Love this little hole in the wall. The inside counter is really small, but they have tables set up outside. The staff is super friendly and nice. The breakfast is a good sized portion and so decently priced, which is too rare these days. And the food was fresh and tasted delicious. I loved my omelette, but I have to say I REALLY loved the GF's Huevos Rancheros. And with those homemade corn tortillas... wow. Can't wait to come back.

Got the Bacon and 2 Eggs (1/2 Bacon and 1/2 Sausage) and Coffee. Very good quality and delicious breakfast. Definitely not stingy on the butter on the toast. The coffee was a nice medium roast. The home potatoes were nicely seasoned and cooked with onions. On my next visit, I am going to see if they can make the home potatoes more crispier. They also have a green salsa, which is available as condiment, that was flavorful and packs some heat. Dining is available at the horseshoe counter, inside tables and outside tables. Service was extremely friendly. The chef greeted me and took my order. When patrons left, the chef would say "See you tomorrow". Parking is available along PCH.

My experiences here are always great. Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious. Even though it appears to be a tiny place a lot of people can dine inside, outside under a tent or in a large room in the back. Carlos is the manager and chief chef. His son, Angel, helps out with the cooking. It's a family affair and I've always felt welcome. Carlos greets everyone he recognizes by their name. A nice touch. Street parking is close and there is a large lot behind the restaurant formerly occupied by a bank.

If you want some fresh home cooked breakfast or lunch ! This is your spot ! Prices are reasonable , service is great , and food is delicious! Parking is a bit limited but was told you can use bank parking lot , drive way or street parking if available. It's two blocks away from the beach great location! Give them a shot ! Food and service has such a warm homelike experience. Family owned business and all hands on deck. Such a rare place to get to see first hand the ambience was so cozy as the name declares. The food though was so surprisingly spectacularly delicious. I usually add salt and pepper to most my restaurant food however, everything was seasoned perfectly. Even the simple cup of coffee was freshly brewed and high quality. I can't give a 10 stars review if not I would've. Will definitely be coming back!!

I wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in here. I had been wanting to try this place for a very long time! Small hole in the wall. Service was 10000/10. We were helped right away, our food was made very quick, we all enjoyed our food. My son got the chili cheese burger and he's usually picky with burgers, and he really liked it from here!! I like that the portions are small, just perfect to make you full. I usually never finish my food but that wasn't the case here, I actually finished it all. No containers to go were needed for our table. We came in on a Sunday for brunch and it was a little empty but as we were leaving, the outside patio filled up. The only thing I disliked was that the check was written and you could hardly tell what was what. Either way, price was great for 5 of us! I want to add that it was BEYOND humbling to eat here. I meant it in the best way possible. Cozy cafe seems to be operated by family, a boy, 10-12 year old took our drink order and brought us everything we needed. Not sure if the cook was his dad or grandpa but the whole family seems to be involved and of service!! You do not see this very often nowadays!!!! I felt the love and care that this food was made with... including the customer service!!! Thank you!!!!! I will definitely be coming back!

Went here for brunch as my wife and I were craving some typical diner brunch food. It definitely hit the spot. I ordered the chorizo and my wife ordered the tuna melt. Both were delicious, and we can't wait to come back and try some other options.

Day 1: Found a local gem this morning! Cannot rave enough about this true "cozy" cafe. On the outside, which is being painted, it may not look like much, but it has a charm that breaks through the generic, modernistic, and want to be boutique eateries of the area. What others are trying to convey The Cozy Cafe brings to you on a plate with home style meals. The iconic mix of Greek-Hispanic flair made famous by California literary great Victor Villasenor resonates in this establishment! In the center of all the "fluff" of touristy Rendondo Beach fare, sit down at the horseshoe style countertop and have a great cup of Joe, good enough for any dock worker or fisherman. Order the Huevos Rancheros and be served a large plate of eggs, papas with onions, and a "Spanish sauce" that has a Mediterranean flair! Or order the Ham Steak and Eggs and have a meal fit for a sailor! The experience is like visiting a relative's home, catching up on recent events, and having a great meal. Day: 2 Returned to have Carlos make Chorizo con Huevos to PERFECTION!! If you ever have found a place far from home, that made you feel like you are at a family's house- this is it!!

