Tiny Kombucha focused restaurant in The Grove with a variety (8) of unique flavors of Kombucha, and you can try multiple in a "kombucha flight". -Flavors are constantly changing. -Have a bunch of different size options for Kombucha, and you can get a big growler to go as well. Have a full menu of vegan dishes also. Seating is very limited and cramped. There are only 4 two person tables inside, and around 3-4 tables outside. I went for lunch with my friend, and we both had coupons for a free flight of 4 different Kombuchas with a food purchase. We decided to get all 8 of the different Kombucha's to share. I really enjoyed almost all of the Kombuchas. Although I thought that the Kombuchas were great, I was not impressed by the food. I understand that it is all organic and whatnot, but I am not a really crunchy-granola person and I was not impressed. The portions were tiny and, quite frankly, I did not think the food was that good. Weird hours (11-9, F-M)

Confluence Kombucha has been on my list of places to try for a long time and I finally got to experience it! It is in a popular area with a lot to do so I could see myself coming here to pick up some kombucha then having a nice walk on a sunny day. What I ordered: we split the kombucha flight. There is no way I could remember all of the flavors, but I loved the pineapple and turmeric! (Maybe it didn't have turmeric. I can't remember. It was definitely the pineapple one though!) We were only slightly hungry so we ordered the sample of 3 different types of kimchi. The last time I had tried kimchi I was 10 and I hated it so I decided to give it another try. Well, I still hate it. But that's not their fault! If you like kimchi, I'm sure it's good here! The place is very small and I'm sure it fills up on some nights! We were talking to who I assume is the owner. He is super energetic about what he does! You can tell he cares about the quality of the restaurant. I will be back for some more pineapple kombucha!

A++++ Maybe the best vegetarian food I've had at a restaurant. Inventive dishes with delicious ingredients. I'm so happy we decided to give Confluence Kombucha a try. We ordered scrapple, mushroom, and a kimbap taco. All three were ridiculous. I'm not even sure I can pick a favorite. We also got the 8 pours flight of kombuchas. We loved all of them except the artichoke leaf one - very bitter. The chaga was my favorite. Very good. As an added bonus, the sous chef (Dominic, I believe) was delightful. We spent the better part of nearly two hours chatting with him and anther local guy. What a great food and community experience.

The ambience here is warm and friendly. I love how you can order flights of kombucha... since I couldn't decide I just asked the waiter to surprise me! The salad there was beyond delicious (I think it was the kale salad) The kimchi tacos were fun and delicious The blackened tempeh was good but you need to have the taste for it (my mom was not a fan)

Hanna was a gem. She greeted me with a warm smile, explained the menu in detail where I had questions and continued great service throughout my dining time. The space exudes nature, peace & prana. I wish I could pack the little space up and place it untouched in my own living quarters. Wood, metals, colored glass, greenery, patterned fabrics...I loved just sitting there. Onward to the experience... Hanna brought out water and it was green so I asked, umm what kind of water is this?" It was Coconut Geranium water & very refreshing might I add. Next out came my Kombucha. Flight: Asian Pear Chaga, Chicory & Cacao Concord Grape Sarsaparilla & Mace Foti & Eucalyptus I'd love to pick a favorite but honestly they were all delicious. If your dining with a partner of suggest a flight of 8; this way you'll get to each of the tea specials for a nominal $10. Food: Coconut curry with brown stick rice, butternut squash, grilled eggplant, coconut chips & flowers to garnish. If you think it sounds beautiful just take a gander at the photo! This was a very filling, flavorful dish. I planned to try the tacos on my next visit but I'm not sure I want to deviate from the curry (like ever in life). I'm a fan of all things fresh, refreshing & revitalizing. Kombucha has captured my heart...I'm a fan. ~Christy

    Dips, crackers, and kombucha flight.

I came here for the first time on their one year anniversary party, so I think it was a bit crazier than expected. Aside from that, the staff was doing their absolute best to make sure everyone was happy, so I give them five stars in the service department. The restaurant it cozy inside and specializes in a rotating, mostly vegetarian menu that will not make you miss meat. We split a flight of kombucha and a plate of dips. They dips and crackers were incredibly hearty and filling - I ended up taking some dips home! Overall it was good and fun to try some new and different flavors, but the price is a bit prohibitive to making me a regular.

