Good food, We went with the family and kids and had lots of fun. They have Karaoke night and a dance floor. The service was amazing too, everyone welcomed us and make us feel special. Can wait to go back again.

Stopped by this place on a Saturday night, during a company Christmas party. And it was awesome. They had live music band that played cumbia , salsa and merengue. We were politely greeted at the door by the owner and received a vip table in the front of the dance floor. We were a party of seven, and they did not have any problems seating us. We also tried the platano Fritos con crema, which was amazing. Thank you Elise for making our evening amazing!

Mostly regulars on a Friday night!! They play some fan favorites and before Karaoke ends they hog a lot the mic. A fight broke out while we were there and I believe it was with a woman named "Elsa". It took 5 men to escort a little man out, we couldn't leave as the door was barricaded. The dinning was pressured and it was slow. There is a 15 dollar entrance fee for the music. The food was not that great, We have the appetizer which was meh okay, the tacos were drenched in lettuce and the tacos tico were drenched in thousand island sauce. The bistec was better than the rest of the dishes.

$20 coverage if you're trying to dance and have dinner. That $20 just covers you and your date to come in, you also have to order food or drinks. I think the $20 is for weekends and Fridays only. They have a live band and DJ, with the dance floor open to dance. I honestly think it's well worth the $20 if you're into dancing Cumbia, Salas, bachata, etc. Most of the crowd is older married adults who just love dancing. You don't have to worry about seeing someone "drop it to the floor" or "twerk" their way to the dance floor. This is a classy place where you can vibe with the band and just listen, or dance the night away with your date. This place is definitely our go-to spot when me and the lady feel like dancing. We don't have to worry about the "young shenanigans" like at other places around the OC. The only problem I have is that if you don't feel hungry or don't want to drink alcohol, they will charge you $5 for a Costco water bottle. I guess a part of that goes to the occupying of the table. Oh well, the other stuff definitely out weighs everything else.

This is my 2nd time coming here within a week. I came by to pick my to go order. Lily helped me. She was extremely courteous and the food and charges were all correct. I stayed for a bit to check out the live band. It was great. Dining with entertainment is a plus. She gave me free coffee and refills, and she helped put my creamer and sugar while I checked out the band who was pretty good although I don't understand everything they are saying (Spanish). I am still learning. A gentleman came to my table to welcome me. They have a bar where most people were sitting. The dance floor only had one couple dancing but will probably fill up a little later. There is plenty of free parking here. I'll be back again to try that dance floor.

Scotty took what was already a great date night and made it truly memorable. Not only was he the best server we've had since we started dining at Puesto, but I'd go so far as to say he was one of the best servers I've ever had anywhere. Scotty had a calm, understated demeanor that was part of his charm. He was genuine, attentive, extraordinarily kind, and somehow managed to keep my Diet Coke with lime full the entire evening. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and was always there at just the right moment. Best of all, he laughed at my dad jokes. While the food was outstanding, Scotty made the experience even better. His service elevated an already great meal into an exceptional evening. We will absolutely be requesting Scotty's section every time we visit Puesto Anaheim.

We came in with our daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and has very specific food preferences and sensory needs. As we have done on previous visits, we brought food from McDonald's for her so that she could comfortably eat while we enjoyed our meal. We explained this to our waiter and let him know that we have always been allowed to do this in the past because of our daughter's special needs. Unfortunately, the waiter refused to allow our daughter to eat her food and repeatedly stated that his manager, Angel, made the rules. Despite explaining our situation and our long history as customers, there was no effort to accommodate us or show any understanding. What makes this even more disappointing is that we have been coming here for years and have spent a significant amount of money supporting this restaurant. Our family meals would often total close to $200, and we were regular customers who genuinely enjoyed dining here. It was upsetting to see that our loyalty seemed to mean nothing and that no consideration was given to our daughter's circumstances. Rather than make our daughter uncomfortable or cause a scene, we chose to leave. As parents of a child on the spectrum, we expected a little compassion and understanding. Instead, we felt unwelcome and dismissed. We are extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled and, sadly, after years of being loyal customers, we will not be coming back.

I was curious after reading some of the positive reviews. I ordered the revuelta and chicken with cheese. Both had great flavors and would consider getting them again. The flavorful, crispy empanadas were among my favorites. I got the carne (beef) and spinach with cheese empanadas and loved them. The perfectly fried shell and flavorful filling. Their Salvadoran tamales are prepared in the traditional style, with a flavorful filling and soft, moist masa, wrapped in banana leaves rather than corn husks. I love Mexican-style tamales (especially homemade), so this was a new experience trying Salvadoran-style tamales. I think most people will order takeout, but there's a moderately sized dining area with tables. It has a local feel and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was kind and provided great service. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. I still can't believe I waited this long to visit Nancy's. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Note: There is a little charge for using credit cards, so cash would be better if you want to avoid the CC charge.
