I like that they open at 7 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. which makes it an ideal co-work spot, BUT it's metered parking out front and this town loves to hand out parking tickets so beware. After looking at the menu I went with the popular Spanish Latte and asked for oat milk. I will say I prefer their Spanish Latte over other places in the area and will be back for that, but I'm definitely going to try the rose latte next as they make their syrups in house. I stopped by around noon-ish and the only pastries they had were some sort of apple muffin and a donut so I skipped that. Didn't have to wait long and I was on my way. If you are in the DTSA area, give this place a chance! Parking close by (but metered) but worth every second. Ordered a rose latte, mayan mocha and matcha and let me say, the rose latte was crafted to perfection. Easily one of the top 3 things I have ever drank! Service was quick and this place might look small, but has a patio out back you can easily bring a pet or party of 6 to just hang. They also have a food menu, yum! I'm so glad this place is here, it's definitely appreciated knowing that there are still some knowledgeable and strong cafes and baristas out there. I've had Corazon Coffee a few times now. I've come for quick meetings and have brought my mom (she approved). Their matcha latte is excellent. Over gotten it with oat milk so it's a bit creamier and the matcha not as strong. Today I tried a vanilla latte. It's so delicious. I got it hot and with oat milk. I didn't need to make any sweetness adjustments. I totally recommend their espresso drinks. Previously I adjusted sweetness on my rose matcha but that's my personal preference. Super unique drinks! We got the Banzuelo shaken espresso which was great and had a strong, unique flavor. Had another peanut drink (forgot the exact name) which was too sweet but it was a flavor that I've never experienced before. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE: I love the drinks and pastries here, but this is more about the customer service. This is the second time the same male barista (gray wavy hair) has acted like he really doesn't want to be there. I ordered a quiche and a drink...got my drink right away, but after about 10 minutes I asked if my quiche was ready. He seemed to think I was just being impatient, but then realized they hadn't even put it in the microwave yet. He just said, very dryly, "it'll be two minutes," with no apology. When it finally was ready, it sat there for another five minutes before he slowly handed it over. You'd think since he knew the order was already delayed, he'd move a little quicker. read more

Corazon coffee bar is a VIBE! I was causally browsing the area for a new coffee spot and corazon caught my eye. Their drinks like the Spanish latte, como La flor and non coffee drinks are def pleasing to the eye. When I walked in I was actually surprised this isn't a typical coffee shop, it's a pop up coffee shop for a lack of a better way of describing. It was literally a coffee stand inside a bar. The vibe was a good time, and great exposure for the bar. I landed on the Spanish latte with almond milk and a yerba mate sunrise. Both drinks were around $13 and I def think you get a great bang for your buck, a large is big. I was wired from the Spanish latte for the rest of the day. The Spanish latte was a perfect balance of sweet with savory. I also really enjoyed the Yerba mate, it was a sparkling non coffee drink with sweet raspberry syrup , very yummy, but I'm more of a coffee drinkers. I do have the park mobile app that lets me know how much time I have left etc. it didn't let me pay so I assumed it was free parking. I asked inside what they recommended and went with the mazapan cold brew. They have a variety of drinks on their menu. They also have pastries. They offer WiFi. I saw this place on Instagram and wanted to give it a try. I got a buñuelo shaken espresso and a cinnamon pull apart. The coffee was delicious but the pull apart stole the show it was soooo good. I'm sad to say this because Corazon has been my go to spot since they were set up in the bar, but today I finally decided that I would no longer be getting my daily dose of caffeine from here. Over that last couple months my coffee has not been consistent, it's either watered down or bitter. For nearly $10 a cup, I am upset that it has continued to happen. I kept going with the hope that it would be as great, but it just hasn't. Tried a matcha the other day and it tasted like water.