Great breakfast place! I told myself that i would go in if there was a parking place. Lo and behold there was one. Food, owner, other customers make this diner a must if youre around the RB pier. Small, two car parking space. read more

Finally tried this place after passing by it for many years, and man was it worth it. I ordered the stuffed french toast with bacon and sausage. I also ordered some eggs and potatoes and it was all delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is great! We have lived down the street for two years and today was the first time we tried it. My son ordered the 2X4, I had the Ham Steak and Eggs, and we ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs to go (for a late sleeper). Everything was great, and there was a lot of it. Definitely one of the best breakfast places in Redondo Beach (we'll be back soon to try the lunch)!! The owner George treats you as if you are a longtime customer, even on your first visit. If you're like me and have driven by this place 100 times but never stopped in, do yourself a favor and eat here, ASAP! You won't regret it!! read more

My husband and I have been eating at the Cozy Cafe for over 20 years. It was our weekend breakfast spot EVERY weekend before we moved to Clovis and you know what? It's STILL worth the drive! We drove 4 hours to go to Father's Day breakfast at the Cozy, even though George was on vacation. Their chili is the best! Whatever you order, just get it covered with chili and you can't go wrong. Have George whip you up a surprise breakfast. You won't be disappointed. When we first started going there, it was dirt in the patio area and grody ole' picnic tables. It's first class now! read more

We live nearby and decided to check this place out. Food was yummy and service was great. Everyone is attentive. I had the Greek scramble which was delicious and my husband had the french toast special, also yummy. Not a fancy place if you are in the mood for that but good ol homestyle cooking. George, the owner is nice and came by to say hi. We will definitely be back. read more

This cafe is truly a gem. The huge tent attached to a house, creates an outside patio eating area that actually adds to the coziness of the cafe! The options were endless and everything that the other customers were getting looked delicious enough to make me want to come back and try them. My meal, however, was great! I had corn beef hash and an omelet with sausage, cheese topped with beef chili! The service was refreshing because it felt like we were at home eating breakfast on a Sunday morning; nothing fancy, just real. Definitely a place I will keep in mind the next time I head out to Redondo Beach for brunch. read more

Great little breakfast spot, came here twice during a recent trip to Redondo Beach. Really small, seats around 10 inside with a patio outside. Both times i had the corned beef hash and it was great. Staff are very friendly, attentive and quick. read more

We just went yesterday (Saturday) for the 1st time and loved our breakfast. We can't wait to go back, we have a list of more breakfast and lunch items that we would love to try. Not only was our breakfast great but we loved George and his two workers. They make u feel at home. George has such a fun/joking personality and it made for such a great time. They open in 12mins and my husband and I will be going to try the Greek Scramble this morning, can't wait : ) So if your have tried the Cozy Cafe, it's a must. It's name suits it perfectly. read more

BEST place for breakfast and lunch in the West Redondo area. The crew is on point and very much there to make your visit like home. We eat here at least once a week. You get a good size meal at a reasonable price point. Trust me, it's GREAT!!!! read more

A hidden gem for sure. Good food, better price, and a more casual atmosphere you couldn't ask for... The first handful of times, I've gotten breakfast--usually an omelet--and always have been satisfied. Then, today, I switched it up and got the chicken quesadilla and I gotta say it was also very tasty. In other words, this place has a wide range of good dishes. Maybe I should of gone with five stars? read more

