passenger side panel that was slightly off (at an outside repair shop as the dealership does not have a repair shop). The repair shop charged me over $2,000 to repair the panel, front bumper, and back bumper that were all bad. The repair shop indicated that the Honda looked liked it had been previously repaired and (poorly) repainted. BEWARE! read more

I had a great experience here at Concord Honda. Very few complaints from me here. First off, I want to give a huge thanks to my salesman, Jay. He was very kind and friendly throughout the entire car buying experience. It was my first time buying a car, and he was able to make that process easy.. Not once did I feel any overbearing pressure to go outside of my price range, nor was there any uncomfortable upselling. He's a salesman after all so he did have to inform me of my options, but he was very understanding of my wants and my needs. He even went above and beyond in two ways. While waiting for a financer to help us out, Jay stayed and chatted with me and my family for quite awhile, which made the waiting go by quicker and also made it much more personal and friendly. Then, when he realized that there weren't going to be any financers available for us for awhile, he reached out to one of his bosses and got his boss to help us finance the car. Great service in all regards. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new car. The facility itself is super nice as well. Complimentary coffee and water, and tons of seating. Really, my only two complains were that it took almost 4 hours from start to finish for me to drive off the lot with my car, and that their bathrooms were all closed. Bought my baby in 2015 and been going here for regular service every time the service light goes on. It has always been a pleasant experience. You pull up in a garage and are greeted by a service advisor. Once they go over your options, you are treated to complimentary pastries (most of the time) and hot beverages. There is a clean seating area and a TV. I have to say though that today was over the top. I was greeted by Tom Daw and he was quick and thorough, which I like and he surprised me with a clean car, which was so appreciated. He listened to my needs and gave me his recommendations and showed me my options. I wanted to down grade from my truck to something that gets better gas mileage since I commute almost everyday. I drove away from Concord Honda in a new 2017 Accord Sport. It was my first new car purchase and the experience Chris offered couldn't have been better. Well I must say it started out good with our sales man "Mike" (newer to the dealership). My son purchased his first used car from here on 9/1/17. He purchased a very nice 2005 Honda civic. Mike was very friendly and helpful, however that was the end of that. Unfortunately Mike did not put the radio code in the paperwork. The radio works but we needed the code for the future. Mike gave us his personal cell phone number and told us if we needed anything to use it. Well I don't know why he did that because my son phoned him once and I left him a message as well. Mike never got back to us. Thankfully, after going through the manuals we noticed the prior owner had written it down. Beware these people are SCAMMERS!! I went in after seeing an ad for an Accord Coupe. Get this, I even called first to verify the price and setup a test drive. After I arrived at my scheduled time, I was made to wait over 15 minutes. When I tracked down the salesman Ali and told him I had to get back to work, he said the advertised price was "a typo". He then unapoligetically proceeded to quote me a price over $2,000 higher!! When I complained that these were bait-and-switch tactics, he said "read the disclaimer at the bottom of the ad". Needless to say, I headed for the door. We have found working with other area dealers much more enjoyable. I spent the past weekend car shopping for my youngest son & I must say, I really liked the environment of this place; kept really clean in comparison to a few others I stopped by. I dropped in on Friday & my salesman was very helpful, but I could tell the place was busy. I test drove a couple, but decided to come back the next day. The salesman named Alex sold my older son his second car a couple weeks ago, and I went to him also, great guy. Made the whole process very understandable for my son & was very knowledgeable. Horrendous experience! My family has already purchased 2 cars from this dealership this year and we were trying to purchase a 3rd. We came a month ago and decided which car and color we wanted. We had agreed upon a price and went ahead to proceed filling out the loan paperwork. At the time we had realized there was and issue with my cousins pay stub and were not able to proceed at the time because it needed to be corrected in order for her to get approved for the loan. We came back last Friday as everything had been corrected. We had been told that there was 1 car in the color we wanted available and they would hold it for us. We came in later in the day and were told that it was already sold. The salesman had told us that we needed to buy another color because they could not get another white one without paying extra for the delivery fee. Even though there was another white one 10 mins away at walnut creek. I even offered to get it myself. We had told them that we were not in a rush and are willing to wait for the color we wanted. The rep came back and said that the General Manager Jack Zhang said that they do not want our business because we had shopped around before we came. I had told him that we had not and even if we did that is well within our right as a buyer. When I asked to speak with the General Manager I was told that he does not want to speak with me. We felt insulted and discriminated against. This is not how a return customer should be treated let alone any customer. Is this how Honda prides itself on customer service??? Bought my new car a few weeks ago and can't complain. First their Sonic price beat True Car by quite a bit. I got the .9% finance so can't argue with that. Ok I got "boofed" on the trade in but it was in the price range so why not. The finance guy was cool as we went back and forth on the warranty deal until we negotiated an acceptable price. Since I got the car I have been back to the parts department to get the all-season floor mats and cargo tray that look very cool (I utilized their discount coupon they had online). So all I can offer is this advice when buying from them: do your homework, know your deal breakers, and go in with a positive attitude and if reasonable you will get a good deal. 4 stars until I see if this extended warranty pays off! read more