Overall: i won't ever go out of my way to go here Ambience: It's a small place, seats 10ish inside , but we chose to sit outside. So to a first timer, this place may seem busy. But 20 people eating-in at a time is not really that busy. The chef here is very nice and friendly, and so is the staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable on the food served here. Menu: Skip the appetizers, except for the mushroom dish and the radish with fake cheese. The 18-sampler is the most overrated thing on the platter, IF you're eating dinner here. Almost every flavor is a repeat. We had their dinners, and here's whatI think - everything tastes delicious except it is missing a base or staple meal. Also, all dinner items are samplers - goes great on a pizza but trying to fill your appetite with it is hard. Service: This was ok. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. Price: Just right. We had most of the menu and it was $25 per person. We are a second dinner after though.

6/5 if I could. Truly a kombucha mecca. So many amazing and unique flavors. We did a flight of 8 kombuchas. Great prices. And the service was unbeatable. The staff was well versed on what was in each and his thoughts behind the concept development. He even showed us his herb garden in the back! I'd go back tomorrow if I could. One of a kind experience right in the heart of STL.

What a unique experience and an even more flavorful meal! Honestly, the best Kombucha I have ever had! They had a variety of flavors, that all had a different purpose and the staff were able to explain the benefits of each! I sampled a few flavors before deciding which ones I wanted! I ordered the avocado toast, coconut curry and Kimchi! I cannot wait to go back, I am sure if I was not 3 hours away, I would have already been back a few times!

What a cool spot! I went with a friend on a Friday night for kombucha flights. I was super impressed with our server's knowledge of all the different flavor profiles of the kombucha including the medicinal properties. Our flights were very reasonably priced and came in really cute eclectic glasses. My favorite is the prickly pear kombucha. There is limited seating inside but feels cozy. I can't wait to return for another flight and to try out some of their food items.

    Mandi L.

Great service. Great atmosphere. Great bucha and food. The got a flight of kombucha. 4 types for $6. Highly recommend. Choose your fav and take home a pint. I also enjoyed the nut and bread. All food is made in house.

I'll be honest- I was insanely skeptical. When told we were having dinner at an all vegan, all vegetarian, gastropub, I rolled my eyes and resigned myself to doing something truly millennial (note: I'm a millennial) But holy moley guys... I'm a very solid meat eater, but right now I'm so incredibly full and happy and I feel GOOD. The menu is... adventurous. I didn't know 60% of the words on the menu. Turns out, I didn't need to. I got the squash, my husband the curry soup. Our friends got a random assortment of oddities too. Each one was delicious in a unique way. This is what an experimental gastropub should be and it's awesome. And adventurous! Trying new things that you can't pronounce deserves extra credit. The place is adorable and cozy. The chef prepares all the meals behind a small counter and is available to answer questions from us noobs. They make or grow everything in house. Their staples are pickled veggies and fruits and they have their own fermentation room you can check out from the hallway. If you've never had Kombucha fix it now. I have gastropariesis and this stuff is it's own medicine. Also it's delicious! Think apple cider vinegar but tasty and carbonated. Have a flight of Kombucha to sample and you won't be sorry. It's a very hard sell to get meat eaters into a vegan restaurant. An even harder one to get them to return. We will be back.

What a gem! This is an intimate space that serves a variety of fantastic kombuchas, small plates and healthy meal options. Love the vibe, enjoyed the service and felt warmth and love in the space.