Went there for the first time on Sunday and it was fantastic! Found parking on the street and we sat at the counter. Service was excellent - quick, lots of refills on coffee as well. I also got to watch the cook do everything which made it hard to decide. I had the Greek Deluxe - an omelette with gyro meat, feta, spinach, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. Never thought about that combo before but it was delicious. It game with home fries and I couldn't eat it all so took the rest home for breakfast the next day! My boyfriend had bacon, eggs, home fries and he said it was great. As we were leaving we spoke with the owner who is a fun and friendly guy. It may be small but the service and food are great. Can't wait to go back! read more

I've often passed by CC and finally I decided to stop in Saturday morning (7:30). Perfect timing since there was one other person having breakfast in the patio area. The servers and cook were SUPER friendly and VERY attentive. My food arrived within about 6 mins max and it was delicious !!! The server went out of his way to thank me for stopping in. It appears its managed by hard working family members putting their heart and soul into every order ! I will definitely be back. read more

OMG! George I love you, I love your staff and most of all I love your food. I ate here with my husband and son last week, after years of driving by and wondering "what's the deal with that dumpy looking place". Well let me tell you, you can't judge a book by it's cover. The best gyro I have had in my life. Husband had a Greek omlette and was licking the plate. The tzatziki is home made and I don't know what George (the owner) puts in it but it is the best I have ever had. George is a character and a lovely man (although he sounds like a sailor at times - likes to drop the f bomb...?). He jokes with all of the customers and is a live wire. His staff are so attentive and hard working. You feel like you just walked into your grandfather's kitchen and you are chillin' with family. I had to ask George to come out of the kitchen and I said"hey I read about you on YELP". He said he has never seen Yelp but the customers keep telling him about it. We sat at the counter on a Saturday afternoon.It's small but the food is oh so gooood. Give it a try. It is the best breakfast location in the south bay. This food is cheap, NOT greasy and should be served at a high end middle eastern restaurant in Westwood. All of these YELPERS can't be wrong. read more

After several years of driving by this itty-bitty box of a place, we finally stopped in for breakfast after church last Sunday morning... The tiny, 10 seat horse-shoe shaped counter was jammed,and we immediately knew it was a happy place by the way of all the customers warmly welcomed us... Then we met George, and it was easy to see why everyone was having such a good time... He definitely sets the overall jovial tone... I had huevos-rancheros (with George's extra hot green salsa--!!!)... My hubby had huge pancakes with a softly poached egg... Everything was good... Love this place! The pancakes are absolutely amazing, and service is always so friendly even when they're busy. It isn't the cleanest place ever (it's in a dilapidated old building/ house), which is the only reason why I took off one star. But if you go in with this knowledge and aren't expecting a fancy place, you'll love this hole in the wall! Well loved by locals! read more

my wife dragged me here for breakfast the other day. it's not very big in the one room with the counter, which is where we sat. not much to look at--it's just your basic diner. but the food was good and cheap and the guy making it was nice. i got the basic breakfast--two pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage. it was 5 bucks. everything was cooked right, was brought out hot, and was tasty. if this were served in some lovely, decorated place, then i'm sure they could have charged more. but i appreciated the cheap food. perhaps someday a woman will come in there and dust and straighten pictures on the walls. but, for now, you'll just have to enjoy the food. read more

My son and I shared the BULL ($19 - Bulgogi, Kimchi, Caramelized Onion, Shishito Peppers, Spring Mix, American, Cheddar, Korean Aioli) and it was amazing. It could have possibly had more aioli spread evenly on it if I had one very, very minor complaint. We also shared the Shishito Peppers because they were out of their awesome Brussel Sprouts ($10.00 - Lup Cheong Sausage, Chili Garlic Soy Reduction, Gochu-q) and man, that sausage is sick...so good. I wanted for more but at $10, it is a great side portion and the sauce that it came with was amazing...I kept dredging and dredging. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've tried their other location and I like the small business feel of the place. The shishito peppers are good, very greasy though and the sauce wasn't anything unique, it did the job. The burgers are good, every time I come back, I'm reminded how a lot of the options seem to be on the sweeter side and I'm personally a savory burger gal. Maybe this is a sign to bring my own hot sauce. Anyways, this is a good place to support, just gotta be in a specific craving.

