The food is very average, but the service was probably the worst I've ever experienced in any restaurant, ever. After waiting 45 minutes after we've been told "there's only 2 tables ahead of you, shouldn't be long" we get seated. After awhile a waitress comes over to take our order, which we put in drinks, apps and the kids food. A food runner delivers the kids' food and our apps, and the waitress doesn't check in or refresh or drinks or anything. We'd like to order since our kids had their food, so I flagged her down and told her we'd like to order. She gives me a dirty look and says ok and then walks away. wtf was the dirty look for? 15 minutes later our kids are almost done with their food and she finally comes back around and asks if we're ready to order, and by this time our kids are basically done with their meals, and I know by the time our food actually comes it'll probably be another 30 minutes so we just ask for the bill. She wasn't apologetic or helpful whatsoever. Idk you go to a restaurant for the hospitality not to get treated with dirty looks and crappy service. Way better restaurants to go to, no clue why that place was so busy. The host staff was nice but I wish they were more upfront and realistic about the wait times. That waitress was straight up offensive though. read more

Copper Door delivers a great balance between upscale dining and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone...from creative cocktails to well-executed comfort food with a twist. I had the short rib mac and cheese, and it was rich, flavorful, and worth every bite. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We made reservations at Copper Door for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We were seated immediately when we arrived (a bit early). I love Copper Door. It is not a "cookie cutter" restaurant. You really feel like you are somewhere special. I love the chandeliers and the modern paintings. It has a really warm atmosphere. I had the amazing Bosc Pear Salad and my husband had the Blue Cheese Wedge Salad. I love the Pear salad. Crunchy pear, cheddar, arugula, and candied cashews in a yummy dressing! My husband loves the wedge...says it's almost a meal in itself. I had the Seafood Casserole, but asked for no crumbs and no cream sauce and had green beans instead of the mashed potatoes. I have had the Seafood Casserole both ways and like it much better without the crumbs and cream sauce. It was delicious. My husband always enjoys their Cedar Plank Salmon with Quinoa and Asparagus. For dessert he had the Gluten Free Chocolate Berry Cake and I had the Millionaire Cheesecake (to die for). All the food was top notch. For drinks i had the Mai Tai and my husband had a Bourbon Cherry Mule that he said was delicious. Our server Kristy could not have been nicer. She engaged with us about our anniversary and asked us questions about where we got married. When my husband told her he proposed to me in Paris, she thought that was an amazing story! Excellent food & service! Waiter constantly refilled water glasses, kitchen split out entree, baked stiffed haddock and mashed, cooked perfectly, fish was hot and moist. Apps were great, tuna, meatballs, and Portuguese fish stew with loads of fish. Bread was warm and soft, with salted slightly crisp exterior, very nice. Too full for dessert, but coffee was excellent, fresh brewed, and served in an oversized mug, nice touch CD!!! read more

The ambiance is lovely, service was great, food on the bland side. Prices reasonable. It would have been a restaurant that perhaps we would have gone back to EXCEPT when I called to make a reservation I was told I had to pay $25.00 on a card in case I didn't show up. When I questioned that she said ok never mind. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. And the food, ambiance , nice band, service did not make up for the tacky way I was treated. Went for a late dinner in New Hampshire on our way to Maine and this place was okay. Busy Thursday night with attentive service, loud ambiance. So for starters. We ordered calamari and chicken rangoon and both were just okay, calamari tasted frozen and nothing special for the rangoon. For dinner, we ordered the copper door supreme pizza and that was excellent however the prosciutto and ricotta pizza was super salty.. we all know that prosciutto is supposed to be salty but this was way over the top, it was unbearable to eat. We ended up taking it home and removed the prosciutto and came out great because the sauce and crust were actually delicious. read more

We frequent this place and love it. Recently I sat near the kitchen and noticed the manager cleaning the edge of the plates that were going out as well as cleaning the edge of the sauce bins and counter using the same rag repeatedly. That's a lot of cross contamination and it really made me feel uncomfortable about ordering food there. Glad they want the meal presentations to look nice but please don't keep using the same dirty rag on everything, that's just gross! read more

3.5 stars. The space and the service were absolutely amazing - but a lot of the food just wasn't good! The pasta was undercooked and under seasoned, the chicken in the chicken Marsala was inedible. Completely overcooked and tough. If they weren't such central components of the meal it would have been fine, but they kind of ruined an otherwise super enjoyable time. There were some bright spots on the food though, the cook on the fish was good and the cook on the fried chicken was excellent. The appetizers were pretty on point as well. Hoping next time that the food is better becasue I really enjoyed my time there otherwise read more

