They had breakfast, burgers, sushi, nachos, salads and really whatever you can think of....menu is pretty large & a bit overwhelming since I'm already indecisive as is so giving me more options is like asking me to never eat since everything sounds and looks good when hungry lol haha The owners are very friendly and place is definitely small. I ordered their Bulgogi burrito, Spicy Pork Nachos and side of fries. The portion sizes aren't bad for the price of the food. Honestly, they were bigger than I thought and definitely filled me and my roommate up, leaving left overs as well. The quality of food is decent and you get what you pay for. Unassuming little shack in a shady part of town, Crazy Grill has been around for years? People from Irvine even know of this place and rave about the food. How "Crazy!" (HAHA, gosh my humor is deplorable). Ordered the pastrami, bulgogi nachos (asked for no beans) and calamari. The pastrami portion was pretty skimpy but the meat was good -not the best (like from a specialty store) but pretty tasty regardless. Bulgogi nachos were good, the bulgogi meat wasn't as hot but very tender and flavorful. The green sauce that went with this dish was bland and not spicy at all. BUT I would get this dish again. For the calamari, we had asked for the appetizer but the server gave us the calamari + salad, which cost a few dollars more but we didn't feel like complaining. I reeeeally liked the calamari. Pre-made, by the looks of it but it was so crunchy and yummy. Still yummy the next day! Portions here, in general are pretty generous. However, I advise calling ahead for togo/pickup orders. We ordered in the restaurant and waited over 30 minutes. They have sushi but IMO, sushi should be eaten at restaurants that specialize in sushi, not a fusion place where 90% of the customers aren't ordering sushi...Just my .02 cents. Food was really underwhelming. My kid and Daddy got shrimp tempura; no one finished it. Calamari went untouched. I had the Sexy Mango roll and couldn't finish that, either. All in all, 2-3 star food. But why the one star? It wasn't the service. Bianca was really attentive and kind. It's because a vagrant walked right in and up to our table as we waited for our food and got in Daddy's face and asked for money. He would not back up (he smelled like urine) or leave until he got money. He was aggressive. I felt nervous because I was with my two small kids and this dude was obviously not quite right in the head. It's the very first time I've been approached while SITTING IN A RESTAURANT. I had this place bookmarked for a while and finally got to try this place. The restaurant is a bit small but the interior is very clean. I was very impressed of how clean it was. We went here when it was super windy and was glad there are indoor seating. We ate with a group of only 3 people. Their menu was quite extensive for a small place. After 28497273 hours of trying to search through their extensive menu, we finally decided on some bulgogi nachos ($7.99) and a #54 Super Hungry Roll ($14.00). The bulgogi nachos were underwhelming. I didn't feel like the portion size was enough for the price, and the toppings were blah and the bulgogi was blah. The Super Hungry Roll was HUGE! I expected it to be huge since it was a whopping $14.00... But yet it was just as blah as the nachos were. Couldn't fit the pieces into my mouth and everything fell apart while trying to put it into my mouth. Verdict: Overall the dining experience was meehhh. Although the customer service is good and the concept is cool, the food isn't special enough to get me to come back. The people running the place were very friendly, and helped me order. Note if you are ordering under a certain dollar amount they will charge additional fees. Came here and ordered a steak sandwich, and a pastrami burger and they tasted like your typical normal diner food, nothing exciting at all. This place has American, Mexican, and Sushi available to order, I think it's too much on the menu! It seems like there are over 100 things to pick from, it just made me confused! The variety is there menu is pretty sweet. Extensive variety of rolls varying from Rainbow to Spicy Tuna to Baked Lobster Roll. The price for each roll varies and they also have specials if you buy 2, 3 or 4 etc. Etc. The customer behind me ordered a baked shrimp roll and it looked delicious! I was inbetween beef fried rice or a Bulgogi Burrito. I got the Burrito which was a nice size. Inside it included beef, white rice, cheese and green peppers. I enjoyed it. The meat was a little chewy but I would order it again. Hubs ordered the 3 meat burrito minus the hashbrownd. His too looked very yummy. For drinks an orange juice and an Horchata for myself. First thing that happened when I walked in was the waitress asked me if I was preggo. I was taken aback by because I'm a pretty tiny girl. But I guess it's just what I was wearing. She apologized and said im not calling you fat. I guess I understand because this place serves mexican food and sushi. Maybe pregnant people come in here all the time when they have strange cravings. Anyways she made up for her minor cringe worthy moment by providing excellent service asking my sister and I if we needed anything several times. I ordered the bugolgi nachos, jalepeno bomb, and sun and kiss