I had to leave because I could not wait any longer, while he tried to find a CR-V that was either not sold or had gas in the car. We purchase the Accord Hybrid EXL last May 2018. Our salesperson treated us like we never had a car before, kept interrupting us whenever we say something. Talked too much, not even asked if we have any question. Showed me the inside of the car but never the engine. Never offered water and never showed where the restroom is, unlike the other dealerships we've been. At first the plan was to get a regular Accord but when we saw the Accord Hybrid, we decided to get the Hybrid but she was discouraging us. She gave us the numbers but the APR was too high knowing we can get it lowered since our credit scores are very good if not near perfect. We were about to leave and she showed us she was not happy. The finance manager showed up and was able to give us a lower APR, and convinced us to purchase the vehicle. About the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance they were able to convinced us to get. But when we got home, we did some research and called different dealerships and they offer us way lesser. We purchased the car May 22 2018 that was Saturday, early Monday morning of May 24 2018, we tried calling them the whole day and left messages too and never get a return call. Next day Tuesday, were able to get hold the finance manager asking him to cancel the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance but he told us its too late, its already submitted to the bank and can not be reversed. With our persuasion we're able to cancel it, the monthly payment will still be same but the amount of time will be shorten. The only thing we're "happy" about this transaction she explained about the use of the touch screen but forgot to mention that it needs to be updated. read more

They did a bait and switch in order to get us back for a second visit on a new car - told us they could give us certain rate on a car purchase, but once we went back, they said they could only make the same payments through a lease, which is not what we wanted. Cristina/Jack told me my credit score was not very good so could only offer me a higher APR on a new car purchase. I learned from another dealership that my credit is stellar, and more than 100 points higher than they told me! They might offer a lower sale price on a car but they will get your money one way or another way if you finance with them. This place explains why car salesmen get a bad rep as being slimy and untrustworthy. Big waste of time. read more

Dear Honda Service Department, You all are bunch of liars. I had my car in for 60k service and was told I needed a $300 brake job. That my rotors needed to be resurfaced and my pads were down to 1mm. Smelling the bull, I took it to my local Les Schwab where we take our other cars for brakes and tires. My pads are at 6mm and my rotors looked great. Thanks for your total dishonesty and desperate attempts at a money grab. Its a damn shame that is how you treat customers. And before you rail on Les Schwab...they have 4 stars on Yelp and not the sub-par 2.5 stars you have, which in my opinion is still putting you in the severely overrated category. I was at this Honda Dealership for about 30 minutes. I came here to look at the civic hybrid and insight. I almost had to beg people here to show me the cars I was interested in. The receptionist was too busy staring at her iPhone. There were 3-4 guys standing outside chatting. None of them paid attention to me or tried to attend to me. After 30 minutes of looking around in parking lot, doing my own research, I left and went to Honda Walnut Creek instead where I was greeted the first moment I stepped in. I mean if the service was this bad when I went there with money in hands to buy a car from them.
