I've been meaning to stop by and try this place out and I'm so glad I finally did! Their iced lavender latte is incredible. The lavender is subtle and doesn't take away from the espresso flavors. Snagged the last order of egg bites and they were also a hit. Prices are comparable to Starbucks but this place is so much better! I LOVE this coffee shop!! Absolutely the best coffee in town, and the CUTEST shop, with a comfortable and relaxing vibe. The staff is over the top so sweet, and are always so accommodating and helpful, and greet you with a warm smile. So my daughters & I were super excited to visit for the Harry Potter themed week & we were disappointed :( I ordered my order through their site at 9:50 am & waited an hour for my coffee even after choosing "As soon as possible." Cloud 9 makes a mean cup o' Joe! However, I do have a couple complaints that perhaps you guys can address in the future: 1. the cold drinks are served in a rather cheap-feeling cold cup made of extremely thin plastic. I do understand the need to keep costs down, but you guys probably would get more favorable reviews and perhaps even more business if you used higher quality cold cups (I know I would have given you 5 stars!), and that leads into my second complaint: 2. your hot drinks aren't served at a hot enough temperature, at least they don't stay hot long enough. I don't know why that is, because your hot cups seem to be normal, adequate quality. However, all of that said, you make an extremely good cup of coffee (especially your Andes Mint Mocha). Oh, and lastly, your prices do seem to be a bit higher than most coffee joints around here (and off of the top of my head, all I can think of that I frequent is Starbucks), but that's a minor concern. It just means I have to specifically budget in my stops at your place (but that's ok, I still will). Thank you for your business opening, I plan to keep coming! read more

Anyways I L O V E lavender coffee coming from LA, so when I found this I decided I can def' retire in Bakos. I haven't tried their Julep Coffee, I will soon but I am assuming its a version of Philz Coffee (yelp it). Lastly they work with UBER EATS, can life get any better. This coffee shop is filled with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. They are ecofriendly and I didn't even notice the difference until my friend told me. The most unique part about the shop is the way they use the coffee cups which are glass jars you can take home with you or bring back to get 25 cents back. Another awesome thing about the cups is that you get 15 cents off if you bring back the cup to get more coffee. The pastries are super tasty and go really well with the coffee served. I love my go to coco creme latte with oat milk!! The coffee tastes just right. Not burnt just perfectly smooth!! The coconut taste is very refreshing and not overly sweet. I usually get it to go but wish I had the time to sit and enjoy my coffee here. As for the review below leaving one star for them allowing people inside, mind your business and support your local businesses instead of tearing them down!! What other people do should not concern you nor give reason to lower stars for this business. Places are shutting down left and right and your review could be what shuts places down or keeps them going so they'll be here when this all blows over. Nice coffee joint that isn't a chain. It's located in a business building with banking and such. Decent selection of regular and seasonal drinks. The milk is outstanding. Weird comment to make, but truly, you can taste the difference of all of the ingredients in the drinks. Had a caramel blonde latte over light ice along with a browned butter blondie. The girls working were friendly, drinks were made quick and were able to enjoy them on their patio. Highly recommend if you are near by. read more

Went to try this place for the first time and wasn't impressed. It took 25 minutes for 3 drinks and no one had ordered ahead of us. You couldn't go into the store. My party of 3 and another lady tried going through the door and it was locked. One of the workers just kept pointing and we were looking behind us. Then finally realized there was a sign on the door saying how to order. That process was annoying and time consuming. Says you couldn't go in the store but there were 2 people inside talking to them and having coffee and had their cards out to pay so not sure what that was about. We all 3 enjoyed the coffees we had but we won't be back. The girl who came behind us must have worked upstairs and came down on her break but had to leave because her break was over and her coffee still wasn't made. We got our coffee 27 minutes later. Also, no mention on the Facebook or anywhere I could find that says no dine in. I drove across town to try this place only to not be able to go inside. Cornerstone bakery I know has goodies they sell here and I wanted some but couldn't go inside to see what danishes were offered. Very disappointed read more

