$10.99 Burger Tuesdays.... This is an amazing value!

$10.99 Burger Tuesdays!!!! Any single Patty Burger on the menu, including a patty melt, excellent crispy french fries and a large drink. This is an amazing value and the burgers are excellent, the fries are great and the sodas are huge with plenty of refills. Service is exceptional! Love Country Kitchen!

Came here for the first time and wish we had stopped by here sooner. Unlike the Grizzly Manor cafe, the atmosphere is much more homely/cozy and not as loud. Really great food, amazing service (thanks Eman) and clearly a locals hangout which is nice to see. Parking lot was full when we got here but we didn't have to wait. Plenty of seating. Pancakes and biscuits + gravy were a hit. We like everything we had in our group of four. Highly recommend and also love that this is away from the busy village.

Came here for breakfast on Memorial Day weekend, got there early and good thing because there was a long wait after we sat down. It's a cute small cafe and very family friendly. Service was a little slow and for being so packed there wasn't many servers. Coffee tasted very watery and our Food did take a while which is the reason I knocked off a star. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious! It came with a huge pancake and that was also delicious and so good! My hubby ordered the meatloaf which he said was ok but the mash potatoes were inedible. They tasted and looked like they were powdered from a box. Our friends had the chicken steak and regular breakfast and they really enjoyed their meal too. Good place for breakfast.

Came here for breakfast one morning while visiting Big Bear Lake and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little distance from the main strip and it has a decent size parking lot. Kate was our waitress and she was a joy to deal with. Very helpful and in addition to taking our order, she gave us some visitor recommendations for our weekend. I was so impressed with the food and menu. Very unique items on the menu and reasonably priced for the large portion size that they give you. I had the Cordon Bleu crepes and my friend had the Santa Fe skillet. Both were delicious. We'll definitely come back here on our next visit.

    Speciality coffee menu.

Breakfast at Country Kitchen was in full swing when we arrived -- the kind of morning bustle where coffee cups clink, servers move at a near-balletic pace, and the scent of bacon does most of the marketing. Sad to see its doors have closed permanently. THE FOOD. - Bacon Avocado Ranch Omelette. A generous fold of eggs packed with applewood-smoked bacon and Swiss, brightened by fresh slices of avocado and capped with a drizzle of house-made ranch. Indulgent, yes -- but with just enough freshness to keep it honest. - Farm Skillet. A hearty plate designed to silence even the loudest of appetites: two eggs any style perched over a bed of seasoned hash browns, mingling with chopped sausage, onion, and green peppers. Rustic, filling, and satisfying. THE DRINK. - Coffee. Bold and much needed after a night of drinking. THE PARKING. The restaurant offered a generous surface lot that stretched out behind the building. Free, easy, and refreshingly unremarkable.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! By far, the absolute BEST food at Big Bear Lake! Ask for Ernesto when you go. He went out of his way to make everything wonderful for us! Also worth mentioning, it's the cleanest restaurant around. (Seriously, everywhere else was just sticky and gross. Not here! This restaurant actually understands the assignment). The hash browns were amazing! Fresh cooked. The eggs were perfect. True "farm fresh". The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked. The bacon omelette was out of this world delicious! The pancakes nice and fluffy. Oh, and super yummy biscuits and gravy! Very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. And again, the BEST service in town! Can't wait to come back! "Thank you, Ernesto for your warm hospitality!"

Chill with good company and a good meal

The server Rosie was great! The place was cozy and comfortable. She was very helpful on with questions and recommendations. I checked yelp and didn't see steak and eggs and she was correct, it was delicious. I should have taken the pic before I started eating lol

However I ordered their back country burrito and it was average at best. Heavy on the egg and pico. There was hardly any bacon in it. And they didn't have hot sauce. I also got their August cold brew and it was pretty watered down. The flavors tasted a bit off. In addition the burrito was nearly $17 and the coffee was about $7. I definitely overpaid. And to The Copper Q.... When visiting Big Bear this past winter (February 2026), I had one of your soups that will end all soups! It was creamy... It was Hot... And it made my tastebuds dance with joy!! The only bad thing about it.... I couldn't get enough of it, and to save my life, I can't tell you what the name of it was... (See my photo below for reference) Was it cream of chicken? Was it cream of mushroom?? Was it cream of heaven??? All I know, it was damn Delicious!!! Besides the soup, we also got some kind of specialty coffee for us, along with some cake pops & hot chocolates for the kids which they enjoyed. Apparently this place makes a mean Vietnamese Pho that everyone seems to give props to; I might just give it a spin next time though. Besides the soups & coffees, the Copper Q has a wide selection of baked goods, and other breakfast & lunch specialties. The city of Big Bear was poppin' the weekend we visited and it seemed like the Copper Q was the place to be because it too was packed. So if you find yourself in the area, definitely come check this place out for yourself.

More Than A Meal - It's A Big Bear Staple You Can't Miss!…read more The Lumberjack Cafe isn't just our favorite breakfast spot in Big Bear; it is a vital part of our yearly traditions. For years now, we have planned my annual bday trip and April getaways to Big Bear Lake with Lumberjack Cafe ensuring a spot first on every itinerary. Honestly we look forward to sitting inside or outside this cafe just as much as the actual vacation itself. What makes this place truly magical is the people. Alecia is hands-down the best server we have ever had anywhere...PERIOD. Over the years she has transitioned from a familiar face to a dear who even remembers my order (I'm going to have to start switching it up more lol). Seeing her daughter, Aleka, carry on that same legacy of amazing, warm service that makes it feel like watching family grow. The food is consistently phenomenal and mouth-watering. My absolute must-have is the chocolate chip waffle which is packed with flavor, though the eggs Benedict is a very close second (they should market that Hollandaise sauce). My husband tries a variety of dishes and every single item he orders is a home run! Because they close at 2pm it is the ultimate neighborhood breakfast spot. As mountain visitors, we sometimes worry about how our favorite local spots survive the unpredictable winter seasons and we pray for this business to prosper for decades to come. If you are a traveler visiting Big Bear, you absolutely need to eat here. It will elevate your mountain experience, and like us, you will find yourself returning every single time you come back to the area. Thank you to Alecia & the entire Lumberjack Cafe Family/Team whose hard work and heart are quite apparent in every aspect of running a beloved local establishment. Finally, a special thank you to Alecia (and this time Aleka as well), for making another trip so unforgettable!!!

When we stopped in the line was extremely long, which is great for the local businesses. The store has three unique sections. Ice cream, candy, chocolate, gummy, worms, etc., and caramel apples. I'm not sure if the employee was happy with us, but we ordered from every section. It almost seemed like he wanted us to go back and get in line to order from a new section but we didn't. I had peanut butter and chocolate on a cake cone that was outstanding. The wife had chocolate chip on a sugar cone and she also enjoy it. The grandkids had a variety of different flavors and I have to assume they enjoyed it because there was none left. The daughter ordered a caramel apple with some topping on it that she thoroughly enjoyed. She also ordered an extra one that was sliced that she shared with all of us. It had caramel and nuts on it. Very tasty. We also ordered different chili, flavored gummy worms and gummy rings. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed. In addition, had to try out the chocolates.