Their burgers are pretty good, although I feel they were even better in the past. I used to go to their Lomita location (which has since become a different restaurant), and I remember the burgers being served on brioche buns that really stood out in taste. I'm a big fan of fresh-made burgers rather than fast-food style places, and I don't mind paying a bit more for something made fresh. Their menu has great options overall, and the lunch box is a solid value for the price. The homemade onion rings are especially good. The only issue I consistently have with this location is the fries. I've never received crispy fries here. There is now an option to request "crispy / well-done" fries when ordering online, but it doesn't apply to all menu items, and it still doesn't seem consistent. What I usually receive are soft, oily fries that end up tasting more like steamed potatoes, which I personally can't enjoy. I don't think most people would prefer fries served that way over crispy ones, so I really hope they can improve on this part of the menu.

It has a double patty, mozzarella cheese, banana ketchup aioli, longganisa, and atchara on soft pandesal from Gemmae Bakeshop. I really enjoyed this burger. I loved how they used pandesal and how they had a lot of Filipino ingredients in this burger. The longganisa paired well with the burger patty and gave the burger a nice, sweet touch. I also really liked the touch of banana ketchup aioli and atchara. Aside from The Buntan Burger, I got the PS Fries. I've gotten these fries before and they still remain to be some of the best fries I've ever tried. The thick fries are so crisp and delicious. I am fan of the generous toppings of burger patty, cheese, griddled onions, pickles and special sauce. I love the PS Fries but definitely also want to try the Chili Cheese Fries next time. Ya know that charming dive bar everybody loves because the atmosphere is cute, the drinks are cheap and the staff remembers your name? This local diner has exactly the same vibe but for breakfast! If you're trying to find this spot, keep your eyes open as you drive down pch because if you blink you might miss it. What looks like a residential house is actually home to amazing breakfasts, good coffee and a friendly staff. I'm partial to the Zacatecas special but literally everything I've ever had there was delicious. Theres a seating area in the back with benches but i'm partial to the counter inside that seats about 10 people max. Definitely family owned, and all the food is prepared with a greek flair. We've been coming to Cozy Café for the last 6 years, and every time we're in Redondo it's our tradition to eat here every single morning. The food is always amazing especially the potatoes (they're unbeatable!) but honestly, everything Carlos makes is worth ordering. What makes Cozy Café truly special is that it's family-owned and run with so much heart. Carlos is the sweetest he always remembers us and makes us feel so welcome every visit. Ruthie P This is a little place on PCH and just one building south of Torrance Blvd. on the west side of PCH. The place is small but cozy and the food is the best. The owner George has the best stakes that I have ever had. He always has a smile for every one. This is the place to go for breakfast, lunch and or dinner. This is just how good that I think this cozy place is. This place is packed a lot of times, and with good reason. Good Food, Friendly and everyone is so nice, It is a cozy place. I love the at home feel of this place. It's defiantly a community feel. I got the corned beef hash breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection which is amazing since most places can't cook an over medium egg to save their lives. The potatoes were fresh and flavorful and the toast and jam were the perfect finish. I like places that make sure the butter melts on the toast and this place did that. Other places put a cold tab of butter and wish you luck on spreading it after they leave the table. I'll totally be coming back to this place. read more

I had breakfast here this morning. I had driven by the place for 2 yrs. and never stopped in. This morning I am glad I took the extra time for myself and went in. Its a small place, only a counter top to sit around. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, it also came with potatoes and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. This cafe is one of the worst cafe's in redondo beach. Located on a very crowded / impossible street to park on (PCH), this cafe is very inaccessible. Their is barely any seating area inside & they have some sort of a outside patio which is hidden under trees & neighboring houses/ buildings.
