I ordered the crab pack special medium, which is still rather spicy. And I am a spicy lover. I ordered the Pack #3. The Cajun rub wings, and garlic noodles. The wings were soooooo flavorful and crispy! The garlic noodles were good, but I felt like they were overcooked and too cheesy. The calamari was good as well. So I've been here twice now and have even ordered through food delivery as well so I really like their food. From their seafood boils to their fried seafood, I think it's reasonably priced and on par with other seafood places. If you love garlic, this place will not disappoint. Service was awesome on both of my visits. I came for dinner on a packed Friday evening and for lunch on a slow Sunday afternoon. It's a casual spot with lots of booths, tables, and high tops and can easily seat big parties. The seafood boils are based on market prices and they post the current prices when you walk in. I like that they have different ways you can order your boils. You can choose from packs that have a set of different seafood, packs that include one specific seafood, or even build your own pack. You can customize it to your liking. Regardless, get it with the crab pack special seasoning! It's packed full of flavor. Level 3 is hot enough to give me the spicy sniffles while still being able to enjoy my food. The fried seafood here is solid. The fried oysters were huge and the fries came out piping hot. I've also tried the crab pack platter which is like their fried seafood sampler. I don't say this often but the fried shrimp were awesome! They were not all batter and skimpy shrimp pieces. They were huge and fried perfectly. The catfish was also delicious. Best of all, it came out hot and fresh. We also tried the charbroiled oysters and although the oyster was nice and big, the seasoning was too salty for me. They provide you plastic bibs and gloves for your meal and there's also a convenient hand washing station in the very back of the dining area. I look forward to coming back and trying their other menu items such as the po' boys since I enjoyed their fried seafood so much. I've found my favorite Viet-Cajun crab boil spot! Their boil flavor is full of garlic flavor and their "mouth on fire" spice level is PERFECTLY spicy and it really is worth the $2 for the ghost peppers. I literally chewed on every shrimp shell to get all my flavor out. The staff was friendly and the food came out fresh and quickly. Everything is practically market price so you'll have to check on pricing. But, very reasonable compared to other crab boil establishments. They took over redneck heaven. Put in more bar stools and made the place look more ocean/sea/beach theme. It's cute and spacious. Staff were super, super friendly. Being fair and considerate to the american public. If you park in there lot in the back to be out of the way and walk away from your car for a sec they will boot your car and charge you 160 bucks to have it taken off or they will tow your car. I really like this place. Atmosphere was pretty chill and the food was pretty good. I ordered the shrimp my husband got the catfish. Both were brought out quickly and were fresh out the fryer. I wanted to try the fried crab fingers, which are not on the menu but I saw on Yelp but they were out. I also tried a Pina Colada cant say that I was a big fan of that but the beer was good and cold. We slid out to Funky town to try this place on a recommendation from a co-worker. We arrived on a Friday evening around 6:45ish and surprisingly...they weren't packed like I thought they would be and going off of the cars in the parking lot, but they're next door to TX Roadhouse. We ordered the #2 (1/2lb shrimp, 1lb snow crab legs, 1 corn & 3 potatoes), crab pack special sauce, mild and of course...I had to get my single fried catfish filet. The drinks came...hit the spot while we chatted it up and waited on our food. A little time passed and our food arrived piping hot....blessing said....le'go....lawd have mercy that fish was fresh out the grease, crispy & seasoned to the Big Mama God's!!! I'd literally come here just for the fish. The level of heat on the seafood boil was just right and seasoned to perfection!! Everything was good and fresh. The crab was black & gummy on the legs, I called back hoping to get a refund without wasting anymore gas on the mediocrity but the "manager" suggested I return so they could make a new one. Before that suggestion he proceeded to tell me that all crab is like that & it was normal. You asked me what my spice level was and I'm a customer not ya home girl. She's then goes on to say "I think a 2 or 3 would be good for you" and I was like "okay let me get the 3" she replies with "oh actually we don't have 1, 2, or 3 for the Cajun sauce we just have 5 and 6.
