The food was fair and had interesting flavors. But with a kitchen you can see in, I would think they would be extremely good with cleanliness. But I watched all night as those making fruit drink would pick their nose and play with their hair then make raw dishes. When done they would whipe their hands on their pants. When I asked to speak who was in charge it was half addressed and the offenders spent the rest of my dinner giving me dirty looks. I would never go back or send anyone there. Been here a few times and it was just fine , the food was OK and I usually make it there at least once a year. Today I had the salmon burger with fries, after a few bites I noticed the fish tasted a bit funky so enough of that. The fries had zero taste, even salt and pepper didn't manage to make them edible. The wife had a burger that was supposed to have caramelized onions on it, the onions were sauteed??? At least check the fish to see if it's starting to go rancid before serving it up, also, the cook needs to google "caramelized" onions before saying they have them !!! Delicious breakfast spot in Narragansett. Great choice of fresh squeezed juices and lots of delicious coffee creations. While scrolling through the reviews for Crazy Burger, I happened upon my own from 2012. I found myself almost crying that I haven't taken a second to update my 3 star review up to a 5!!! After moving down to south county, I have begun to frequent Crazy Burger more and more. In turn, I have fallen in love. While I may have had a unpleasant experience with an egg sandwich years ago, I learned my breakfast lesson and will forever order the mexi-eggs to bring myself to egg and avocado heaven. Thank you Crazy Burger for teaching me the joys of the Birdie Mae and the zucchini latkes. Thank you for fried ice cream. I get it. It's a local treasure, and it was on a tv show. But, lest we forget, it featured Guy Fieri (the equivalent of a talking jalapeño popper). That being said, the food was very good. Really, very good. But, for two adults and a small child (1 1/2) we spent a little over $50 on lunch. That's mental! Definitely worth the travel to check out this diner. We are Diner, Drive-In and Dive fans, so traveling to Rhode Island, we wanted to check out the local grub and were not disappointed. The burgers were well made and fresh with different flavors than the average burger joint. My companion was very pleased with their homemade ketchup sauce and continued to dunk his fries in it. We also had to try the juice bar and it was excellent. Our server was very skilled at picking what type of ingredients should go into it to make it tasty (as we were not sure at the time). Everyone was friendly and the service was quick, but I can see it being busy during the summer rush. Overall, enjoyed our experience and look forward to visiting again in the future. read more

The food was a 3 and the service was a 1. That's why the rating is a 2. The hostess sat us on the outdoor patio. There were no other diners and 7 empty tables. Waitress comes to the table without a hello and asks annoyed 'is your entire party here'? I tell her 'they are parking' and she tells me the hostess should not have sat us until they arrived. BTW, before she was done speaking with us our friends arrived. The service remained subpar the entire dinner. Maybe she thinks Crazy Burger is a 5 star restaurant but, they are just a burger joint. I went here on accident and it was the best thing that ever randomly came into my life. The outside looks pretty sketchy and I was there in the off season when there weren't many tourists along the beach or other restaurants open. My friend and I split two dishes so I was able to try the Luna-Sea burger (which I found out later was featured on the food network) and the Baa Baa burger. I love burgers. and have had many burgers. and these burgers. top all other burgers. Just one of the best things that has ever graced my tastebuds. A friend of mine brought me here because it's one of her favorite places. I immediately loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, as it's very quirky and cozy. It's a smaller place that seems to stay busy so there may be a wait but it's worth it! I got the Loco Burger which has black beans and avocado and is wrapped in a tortilla. The burger itself was very fresh and flavorful and the toppings just added to it! I was even more impressed by the French fries which are super addicting! * My first Review * Go easy on me... :-) I did a long RI road trip with my son today. We saw this place on TV (You know the show) Drove 1 1/2 Hrs. We are foodies/cooks who love good taste & quality. We shared the Pacific rim rolls and I had the Lunasea salmon burger with fries. My son had a Cajun burger. Everything was hot & fresh. the place is crazy busy even on a Thursday winter day at 11:30am. So we had to sit at the counter. I had a coffee (Which was nice & hot-Bonus points). The waitresses were running around like mad. So service certainly wasn't one on one. I'm expecting too much I know. On to the show.. The Pacific rolls were the hit of the show, and the spicy peanut sauce was excellent ( I used it on my salmon burger). My son thought his Cajun Burger was OK, but wasn't Hot Spicy as advertised (Hot sauce fixed that) The cajun burger has a sweet taste to it, which didn't appeal to me at all. The Lun-a-Sea Salmon burger was OK, and I used the sauce supplied, but used the spicy peanut sauce from the appetizer. It was OK, but didn't hit the mark for me. From the show & reading many reviews We were expecting to be Rock'ed & Roll'ed. It was good, ( I would come back ) IMO but not outstanding so I was dissapointed after driving so far. Definitely worth a visit if you're within a 30 minute radius. The place from the outside is unassuming, however, don't be fooled. This place has some great food. For starters, they have freshly squeezed juices and you can do your own combo. I had the apple, ginger, pear juice, which was excellent. I also had the Mumbai Burger which was absolutely phenomenal! In fact, it was probably one of the most unique burgers I've ever had and one of the best, even though it was actually a turkey burger. So would I go back to this place? Of course! I've been to this Narraganset hot spot a few times now over the years, my previous review of it I gave it 5 stars....but after tonight I have to knock a few off...big disappointment It started out very good...had the risotto corn fritters and chicken wings to start.....for dinner I got the Jumpin Jack Hellapeno and it was wasn't what I thought it would be, couldn't even taste the cheese, very bland. My girlfriend had the Goofy Gorgonzola burger, which was also very bland, not to mention over cooked. It was a Saturday night and they were very busy, I don't think they can handle the crowds they get at times and keep up the quality of the food at the same time....if I go again, it wont be on a Saturday night. I'll give it one more chance, cause I have had some very good meals there, maybe I caught it on an off night. Just had the Mumbai burger, stop what you're doing, don't get distracted by anything else on the menu and order it now! Do it! Do it now! 3, 2, 1 do it. Sides are killer of course, we had both beans and slaw. Homemade ketchup should also be listed as a main dish as far as I'm concerned. Services we had was perfect, despite an order mix up - could have been us, could have been him and he took full responsibility. We'll always come here. On the way to Newport RI from NYC. Heard about this place from DDD and it was kind of on the way. We got there at 1pm on a Sunday and the place was reasonably full. Although it can appear to be a college hangout, there were many older adults enjoying the ambience and food experience. The place has a breakfast and lunch menu. Appears that the breakfast are very reasonably priced and the burgers are on the expensive side ($10- $14). My wife had the Quirky Cajun burger and I had the Whatsuppy burger. It comes with one side. Overall the burgers were well seasoned and tasty. I wouldn't say that they are awesome but they were good. It wet my appetite and if I am around this part of the town again, i would definitely come back and try the other burgers. Although the breakfasts looked pretty yummy as well. read more

