worst customer service ever. WAITING PERIOD: we called ahead and asked for wait time they said there's no wait, so we went. when we arrived we signed in and waited for 30 mins. during that 30 mins we noticed that the front desk and servers are extremely messy and uncoordinated. there were 5 empty tables available at the moment. we asked to check on our status and the server asked us to wait unaware that there's a sign in sheet and we've been on it and raised her voice saying that she didn't know there's a sign in sheet to the front desk making it audible throughout the waiting area. GETTING SEATED: server waved to us signaling us to come, did not introduce herself and was extremely rude hesitant with her moves tossing the menu at us and walked away. she didn't try to save herself either, she is flat out jus acting out to act out. ORDERING: she came by asking what we want to drink but were ready to order. went straight in and began the sentence with "can we have 2 lbs of shrimp 2 lbs of clam ..."(we want 8 lbs btw) she was taken away by our input and said "woah woah woah this is too much" like judging we can't eat this amount. she lacks awareness to notice we're reading things off the AYCE menu so yeah we came here for AYCE. your advertisement on instagram reels worked. in the middle of ordering the seafood and choosing sauces she bursted out saying "im really tired please stop" like she never taken orders before. it's 2lbs a person to order per round for AYCE and we are simplifying it for you in the easiest way possible: lbs - item - sauce - spicy level. after i had finished ordering my seafood then moved on to the sides. i said "& 4 eggs" im appalled that she responded in a very rude tone "woah where did you get 4 eggs from?" i got "4 eggs" because we want "4 eggs" and you're taking our order why else do you think i told you "4 eggs" LACKING BASIC COMMON SENSE MAKING BOTH OF OUR LIVES MORE DIFFICULT. FOOD: in one batch of shrimp i don't know how many were raw but i found 2 raw ones. was not cooked to the core, may be one of the reason why i resulted in a stomach ache. food is good, the flavor is good i like the hint of sweet. First time there and Popped it to grab some Garlic noodles and peeled shrimp. Discovered the $2.95!mimosas on Sunday and knew i made a good choice. Me my aunt and cousin enjoyed the edamame and requested that they toss it in a bag with the whole Shabang sauce and it was well worth it! The noodles the shrimp and my garlic bread was delicious! Place was good I got the mild all together sauce. The thing that was not good was the baked green lip mussels. The sauce on it was not good to me and it had a burnt taste to it like they chard it with a blow torch. Thw mussles i ordered in the bag were not the green li mussels like i thought they would be. They were the small black ones. Waiter was nice and attentive. The churros were not my favorite, only because I don't like filled churros and the sauces on top make it super sweet which is not my thing. Overall good boil. The food here is the best especially the shrimp and pasta and the prices are very reasonable. Depending on the time of day this place can be extremely hard to get in with a reservation or it can be completely empty if it's not during a usually mealtime. I was very happy to discover this restaurant was right next to my student housing at UCR. They had good options for both me (a vegetarian) and my boyfriend (a seafood and meat lover). I ordered the corn appetizer and it was good, I'd give it an 8/10. I had the fettuccine Alfredo as my entree and it was pretty tasty, 9/10. We also shared a basket of the Cajun fries which I really enjoyed. From what I saw the seafood options looked good as well. Ordered the half sack, the street corn, and extra potatoes. The pickup was easy... doors open, proper ventilation, masked staff. The food was good but they forgot the potatoes. So I just moved to the area and I love finding good places like this because sometimes I just crave a lb of shrimp and sausage links and Cajun fries well I had a mini get together with my 5 other friends and we ended up trying this place out. We went on a Saturday around 6ish pm and there was no wait, not busy at all. People were there at tables but we got taken care of quickly. They also validate your parking ticket since you need one to get into the parking plaza. I got a lb of shrimp with head and shell on it since it was cheaper than the peeled shrimp. I added 1/2 lb of Louisiana sausage links that were cut up small to eat whole size. I got a side of Cajun fries. I got the whole shabang and spicy sauce and I almost tapped out. But it was just right. Some drips from my nose but man was it unstoppably good! They are so fast with the order and accommodate everything. Gave bibs and gloves without having to ask. Checked on us frequently. All of my friends said this spot was a hit and very flavorful. One my friends had the shrimp Alfredo pasta and she was so obsessed with it. Lol enough to take home. The garlic toast is delicious. The crab legs were easy to break and so perfect to the T. It is a pit pricey but I mean you get what you pay for right? Good meals are not usually cheap. Fries were good but the garlic noodles were gross. (Watery) with no flavor but butter and watery noodles.