roll. The sushi was surprisingly good. Maybe not my first choice for sushi but the flavor was there and the portion was big. The ginger was not the best. The bugolgi nachos were huge for 8 bucks. However the avocados that came with it weren't ripe enough. The jalepeno bombs were perfectly spicy. Parking is easy. It's in a small lot but it doesn't look like it gets too much business. The inside is a lot nicer than the outside, and they also have one TV in the back. Crazy Grill isn't that "crazy" good and I tagged along people I worked with from Kaiser. Sure it totally has that Asian-fusion thing going on, but the food was pretty boring and you could probably find a joint similar anywhere really. The carne asada taco was standard (asada, onions, cilantro) and I really couldn't enjoy my spicy pork tacos at all as the marinade wasn't tasty. Also, I was a little peeved at the waitress. She told me that the spicy pork tacos come in two, but she didn't tell me that they were $1.90 each. The menu said $1.90 for the spicy pork taco and that's it - it doesn't explain that it's the price of each taco and that you had to get both. I guess what also irritated me was that they didn't have roja (red) salsa or Jarritos in tamarindo the day we came in. I feel that most restaurants would offer a wider selection to their customers if they want to keep them coming back for more. I will probably pass if anyone asks me to come with them to Crazy Grill. Having checked out the menus and the reviews I saw that the bulgogi tacos and bulgogi burritos were highly recommended. I decided to try the Bulgogi Tacos. I was getting my order to go so I walked up to the outside window and stood there for at least 5 mins being totally ignored. I asked another guy standing there whats up with this and he just laughed and said it was his first time here too. So after the guy gets his food they finally acknowledge my existence and take my order. The women taking the orders is kind of fobbie and seems really confused and flustered. I tell her I want 2 bulgogi tacos and an order of the soybeans. She says ok and then another lady working back there says they dont have the soybeans. The fobbie lady gets even more flustered and starts rattling on about soy beans and I say thats ok, I'll just take the tacos. yeesh!! So what seems like forever my tacos come up and I get them and get the hell out of there and go eat at the newly remodeled park just down the road, picking up a soda at the liquor in the mini mall next to this place. the tacos are not bad and are decent sized. I totally understand the mixed reviews for this place. The food, at least the tacos, are pretty good. The service, no where near good. If you decided to come here just know the service is terrible and be prepared for it. This location at first sight does not look like much. This place is a hidden GEM! The restaurant its self is unorthodox, in the fact that they serve sushi, burgers, and steak. I guess it lives it to its name, "crazy grill". Apparently they have a take out, sit & eat, and most astoundingly a delivery! This time I sprang for the popcorn sushi.... Amazing!!!! It was $10 but it came with lots of shrimp and 8 rolls. If you're in town and around the area I highly recommend it, doesn't seem to get the attention it deserves because of the location. I came back here with a friend today and actually had lunch inside. We ordered, paid, and sat down but I think they are a full service restaurant so you can sit, order, then pay. It was busy during lunch around 11:30AM, but there was still some seating open. Service was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and attentive even though it is more of a fast food type of place. We each got the crazy dinner combo (salad, teriyaki chicken, 4 pieces CA roll, 4 pieces crunch roll, and 3-4 pieces of gyoza) for $10.25 a plate. Everything was good, but we didn't finish our plates, so they gladly gave us a box to take the rest home. They have so many different foods here, you can't go wrong. When I saw this place I was interested/concerned. They say they offer Burgers, Teriyaki, Breakfast, Mexican Food & SUSHI?!?! I went with my Girlfriend. It's the closest sushi spot near us. I read the Yelp reviews and not many reviews in regards to the sushi. But all of the reviews love the Burgers. But we went for the Sushi. We ordered the $14.00 Shrimp & Lobster Roll, $11.00 Aloha Roll, $11.00 Sun Fire Roll, & $10.00 Deep Fried Spicy Tuna Roll. They are not open for dine in only to go. After ordering we waited 40 minutes before we got the food. It's located in a sketchy parking lot with a bunch of crack heads / meth heads walking around and yelling random things to you. So you can imagine when I say the 40 minutes felt like 3 hours. Once we finally got our food. The Deep Fried Spicy Tuna Roll was super dry and seemed over cooked, the Aloha Roll was just alright. The Sun Fire Roll lacked flavor. And finally the Shrimp & Lobster Roll was probably the best out of the 4 rolls. But it was very blasé sushi. Nothing special about this place. And the prices compare to most sushi restaurants. It's more on the level of grocery store sushi. IF we come back we will probably stick with a Burger and come in the day time. I love good surprises. Crazy Grill is one of those places that just comes out of