CB used to be our favorite restaurant in Narragansett, and we love the BYOB. We usually skip summers there, because of the huge crowds of tourists. We went for dinner recently as a group of six people, and were disappointed! The dinner menu seemed more like a lunch menu, and four of us thought our dinners were mediocre at best. This is the only restaurant with gluten free options in the Naragansett-Wakefield area. The food is always delicious, and I'd love nothing more to give five stars, but my experience today was unsettling. I ordered a just plain nuts burger and upon receiving the food found out it was not gluten free any longer. I proceeded to tell my waiter that I need gluten free food and she kindly allowed me to re-order, and so I ordered the gluten free appetizer and a chocolate milkshake. Upon receiving the milkshake, I took a sip only to discover it was chocolate chip cookie milkshake. This is not okay because I have ceiliac disease, and if I had ingested the gluten in the drink, I would have not only had extreme pain for half of the week, my reaction would have left me more prone to long-term health defects, such as cancer, ataxia, etc. When I asked about the shake and told her I had ordered chocolate, she gave me a rude look and attitude throughout the rest of the evening. Crazy burger really must educate their staff if they choose to carry gluten free items. The severity of ceiliac disease is not something to be taken lightly, and after this experience I can't say I'm inclined to come back any time soon. read more

First the positives: Cool, laid-back beach vibe, very good to excellent burgers, decent fries, friendly waitstaff. Now the not so positives... We certainly expected to wait and for a popular restaurant that's perfectly fine. What's not cool is the head waiter's complete inability to accurately estimate the wait. We were told "at least half an hour wait." Read that closely..."at least half an hour wait." What kind of a head waiter starts the wait time estimate with the phrase "at least..." In our case, it ended up being 75 minutes. Not cool. Not cool at all. The waitress was certainly friendly enough, but it took a good five minutes for us to get menus. Once we had the menus, the ordering went quickly and the food came out in a fair (not great) amount of time. But the waitress did commit a waiting moral sin as far as I'm concerned. Specifically, she took our order without writing anything down and then proceeded to mix up the extent of cooking on two of our burgers. Again, not cool. You can't win by not writing the order down. If it's 100% accurate, I won't be impressed and if it's only 99% correct I'm going to be ticked off. Next, the milkshakes. They were completely subpar. Too much milk and not enough shake. Too much foam, not think enough and, frankly, too small. For $4 I should get more than 16 oz of milkshake. Lastly, the prices are borderline overpriced and they included an automatic 15% gratuity. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 3 children, none older than 7. Automatic gratuity for four adults? Really Crazy Burger? Really? Again, the burgers are very good. But, save yourself the excessive wait and go with the takeout option. read more

This is my favorite restaurant to go to in Rhode Island when I visit my hometown. Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS. They have a smoothie machine and they mix up just about any fruit and veggie combo you can think of. My favorite thing to get on the menu is the vegan burdie mae burger. it is the perfect consistancy: crunchy, nutty, thick, soft ohmygod. and the homemade ketchup is to die for. their variety of burgers is amazing from classic beef to salmon to chicken to vegan options. the sweet potato fries are yum yum and the homemade pickles again, guess what? they're WONDERFUL. for dessert, the fried ice cream is out of this world, they use cornflakes and vanilla ice cream i think, i dont know and then smother the thing with caramel and chocolate. share it with some friends because after a meal and an appetizer, you wont be able to finish the whole thing. unless you have an amazing appetite in that case, all the more power to you. and one more thing. if you come here on weekdays between 4 and 7 (i think, you might want to call and check) you can do the all you can eat for two which is like $45 but you can eat ANYTHING on the menu excluding the steak or something fancy like that. its totally worth it, but i did it once and could barely move. if you're up to the challenge, go for it. and for the atmosphere? its so cute they have lights and things hanging from the ceiling, it is small and cozy and in the summertime (thats the best time to go) you can sit outside on their patio which is covered with ivy. BYOB! some nice beer is a good choice. i cant say enough good things about this place, try it for yourself. OH and they have breakfast. but i wont get started on that. read more