I'm a fan of my iced latte with cinnamon & carmel but the gourmet toast was fabulous. I ordered the peanut butter toast with bananas, honey & toasted coconut. Very delicious and filling! Cloud 9 has the BEST coffee in general in town - hands down. The coffee beans and blends they use have incredible flavor alone, and then paired with their drinks/syrups makes for a really delicious treat! The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful and ALWAYS have a smile on their face, even in the midst of a rush. They work hard and make you feel so welcomed. The coffee shop itself is also an incredible place to host dates (first date was here), Bible studies, and also work or study. They provide a variety of different seating arrangements and options too, so even if you want to sink in to a cozy couch to enjoy your drink in house, or need a table set up for a laptop, they have it all! Not to mention this place is CLEAN CLEAN!! Looks brand new still! I wish I could go here every day, but being able to buy the beans and syrups for home is such a blessing too. Keep it up girls!! I have been meaning to review this little jewel of Bakersfield! I will tell you I loved the setup and decor! Great use of a trailer/camper, if you are a coffee fan I recommend to try this place out! Fast friendly service and everything was so clean! I can appreciate how clean the coffee shop is considering it's a trailer turned coffee shop! Ok, I had the iced coffee julep and at first I'll admit it sounded odd to me, mint and I forgot what else lol something earthy(basil). At first sip it was nice and refreshing as the basil flavor hit your palette! Earthy and minty mixed with slight bitterness of coffee, let me just say I was pleasantly surprised! So good! I will get this drink again and actually I would make my way there tomorrow morning.. Downside: I wish it was open a little later and would move locations on the weekends possibly? I love love this place! I usually order a coffee after walking my dog around the neighborhood. Staff was friendly and offered doggie treats for my pup! I have been wanting to try more drinks off their menu, but I'm not brave enough. Salted caramel Latte is my favorite! Not too sugary just the right amount of sweetness. Cute decor is a bonus! I have come here before with my friend and we absolutely LOVED it! The vibes were perfect, so we decided every monday Wednesday this would be our coffee spot before school. Today we visited and we ordered chai lattes, she had it before and I wanted to try it! I was so excited because the coffee cup and plate was such a cute set up! When I got out the restroom they were in to go cups and she said that she had asked if we could have it for here. They told her no so I went up and asked and they said we should have told them we wanted it for here, but last time we never asked and they just did it. She also said that they won't assume we want it for here and we need to ask but yet she assumed I wanted it in a to go cup? They were very snotty about it and it killed my whole morning vibe. Finally my friend went up and asked them to do it and they did but it just wasn't the same. I'm coming back Wednesday to give them one last shot but it really left a horrible impression on this business, which makes me incredibly sad because I loved it here so much!!!!! So basically next time specify for here or to go because they'll be difficult and not remake the drinks. If I asked Starbucks they would do it gladly, so you'd assume a smaller company would try to please their customers. Maybe I'm picky but how hard is it to remake a drink for the customer to have a pleasant experience? read more

5 stars to everything! Coffee was great, snacks were delicious, and the staff was very friendly. The baristas definitely take pride in their work and have a craftsmanship to each drink they make. They all look very happy to work there! I highly recommend the Lavender Latte for the iced coffee lovers! The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Definitely a place you can go with friends and hang out for a while. My prayers have been answered! I have been wanting to find a place to go instead of Starbucks in the morning before work. They have a nice and convenient location. The Truck looks nice and kept very clean. I ordered the Cloud nine. It grabbed my attention on the menu with the words "trust me it's good". I ordered it with almond milk and was so happy I did. First & last time going here! This place is overrated & overpriced, lacking on customer service. I specifically asked the cashier if they sweeten their lattes & if so with what? She said yes with attitude & specified they use syrups. Clearly they don't because my latte was not sweetened what so ever, the espresso quality was not good either.