That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. You walk into this older building and it just opens up into this bright, clean, almost energizing space . I went with the Umami Crunch with tofu and... yeah, this is the kind of place that makes you realize how rare a really good salad is. Like, when do you ever eat a salad and think, "the lettuce is incredible"? That happened here. Everything tasted fresh in a way that's hard to explain unless you've had it. And then you find out why--they literally have a hydroponic farm attached. Not just for show either... they do tours, and a lot of what you're eating is coming straight from there. It makes the whole experience feel different in the best way. The portions are huge, super filling, and still somehow feel light and clean. I also grabbed a local blue spirulina kombucha that ended up being one of the best I've had. If you keep wandering toward the back, it turns into this almost maze-like space, and on weekends they do a pop-up called Biscuit Town with breakfast items (including vegan options). It just keeps going. Honestly, I walked in craving a REALLY good salad and left wondering why it's so hard to find places like this. This is one of those spots you go to once and immediately know you'll be back.

I recently stopped by after an appointment in STL. It was right at lunch time and it was also, opening day for the Cardinals. So when I entered, the line to order was already long. To my surprise, the one lady taking orders, moved that line quickly. So I give her major kudos. When it was turn to order, I was ready. I went with a Double and swapped out the American Cheese for Pepper Jack. For my side, I tried their Salt&Pepper Onion Rings. After ordering, I took my number stick and took a seat at the bar. Once seated, the bartender welcomed me and I ordered a draft beer. I barely had completed my Wordle and my burger basket was being slid in front of me. Before taking my first bite, I admired the crisp edges and actually ran my finger around them. My first bite was heaven. It proved to me that all a good smash burger needs is; ketchup, mustard, onion and pickles. The Onion Rings were made in house and the simple seasoning of Salt & Pepper made them a winner. While dining at the bar, I learned a new trick. If you're going to be sitting at the bar to enjoy your smash burger, you can order it from the bartender. That's right, no standing in line to order, you can go straight to the bar. Great staff. They all hustle and provide friendly and professional service.

The steak came out medium rare, and both her fries and my burger and Brussels sprouts were overly salted. The one bright spot was the mac and cheese, which we took to go. I was very excited to try them but left knowing I would not return. I waited 40 minutes on a weekday morning for a bar seat for one, standing because all the waiting area seats were taken. The hostess/waitress was very nice when she got to me, but you could tell that the amount of customers was simply too much to handle. Now, this was okay - I should have made a reservation, and it's not the staff's fault they were overwhelmed. However, the service once I sat down was patchy, delayed and distracted. I had to remind different servers of my presence, multiple times. I was willing to overlook this if the food had been fantastic, but unfortunately, their most popular item, the combo breakfast sandwich, was so incredibly heavy. The first bite was crispy, oily and fatty deliciousness, but by the third bite it was simply too rich. The sweet overtone of the honey was lovely but did not cut through the grease. By the time I finished half, I understood why several diners had left the other half uneaten. My personal preference is for a fresh, umami yet balanced sandwich that does not make me feel queasy after finishing it. This was not the sandwich for me. There was a long delay after I finished eating for them to bring me the check. My whole meal took around 2.5 hours. I had arrived starving and, I like to think, with an open mind. These are my honest, unfiltered observations. It is wonderful that so many people want to try their food and that their new space is bigger. Their decor, glassware and menu were cute and tasteful. I also love that they grew from a farmers market food stall and that they source their ingredients locally. With their level of popularity, I think they should focus on preserving the quality of their service and food.

Just a heads-up: parking can be really tricky since it's neighborhood street parking, so if you get lucky, you get lucky. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice pizza spot, kind of easy to miss but luckily we were walking and stumbled upon it. We got…read morethere right in time, at 5pm on Sunday night before it got packed. Only one girl was working the floor, she did a great job, but sometimes the wait could be long. They have on draft cocktails which is nice, I can't imagine how long of a wait it would be if only one person worked the bar and the floor - making drinks! Inside is very clean and it was open seating. We got the GF cheesy bread and GF Big Mac pizza. The cheesy bread was our favorite, lots of Parmesan, came out really hot with great flavor. The GF dough was really good, you wouldn't know it was GF unless someone told you! The Big Mac pizza was good but I think pickles should be inside, and just the sauce and sesame seeds sprinkled on top with more cheese. The pickles should also be higher quality (in my opinion) but they're the exact same pickles as McDonald's so they're staying on theme. It was good but wasn't my favorite. We did enjoy it and liked that they are stuffed pizzas so it's very filling.
