My family and I stopped in for dinner around 8pm one night. The food was outstanding, however the service was bare minimum. Our waiter didn't seem to care, he did ensure food orders were taken but if you wanted more water or ketchup it wasn't happening. Next, it wasn't the sub-par service that made us feel as though the place didn't care about its patrons, it was the absolutely disgusting bathrooms. My husband took our 4 year old to the bathroom, returning and complaining about how there was urine all over the floor. After, having our little one hold it, he asked if I wanted to try the women's. First, walking into the bathroom two women walking out warned me that it was NASTY! I had no choice my 4 year old now had to go so bad he couldn't hold it. It was awful; used bandaids in the stalls, trash cans overflowing, toilet paper all over the floor and toilets, just too many things to mention. It was one of the worst bathrooms we had ever seen, it made us wonder if they keep the kitchen and other areas in this same condition or do people care about where they work and show their customers. Like I said good food, eyy service and terrible bathrooms. We wanted to eat at this place when it's 10:15 pm but she told us they they are closed when on the business hours saying at 11pm. So we just end up taking our food to go and we just wanted a refill drink that we go there and they told us no refill when we literally got the refill drink. So never going back here. Got the 1lb of headless shrimp, with combine em (clams and mussels) Medium heat and mix em all sauce. It tasted delicious. When we come to Orlando we usually go to Hot n Juicy but this time we decided to try Crafty Crab because last time Hot n Juicy was VERY salty. My fiancé and I were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the sauce was, we got the sauce that is a mix of their 3 sauces, it wasn't too salty it was just right. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was very sweet and helpful. The price was also cheaper then other restaurants but the seafood was still fresh. Snow Crab and headless shrimp (1/2 pound each) Mild with Lemon Pepper. The Good: Decore was fun. Clean. Food - Portion was great. Snow crab cooked perfectly. I was not impressed with my seafood coming out piping hot in a blown up plastic bag. Our Crab legs were over cooked, sticking to the shell.. Biggest pet peeve! The seasoning wasn't good at all, Im kinda glad the crabs weren't boiled in the seasoning that's poured on top after they boil. I'm wondering if the plastic bag is leeching chemicals into the seasoning cause the bad taste? I find the obnoxious bag to be disrespectful towards the precious crab meat. There must be a better way! Dear Crusty Crab, Went to this place on Tuesday night after a long drive to Orlando from Miami. Visit started off well we decided to come to this location since it was close to our resort instead of going to our favorite place Mr. and Mrs. Crab (Love this place). Ordered everything all at once Drinks, App, and Entree. Drinks came out first and then everything else followed all at once. As we were eating our App and Entree simultaneously we proceed to open our bag of crab. Bag definitely not even hot or warm. More like Luke Warm so prior to pouring the bag on to the tray I stopped an looked at the waiter to signal there was an issue. He too touches the crab through the bag of course. He immediately takes it over to Mr. Johnny the MOD for the night. This guy walks over and proceeds to inform us as the guest that he can rewarm crab legs because he wouldn't be able to just throw away a $60.00 meal. Who wants reheated crab are you serious we want fresh cooked crab that comes out Hotttttt!!!! Mr. Johnny had some nerve to discuss his food cost with a customer didn't care that he had a dissatisfied customer. We ended up eating the Luke Warm Crab. The only thing that was Hot was the Fried Shrimp basket. I tolerated warm Calamari and Luke Warm Crab. With that being said ended up with food poison within hours after leaving this place. Next time I will just walk out of your establishment and let you deal with your food cost since that was your concern. Unfortunately, Jake suffered as a result too wise but he didn't have too! When we walked in it seemed desolate with few workers which almost had us quickly decided to try somewhere else, but we decided to try it being we never came before. Everything came out great and I loved the Boom sauce that I chose for my seafood combo. Expect to some here, wear a bib and gloves provided, and dive deep in flavorful seafood with corn and potatoes. Me and my wife got the 1/2lb snow crab and headless shrimp combo with the boom sauce (a combination of all 3 optioned offered mixed together) and we loved it. It was delicious, filling, and I would like to revisit and try a different seafood combination. The calamari appetizer was tasty, I do enjoy having whole pieces and not just rings but I had no complaints with them being perfectly crispy. My sister in law got fried oysters with sweet potato fries and enjoyed it. I recommend doing the seafood boil options was I did because that's the highlight of the place. Very disappointing considering the fact that We are vacationing in Florida. I ordered a seafood platter that came with head on shrimp(which is gross) mussels (all of the meat from the mussels fell out so I had to dish them out at the bottom of the bag) clams crawfish crab-legs corn potato's. But thought o well screw it give it a shot. I got the king crab and my lady got snow crab both reasonable price king was like 38$/lb. While other places were $40-$60/lb. The flavors were bomb. We got some shrimp,hard boil eggs, crawfish,potatoes and sausage and corn as well. Service was awesome our server came by frequently checking on us and checking our drinks. She even memorized our whole order and didn't miss anything she was a stud. We finished all our food we were ready since we been on a plane for 5 hours and hadn't eaten anything. I asked what come with the combine em meal he said 2 potatoes & 1 corn I said cool let me get that & it was priced online for 24.50 great price, so then he ask if 1/2 pound was ok. I ask if I can do the a pound in the crab & 1/2 pound in the shrimp he said yes. Remind you I don't eat here on the regular & have not ate out since CoVid but I knew the price was gonna be different but being my 1st time you think he would explain better about the pricing would be different. Also I add a side of corn which come in three for 2.99. Got to pick up my order was shocked it came up to 42.05, I was better offer getting da lobster special for about that price. Got back to my destination to eat & it was ok but saltyfor the most part I had better & also I notice out of 1 of my 4 corns 1 was bitten & I only ate 2 plus the potato was not cooked to my liking it was a bit hard which is very disappointing & disgusting for the price I paid. I didn't even bother to call & complain & I felt sick from last night until all day today. We came to Orlando and yelped a place to eat. We had the king crab, snow crab and fried shrimp and chicken tenders. The food was great. The crab was a little pricey but we live in Houston so we are accustomed to lower prices for crab. The shrimp has a lot of breading which was delicious but just know that the fries and shrimp basket is very filling because of the breading. Went on a Saturday night. Spacious, clean, with friendly staff. Ordered a 2-lb shrimp/crawfish combo to share, along with gumbo and some sides. The seafood bag was delicious, and the crawfish were a very good size (which matters because otherwise you are just paying for shells). The gumbo was tasty, but not as authentic as a bowl you'd get in New Orleans. This doesn't affect their rating because, honestly, where outside of N'awlins can you get an authentic bowl of gumbo? My wife and I were in town on vacation. Noticed restaurant while traveling down rt4 were in mood for some seafood so we decided to stop in. Impressive building clean and staff was friendly and efficient. Seated right away and waiter attended to us quickly. Now the reason they missed 5 stars. The music system was low and playing offensive music lots of f bombs and repetitive n word. Not the atmosphere during the day for children need to be exposed to. Management may want to address that.
