I first met Mary about a year ago when she was working at Polished Nail Salon. Before her, I could not settle on a technician due to the unfortunate fact that I could not find a nail artist who could greatly execute the service I look for on a bi-weekly basis-acrylic nails & regular (& sometimes gel) nail polish. All of the previous techs I encountered fell short in one way or another. They were never gentle with me, were always in a hurry to finish, would do a mediocre job, & overall just did not seem very passionate about me or their careers. I wanted to point that out because Mary is the exact opposite!!!! She is super gentle, takes her time, loves to chat with me, and blows me away every time she does my nails. I already knew I wanted to be her client halfway through our first appointment. The beauty industry is her calling. Not often do you find someone who is both a perfectionist, but is also very quick at doing pretty much dead-on PERFECT nails. You can tell she loves what she does & is very skilled & experienced. She is an expert at creating any nail shape you want & has mastered both gel & regular polish. I've honestly never had polish this smooth & streak-free. You'll know what I'm talking about when you try her. On top of all that, it's important to her that she makes YOU happy. I've had other nail techs rudely insist that I run with another shape or another color in the past. Not Mary. She has her own style, but she works hard to give you what you ask for, gives great & detailed explanations for any of her recommendations, & goes above & beyond to please you. She understands your taste & always makes sure she's stocked with colors that fit you & your personality. Know that you will not be disappointed. Last month, Mary moved to Simplicity Salon on Rainbow & Sunset. It was a no-brainer that I would follow her. She has her own private spa room now & being her client has been more relaxing & more enjoyable than ever. I've started getting my eyebrows done by her as well & they are nothing short of clean, beautiful, & well-structured. Mary is one of the most amazing and talented nail artist I've found here. Not only is she kind and beautiful from the inside out but her work is amazing. I have been getting my nails and toes done with Mary for 8 months now and they always look great. I get the gel nails and toes. They always last 2 and 3 weeks and still look great even after cleaning with them on. You CANNOT go wrong with the quality and expertise that Mary has with doing your nails and pedicures. I have gotten a gel manicure by many people here and Mary is by far the best I have went to. One issue I have always had is that they always leave a tiny space between the gel and my cuticle but Mary leaves no space and they always look great! I highly recommend Mary for your nails! read more
