I had a flat tire and arrived at this shop at 4:40 PM. They officially close at 5 PM--plenty of time, I thought. But they told me they were closed and refused to help. I was struggling with my lug nuts, and I pointed out they still had 20 minutes until closing. They just flat out denied me. Paid for an alignment for my truck and they didn't align correctly. Don't waste your time

Charged me for balancing, didnt balance them at all. I even confronted them, told me they didnt need balancing, when the machine was displaying an error. I've been getting tire repairs, mounts and balances here for years. My most recent visit the mechanic who mounted my tires put the wheels on the machine, it spun up and stopped right away.. and he removed the wheel to install on my vehicle. After 2 of them I confronted him asking why he didnt add any weights, he said it was "already balanced, its good". Then he proceeded to put the wheel back on the machine and show me.. the machine displayed an error "Check wheel or tire for damage". Which means it didnt even calculate if the tire was balanced. He said that error meant no weights were needed, it was balanced. I paid for 4 tires and a spare to be mounted and balanced. 5 days later I went to Discount Tire, I had tire warranty on the tires there and was still experiencing a vibration, but thought maybe one of the rims was bad. They pulled all 4 wheels and checked them. All 4 were not balanced correctly. After Discount Tire rebalanced them the vibration went away. I could have gone back to complain, but for what? the problem was fixed now, but I was out the money. I knew I was going to need some other work soon, and figured Id bring it up then. I returned yesterday, yes its been 2 months, but I had receipts from both Discount Tire and Cordova. When I brought it to their attention, the mechanic denied it had ever happened. Acted like this was all a story I made up. Said if I said someone else had done that.. maybe.. but not him.. The cashier said there was nothing he could do. Had I come in earlier they could have fixed it. To which I replied, why? I confronted him before I even left. I knew it wasn't right. I went elsewhere to confirm it, after that there was nothing to fix. Then he looked at the Discount Tire receipt and said "they fixed it for free", and acted like there was no reason I should be mad about anything because I didnt have to pay to get it fixed by another place. His next comment was that they would have refunded me, which I highly doubt. I told them I just wanted a discount on the services I needed today. An alignment, since I paid for services last time that weren't done right. He made a face, smushed his lips together and just said "nothing I can do for you".. Didnt care I had been a customer for a long time. didnt care I had receipts that showed I took it elsewhere, didnt care that I wasnt asking for money back. I just wanted the company to make up for the screwup, whatever that was, I wasn't even blaming the mechanic. In fact I've tipped these guys in the past for taking care of me so quick. I left totally disgusted, I wont be going back, I had referred people there in the past. But I saw the signs about "must have receipt for warranty" so I made sure to keep it. It was the first clue I probably wasn't going to get anywhere with them if I came back. So I just took it where I knew they would do it right, so I could confirm what the problem was. The guy at the register honestly didnt give a crap. No manager, no owner, told me to come back tomorrow.. I wont be coming back at all. The signage with prices was also wrong, and the cashier told me the mechanics set the price. read more

I have a really old car that needs a lot of work. This is the 3rd time I've been to cordova, and I won't take my car anywhere else. I have had two of the mechanics work on my car, both have done really great work. This latest visit, Lalo did the work and was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained to me in a way i could understand how my car works and even though the price was already reasonable, he worked with me to make it even more affordable. I am very happy with the work that has been done. My the tow truck my insurance company went through, actually towed my car to the wrong place, and Cordova went and got it for me without charging me. I really love this place, I highly recommend them for mechanic work and tow services. read more

my car was in their shop 3 times within a week and a half, for the same problem. Total over $1300.00. Problem never solved, car broke down again, had it towed to another mechanic, it was a simple fix, loose bolt that needed tightening, cost $25.00. also I had asked them to tow my car early in the morning the 3 rd time it broke down, nothing all day, then I was told it would be a $120.00 fee to tow it, I told them never mind I'll have AAA tow it. When AAA came to tow the car they said it wasn't there, so I called Cordova and asked them if they towed it after I told them no, and yes they did. They refused to not charge me for a tow so I was charged the $120.00 for the tow, and almost $300.00 for 1 ignition coil that took 4 days to be put in. I lost a weeks worth of wages, and the problem was never actually fixed untill I took it to another mechanic. If I could give 0 stars I would, only gave 1 star because it's the only option I had. read more

Had a tire needed to repair. Pep Boys turned me down said they were too busy for a 10 minute repair. Went to Cordova and was in and out in 15 minutes. Price was better than quoted by Pep Boys by a significant margin. Thank you for the fast and quality repair. read more

I came in with a blown tire. They helped me quickly at 5:15 on a Thursday. They were extremely professional and kind while helping me.

