Turkey, ham and Swiss cheese minus the cheese with the works - no onions served on French bread and Greek mayo instead of regular. It's just so oily and good. Oooweee! Usually you can find street parking and it's not a crazy busy restaurant either. They're pretty fast and they're from NY so just yell out your order and they'll start working on it.

When I'm working in ATL I will visit this place each time I'm here.

Overall, both sandwiches are delicious but could use some ratio tweaking. I'll be back to work through the rest of their rotating menu.

I was in Atlanta for a conference and needed a quick lunch, so I stopped by this spot across the street from the Hyatt--thinking it'd be a fast option. I was wrong. It gets super busy during lunch, likely because of all the nearby businesses. If you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend coming during peak hours. My order was to-go and still took quite a while. Customer service was just okay--nothing to rave about, but I get it, they were slammed. On the plus side, the place was clean, and I noticed staff consistently going around wiping down tables and keeping things tidy. The food itself was good, no complaints there. Just don't expect a quick grab-and-go if you're short on time. read more

Bacon was rubbery. Eggs had no flavor. Hot latte was served cold with gritty pieces floating around. WiFi wouldn't connect. Staff was pleasant so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. But seriously, go elsewhere to get a good meal. read more

Be courteous and aware as exiting your vehicle. We were greeted as we walked in. I think there is a QR code to be put on the waitlist to the right, but we were seated right away. Seating is mostly booths with some stools at the counter. There are a couple small tables at the front of the building looking out to the street. I think there is also seating on the other side of the main seating area. Our server brought us physical menus, but you can also scan a QR code to bring the menu up on your phone. She took our drink orders and returned with them quickly. She also pointed out the daily specials on the chalkboard behind us when she brought the menus, which was a nice touch. We placed our order and waited no more than 15 minutes for the food to be brought to the booth. The chorizo scramble special was outstanding. The chorizo was very flavorful, the other ingredients fresh and crisp, and there was enough cheese to add flavor without making the scramble heavy. The accompanying fried potatoes were cooked perfectly and the multigrain biscuit was exceptional. There were small containers of apple butter on the table that made the biscuit into a memorable experience. The pancake special comes with two eggs, bacon, and grits. The plate-sized pancakes are fluffy and seem to have a malt flavor, the eggs were cooked as ordered, and even the toast was notable. The grits were creamy without turning to jello as they cooled. The build your own plate of French toast, pancake, and bacon was also excellent. The French toast slice was thick and large. Added to the large pancake, this was a filling meal. The bacon is good and was cooked as ordered. They must have a code system, as the server who took the order was not the one who brought the food to our table. Without needing to ask, each plate was placed in front of the person who placed the order. No confusion, just a well-run service that adds to the overall experience. While the ambient noise can get a little high, it is all conversation and laughter. This is a lively diner with outstanding friendly service and amazingly good food. Two thumbs up for Thumbs Up!
