The waited for quite a bit for a table, but that's expected for a party of our size and when we can't make reservations - but didn't mind given our experience. It was the first nice day we've had in a while so that helped with waiting outside too. The parking lot was a bit tight but workable. The interior makes you feel like you're at the intersection of a friend's home and a classic diner. The fireplace kept us toasty and decorations added to the ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress, (and all of the staff that stopped over to say hello) were welcoming and very sweet. They were attentive and patient especially with the kids. The food was excellent - well above what you'd expect for breakfast fare. The kids enjoyed eggs/toast/bacon, pancakes and chicken fingers (which the adults sampled all and were great!). The rest of us had bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, porchetta and egg sandwich, and side of corned beef hash. We're still talking about how good everything was a few days later. The coffee was great - hot and fresh. Portions were generous and the quality was superb. Even something as simple and common as the breakfast burrito was on another level here. I had the porchetta and egg sandwich and the corned beef hash. If you're thinking of something different than the typical breakfast sandwich - definitely go for this. The pork and cheese added a familiar but new spin on a classic egg sandwich and the green goose hot sauce added the perfect amount of heat. The corned beef hash had a perfect consistency and was clearly fresh made. What's more impressive is that they recently reopened after a fire - we would've never known. Highly recommend stopping here if you can - we'll definitely be back!

two star update, sorry goose, youre no phoenix…read more oy, where to start, well, catering wise, the new version of the menu is a shred of what was. we used them in the past for summer catering and then it was good, we ordered a few specialty sandwiches that really stood out, this time, mids. ill tell you what really got my goat this time. we ordered several hundreds of dollars of sandwiches for pick up this weekend, good to plan ahead. my schedule had changed, i was driving out from 3 hours away and was going to get the goods, but since i was ahead on time, i had the boss call over to check if we could move up the order. no problem, ready in 20 minutes she was told, which was great since i was coming in HOT and wanted to get the order to be able to get back to the house to prepare for 60 guests. Well despite getting there at the new agreed time, i sat soaked still from my hot ride (drove with the windows open instead of AC, didnt need my car breaking down on such an important day!) and sat and sat in their to go area FOR AN HOUR waiting for this supposed early pick up. not at anytime was i offered a glass of water, snack or an apology until the owner came out and let me know that no one let him know the new time. i sat there and watched the ladies stare at me, mutter (and eat) things behind the counter and again took their time while i sat and waited. i saw people come in, order, eat, pay, leave and i was still sitting there, highly unprofessional and therefore i felt you need to know how the mighty have fallen. in sum, our favorite sandwiches arent a thing anymore (no more red pepper spread or pineapple chutney for the pig kahuna) and they really just didnt give a duck.