I got the worst service possible , they said they would swap 2 of my tires and instead lost my caps for my wheels, lost 3 out of 5 lug nuts for each wheel , broke 2 BRAND NEW ABS sensor's , and broke my tire pressure sensors all while supposedly changing 2 tires.. i will never refer you people out to anyone I know cause I could of been killed with my children , which this establishment supports people getting seriously hurt cause of their mess up that it does not matter unless it's them or someone they know ... read more

Wish we would have read all these reviews of this terribly run operation sooner. My son was gifted a car from his grampa, who had taken it there many times over the years but luckily to one person there (Santos), apparently the only competent one from seeing all these reviews. No wonder he is always the most backed up with work. Son needed brake pads changed soon so he took it in and someone else there replaced them. So far that is ok. Then took it in for creaking sound in the steering and was told a sway bar link was cracked so that was done. The same creaking sound came back so he took it back again and they then told him it needed new control arms and tie rods. Was told that would fix it. They called and said it was ready but turns out it wasn't so we waited before them finally telling him a tire was flat (It wasn't flat when he brought it in) so they said they would fix it. So he waited even longer, after we had already paid, then after further waiting it turns out they didn't even bother to let him know it had been ready, leaving us sitting there 2 hours until I finally walked out there to ask. Most of them barely speak a lick of English and just yelled "Office!" at me while smirking. I finally just went and called my son out from the waiting area and he got in and drove the car out, with them just standing there saying nothing. Next day the creaking noise was still there so he took it back in. They then said the creaking was due to something else this time - bad struts/mounts which were done 3 years ago. So they apparently didn't bother to check it to make sure the creaking issue he took it in for, was resolved. The worst part was when they returned the car to him it was covered in bird sh*t and front bumper was clipped and scuffed with red mark and some dried liquid near the back window. He asked about it and they dismissively said there are birds in the bay then claimed it was probably my son who hit the bumper when backing it out of the bay - that seems off, and why would they make customers pull their cars out of the work bays? Do not come here!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. First when I came to get my car they had misplaced my keys. The keys were in a tow truck across town and my car never even got towed. Then I come back to get a sensor put on a catalytic converter and they find out the guy here put the converter in backwards!!! So now I am expected to pay $80 to a new mechanic or wait 1 hour for the other one to get back from lunch. Save yourself the frustration. read more

I had the extended warranty on my car and I really don't know if it was the engine they fix my car without a written consent & put a lien on my car saying I ask them to fix and would not pay, which is not true. they send me stating that they fix the tire rods and it was falsely signed with my name. I never signed it. then they went to the DMV and put the car in their name. I am still trying to fight this matter and I can see by the comments that I am not the first person they have lied to. I am in the act of bring criminal actions against them. I am a Retired Army Vet & there are a lot of military people that does business with this company! they needs to stopped!!! Read the reviews, people. Wish I did. This place is a dump. I called for a flat fix. Was told 10 to 15 mins over the phone. I waited 30 without anyone even taking a look. They dgaf. The parking is terrible, they give bs excuses for their incompetence, their communication with each other is even a joke. They didn't even have the decency to give me a revised eta after I arrived. Was almost IMPOSSIBLE to get more than ONE WORD out of an employee. Do not waste your time here. 1s time. Went to get a wheel replaced. Even though they measured my old rim, when I went home and placed the new rim, it did not fit the car-lugs matched but but it didn't sit properly. Returned it and this time they gave me one that did fit. 2nd time I went, I left the car there overnight to have them replace a strut and get an alignment. They were able to complete it in one day and quote me half what others were going to charge me. So far so good. I took my Land Rover to #5 starting and just needing one thing fixed. It lead to oh it's your battery, now it's your starter, the electrical system is messed up. He had my car for a whole month then he said it wouldn't start. And that there was a key problem. The interior leather of my car is normally tan now it's blackened, my seats, the door panels , my carpet and the mats. Didn't bother cleaning it up after they ruined it. I had it towed from there to the dealership the dealership told me that he messed up my vehicle. Moral of the story: thank you George at #5 for lying to us and making us believe that you could work on Land Rovers. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to any of these Cardova places. read more

I was gifted a car that was serviced here 10/20/22 new breaks, tires, and ac system. The A/C system blows cold so it's doing it's job, but the brakes oh lord NO! Not even 20 days in and they're grabbing like a grandma who hasn't seen her grandchildren for years, the whole front of the car rattles if you brake going over 40, I have a warranty so I'll be taking it in and hopefully they can actually fix the problem this time instead of giving me a new one. Also the girl that answers the phone there is terrible, hung up on me 3 separate times and when I finally got her to talk and not just end the call her response wasn't helpful at all and did me no good. The service is the worst. First thing the guy said when I got there was that he was gonna do the job with no "chingaderas" involved. YET I had to go back the very next day cause my tire went flat after he switched o my tires. Really? And then he wanted to charge me for another service which should have been part of the first service.. If you're a woman and don't know much about cars, either take someone who is familiar with the work or has experience with you so that they don't try to over charge you for services. Although I mostly recommend to stay away from this place! Even my brother who has been there multiple times complains about their terrible service and work. read more