I am happy to bring back a 5 star review to The Copper Door. After a bad experience earlier in the year, my party of four recently had an excellent all around dining experience. All four raved about their meals. Our 7PM reserved table was ready on arrival. We were promptly greeted by our server who brought forth an order of their famous warm monkey bread while we looked over the menu. Two in the group started with their wedge salad, both saying it was terrific, while two, including myself opted to start with their Five Onion Gratinee (French Onion) soup. I'll note this was a major disappointment for me on my last visit. This time they redeemed themselves as it was absolutely delicious with a flavorful broth loaded with sweet onions and the perfect amount of melted Swiss cheese over brioche. For entrees the group enjoyed their Ravioli & Short Rib (excellent), New York Strip (excellent), Tenderloin Kebobs (excellent), and I equally loved my ordered Bourbon Beef Bacon Tips. All came as exactly as ordered, temp wise and were delicious. Our server, I think Todd was his name, was awesome. He offered suggestions on perfect sides for the two Butcher Cut entrees, was professional, attentive, and sociable. Familiar with the phrase "like lipstick on a pig"? Great indoor and outdoor spaces, but the food is typical chain restaurant nonsense. Improved ambiance = higher charges for mediocre food I suppose. Chicken tacos were something I'd be embarrassed to serve guests at my house. The dish is incredibly poorly conceived with cold "meat", cold and stale tortillas, a giant handful of clearly bagged/not fresh cabbage on top and a drip of avocado dressing that was for some reason on the bottom. Basmati rice (?) mixed with a mish mash of beans and veggies on the side. The rice was at least bordering on lukewarm. Calamari was nicely fried but lacked any real flavor/salt in the dredge. Marinara sauce tasted bland/from a jar. Service was cordial but bewilderingly slow. Beer prices were decent. TLDR - save some money and go get better, warmed up food from the 99 or Not Your Average Joe's. read more

Food is delicious, although they did over cook my ribeye which was ordered medium rare and it came out well...staff was very quick to correct their mistake. The food and the service here was excellent. I cannot complain about that end of our time at Copper Door. We went for lunch (4 of us) on a Sunday and without any alcohol the bill including tip was over 200 dollars. I was very surprised at the bill. The atmosphere here is kind of nice and I would expect that to be dinner prices, not lunch prices. So that would be my only complaint to be honest. The girl who waited our table was great and was attentive and friendly and had a great personality so no problems with her whatsoever. But for that price point, the Copper Door is no bargain. Was the food good? Yes. Was it worth the money spent just for lunch? No. Very overpriced IMO. Beyond that, everything else was great! read more

I heard great things about The Copper Door before visiting for dinner. We made a reservation at 5:30. The restaurant called and texted multiple times beforehand to confirm our reservation. To the point we found it excessive. We arrived at 5:25 and were told we had a few minutes to wait. We got seated at 6:20. No apologies, no complimentary snack or drink. We done here about once or twice every couple of months. It had always been a pleasant experience. The service is good not long wait time. We always get the prosciutto Pizza which is delicious. Other detergents are pretty good too. It does get busy on weekends it's very packed but there is plenty of parking. read more

We included in our reservation that we needed highchair so they gave us the private room that had only couple of tables, which was perfect away from all the people, noise and loud speakers. The server who was Nicole was pretty attentive, friendly, courteous, and we enjoyed talking about baby stuff because she had a baby of her own. ambience was great with wines displayed window cabinet . The lighting was perfect -My baby enjoyed looking at the lights which gave him a little bit of distraction so I could eat my five onion soup, which was delicious. We ordered the shrimp creole, the haddock with spice, the spring rolls and the truffle fries all amazing dishes. Copper door is always recommended for all occasions. I don't get the draw here. I have been several times as well as to private functions. You always need a reservation. The food is average in my opinion and overpriced. With that being said I am not a fan of chain restaurants. Recently had the tenderloin. This was not a $50 steak. Was tough and not cooked correctly. Asparagus was chewy and thick The seafood casserole had too many breadcrumbs to cover the little seafood that was in there. Was dry as well. The atmosphere is nice. Service was ok. We went on a Tuesday night and had an amazing dinner experience. Alfonzo was fantastic. Bread was fabulous. We had the grilled caesar salad and ahi tuna appetizer - phenomenal. (See photos) we had a surf and turf special and everything was very tasty. Steak was very flavorful. The highlight of our night was finding out that they do a military discount on Tuesdays .. 25% off the entire bill!! Having been to dozens of fine dining restaurants, I've never seen this before. My boyfriend is a veteran and this gave an already perfect dinner extra brownie points in our book. Speaking of sweets, the snickerdoodle crème brûlée was out of this world. We are already planning our next trip back! If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism it would be to have decanters for the wine. YUM! Everything my friends and I tried here was delicious, from the cocktails to the pizza to the meatloaf. Service was attentive, though I can't say having an iPad for only drinks was very efficient (ours kept dying, bad battery). The menu is fairly pricey, but I feel it was worth the price tag. One recommendation I have is to be clear on their yelp page/website about parking, it was not straightforward and getting stuck at that intersection light was a pain in the bum. read more

This place is amazing. The food is top notch, the drinks are incredible (and a large drink list too) and the staff are so friendly. The atmosphere is really nice too. We have been here too many times to count and it doesn't disappoint. Today we actually ordered take out for the first time and got two pizzas. One pizza was their Lemon Herb Chicken pizza which was a new menu option. I didn't think it sounded great but my husband wanted to try it. I have never had a better pizza in my life, no joke. Our first time here. We truly enjoyed everything g we ordered salmon, meatloaf and salad with chicken. They have. Great selection of wines which we enjoyed.
