Yummy I tested my siblings food and every single dish was yummy. The place is this bright brownish color of light. It gave a really chill vibe. The employees are very nice to the people in the restaurant. There was little people I don't get it. The food is amazing.

Food was excellent seasoned well and generous portions. I really appreciated that they were able to accommodate my food allergies! The service was fast and the waitress was helpful with suggestions for our meal. It's a nice vibe and the drinks are on point!

I love this place. Whenever you're looking for some good crab legs, go here. We always get the king, crab legs and last night we added the lobster tail. The lobster tail might not be necessary that the king cab legs are must. Definitely worth the price. We always order it "juicy "as it has great spice and flavor. Also. First time I've tried their hush puppies. These were amazing!! I could eat a whole plate!!!

Zero Stars This calamari had obviously been frozen for way too long. I hit the road before I opened the take out and tried to eat it while driving it was just disgusting totally inedible

In fact, I think Cajun Queen might be one of the the haunts we take visitors while they are in town. We started with a half order of fried oysters. Delicious. For our entrees, my wife had the grilled Mahi-Mahi topped with crawfish sautéed with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, and scallions in a white wine, lemon butter sauce served over rice. I had the blackened catfish with the same crawfish topping with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. We both greatly enjoyed our dishes. I was almost deterred by recent reviews regarding seasoning of the dishes. My wife and I are accustomed to eating spicy food. I am pleased to report that spices happily danced on my tongue as I savored my catfish. To finish off our meal, we shared a slice of warm pecan piece. Delicious. The wonderful food was coupled with pleasant enough service. Our waitress waited a little too long to return to take our order, but once she did I was surprised by how quickly our food arrived. We enjoyed listening to the three-piece Gator Band (drums, upright bass, and piano) playing jazz tunes while we ate on the second floor of the converted house that is the Cajun Queen's home. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Gave this place a chance tonight and it was amazing! Food was amazing. Staff was AMAZING! Atmosphere was on point. Made me feel right at home again (im from Louisiana). Overall a 10/10 experience. UNTIL.... To my surprise, Nima (I believe to be the owners son, I asked staff so I could write this review) anyways, NIMA thought it would be appropriate to cuss out our AMAZING server, Sophie, in front of the entire restaurant. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this Nima character is. One thing I won't tolerate is an unprofessional bully of a "boss", and I also won't tolerate a MAN feeling so comfortable to yell and cuss at his FEMALE staff worker. Sophie kept her composure but was almost in tears. From the moment we sat down Sophie was nothing short of amazing towards us in every aspect. Gave us great recommendations for food, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We had to close out early with her due to Nima forcing her to go home in the middle of her shift, leaving John to take over service for us and John was nothing short of amazing towards us also. All of this to say, I truly loved it in here, but next time when I come back if Sophie isnt here anymore due to this Nima chump, I don't know if I can support a business that treats their employees this way in front of guests. I hope the owner sees this and puts his so called son in check because no professional business owner would treat anyone this way especially In front of guests. I will not support any man that feels comfortable raising his voice at a female employee period.

I stopped in here on a Friday afternoon to grab a quick bite. Upon entrance, I really liked the paintings and other decorations spread throughout the dining room. The kitchen is visible as well which makes for a more immersive dining experience. The menu seemed to have plenty of seafood but I figured I'd opt for their special, a Blackened Red Snapper with Bacon Jalapeño Cream Sauce. It came with two sides so I decided to try out their okra and collard greens, after a recommendation from my waiter. I typically don't order collard greens but he said they have pork and are delicious. The place wasn't too busy so food came out quickly, about 10 minutes after I ordered. The food looked decent upon first glance, but I wasn't sold just yet. After my first bite of fish, I was taken aback by the delicious flavor of their cream sauce paired with the blackened fish. It was a solid portion of fish and tasted of good quality, so it didn't stand much a chance. The sides were also just as delicious. It's hard to mess up fried okra so my expectations were met to a tee. The collard greens were actually so incredible as well. I don't really know what they're made of but I definitely will be trying it more in the future, if other places prepare it as good. They also had a house hot sauce with was more flavor than heat, but paired wonderfully with everything. The whole meal was so good so I understand why they seem to a have solid amount of regulars at this place. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. If you want a taste of Louisiana, this place is a solid option in Charlotte.

Seriously. Everything has pork. I got a handheld egg sandwich with tomato and cheese on a croissant with their potatoes. Basic sandwich, dry and the cheese & tomato were an extra charge. The potatoes were hard like they're old. The mimosa was good, regular sparkling with pineapple juice. And their tip machine doubles the recommended amount so for my $9 mimosa it generates a +$3 tip at 18 % but it should have been under $2. Just wanted to point that out too. I won't be back.

The dumplings were cooked well and the chicken was very flavorful. The Southern Fried Steak was fantastic and well. No complaints about this dish either. Every component was well made and delicious. The only complaint I had was the service really went down hill after we got our meal. Our server didn't check on us until she delivered the bill which was disappointing because initially the service started out so well. The Southern Pecan is a good spot. Stop in and grab a bite.