I am very dissatisfied with the clutch repair performed on my Chevy Silverado. It was dropped off on a Monday and work was not started until Friday afternoon. It was released to me incomplete with a leak in the hydraulic system; I barely made it home. On inspection, there was clutch fluid leaking and two bellhousing bolts missing. They "fixed it" a week later my car started making the same noise, went back and they said my other side of my car broke. They "fixed it" charged me and after I paid said that they didn't fix what I asked for and had to spend more money to fix what I fucking went there for. I will never take my car here again! I was initially quoted a certain price for repairs, paid it, picked up my car, and not even a block away, it started knocking hard and stopped running. It had never done that before I took it in for minor repairs. They made up some bs story about a part going bad coincidentally that very day and it would be another $200 to fix it. Since my once running car was no longer working and I did not want to pay to have it towed elsewhere, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and told them to fix it. I go pick it up four days later as agreed, and my car was not there. Go back early the next morning, the car is still not there. They tell me its in "storage" for safekeeping and they'll be able to get it in another 5 hours. At this point I started giving them a piece of my mind, and a very rude lady and mechanic start arguing with me like I'm at fault for not having patience. As I'm walking out, I see someone driving my car into their shop. One day after $700 worth of repairs, the car is doing exactly what it did when I first took it in. They did not address the original problem. I am convinced someone drove my car for the four days it was there. The car was filthy inside with grease on the upholstery, mirrors, glove compartment (and the papers inside), back seats, everywhere! Plus, 143 extra miles on the odometer than when I dropped it off! Yes, I took a picture before I left it. Stay away from this place! Btw, I'm a young looking woman and the way the entire staff was talking down to me, I believe this had something to do with the way I was treated. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! I'm from out of town I brought my car in on a Thursday. I already knew what was wrong with my car I just wanted to bring it in have the issues confirmed get an estimate & get it fixed. I had to drive back to WI. The person helping me said that it would be a little while before someone can take a look at it so I decided to leave my vehicle there then get with the auto store the next day. It wasn't until after 1 PM as when I finally spoke to someone about what was wrong with my vehicle I hurried to the parts store to get the parts that I needed and I dropped my parts off for my vehicle to get fixed; from what I understand this job was only supposed to take about an hour and a half it is now Saturday morning and I was supposed to leave last night and I'm still waiting to hear something back about my vehicle at this point I'm just going to go pick it up. Dont spend your time and money here. Took my car and they quoted me for a fuel pump parts and labor for $850. I decided to take my own pump and just pay for labor. After Rudy installed the brand new fuel pump, my car was in the condition as when their owner Rogelio towed me to their shop. Rudy might as well have a crystal ball back there and guessing at what could be wrong with cars. These people are not mechanics/technicians, they are part changers at best. Took it back the same day and another mechanic that works there took a look and had no idea why the first guy cut some hoses. I took my Lincoln navigator to the shop to have them look at my brake calipers because it was rubbing on my rim. they than came back and said I needed spacers on my my calipers So I told them I never need it spacers on my calipers before then they said you need them now so they charge me $260 to put spaces on my calipers and paint them all red. That same day I took it home when I hit the brake the truck went to one side so than I take it back to them to see what is wrong they than tell me my brakes were Supposedly put on reverse idk how that is possible but regardless of the fact I told them to check the brakes and calipers to make sure they were put on correctly the first time I came to the shop so that should've been done the first time.So they charge me an extra $50 to correct what was supposed to be corrected in the beginning. Then three days later my wife is driving down the road at 45 miles an hour and the passenger side front caliper explodes because of the spacer. I had the truck towed To their shop talk to the manager worked out a deal where I had to pay for the parts and they will cover the labor. My custom 24 inch rims war destroyed I had to take the Lost on those but at least I will get my car back on the road.The nightmare does not in there though after I get my truck back three days later everything seem to be OK I put new rims on my truck start driving it two week goes by and my check engine light comes on and starts blinking. So I pull over in my truck starts to shake so I turn it off right away go under the hood check my oil and my oil is almost gone so I think they took almost all of the oil out of my engine as retaliation my truck has no oil leaksAs well. Diesel mechanics are going to run this shop to the ground and also needs to be investigated some under covers need to send some cars in or something to get This BS to stop.