nowhere to delight your senses. It is a gleaming example of pride of ownership and entrepreneurship. And it has one of the most random and interesting menus Ive seen this side of West LA. The owners are a young Korean couple, and they have obviously (and wisely) invested in making their place look as clean and inviting as their menu. They have completely refurbished what used to be a sad-looking, war-worn burger joint that had seen its better days. They've installed air conditioning and flowers and paint and nice furnishings, and a zillion little details to prove this is a nice restaurant, albeit in a humble locale. Nothing wrong with that. The food is downright amazing. Sure, with a menu as crazy as this one, not all items are a hit. But there are so many hits that you may never get around to trying the rest! First, the sushi is all amazing. Total quality and freshness here. This man is QUITE the sushi chef. I've tried maybe 15 rolls of all variations and each one is perrrrfect. Try the spicy mayo on any of the rools. Oh, and the chopped jalapenos in the various rolls are fantastic. The garlic edamame is one of those left-field items that is to de for. Here's a perfect lunch: start with the garlic edamame, order the fircracker roll and fisherman roll with the spicy mayo. Wash it down with a Coke, and have a mochie-and-ice cream for dessert. The breakfasts are killer. The huevos ranchers are a kick-in-the-pants spicy delight. My only complaint here is that the beans are probably canned and not always hot. You gotta watch that guys. Nearly all the breakfasts are 3-eggs to start with. They are a tasty bargain with real flavor and fresh ingredients. The burgers are average, though the salads are really good. The shrimp tempura is excellent with their delicate breading. The friend rice is good- not great -and the egg sandwich is fantastic. There is something for everybody here, and this place deserves to be better known than it is. Grab a quick bulgogi taco if you're in a hurry, or drop in for anything on their crazy menu. Really good!! And such a cool little place!! We were looking for something different after eating at Denny's, IHOP, etc. while on vacation at Disneyland -- and we found it!! The food, really good and a lot of variety. Sushi, Mexican, and even some simple American dishes if you have some picky kids like mine ;) The carne asada plate was fantastic, with a well-seasoned, char-broiled flavor and some classic beans and rice to go along. My wife had the chicken nachos and they were awesome!! Not sure you can say a whole lot about nachos, but these were sooooo good, especially with the marinated chicken on top!! -- I can only imagine they're even better with the carne asada on top. Now, we were probably that only table in the joint having Mexican -- everyone else was having sushi . It's all generally good but the large menu seems like a detriment too because service time can take longer than most are comfortable with. For example, the Bulgogi burrito is an excellent fusion item but you can wait upwards of 15 to 20 minutes. The staff may ask for a reminder of what you ordered and that's generally not a good sign for organization. If you have time to spare when hanging out, Crazy Grill is great. Looks sort of shabby on the outside, and even somewhat on the inside. But, we all know the best food comes from places like this! I came around 1pm on a weekday for lunch and was the only one there. Later on 2 other people came in to eat. I was helped immediately and you can choose where you want to sit upon entering. Its a Mexican-Korean inspired restaurant but some dishes are entirely Mexican, Korean, Japanese and even burgers sprinkled in. You don't come here for a Michelin-rated experience but more-so for the value factor. Service was quick and friendly. Server can speak either English or Spanish with no problems. If you want to spit some Korean, then you will have to talk to the owners, who do poke their head out into the dining area from time to time. I went with their korean taco choices, Bulgolgi and Spicy pork tacos. You have to order a minimum of 2 tacos each, not 1 of each. Eating 4 of these shouldn't be a problem though even for the skinny chicks. Taste was awesome although I preferred the Spicy Pork over the bulgolgi but wouldn't hesitate ordering them again. Beware - portions are really large! Two of us got a salad, roll, and two bulgogi tacos (minimum two tacos per order) and took half of the stuff home. The rolls were huge - like twice the circumference of a regular roll. Seriously crazy. And yes, the service is that bad. The woman was really friendly and they did have a sign that says they were looking to hire some help, but in the meantime, expect to wait long periods to order or get anything. The waitress was not only taking our orders, getting our food, taking orders from the front to-go windows, but I think she might have been packing their food, too. Jeez. She also spent a lot of time talking to what looked like her friends, who would drop by. The food itself is not the best quality. I wouldn't really recommend the salmon skin salad (which was also large, came with a lot of lettuce and cucumbers and strips of salmon skin) bc the salmon was really too fishy for me. We got the Philly Crunch Roll, a roll with imitation crab, shrimp, cream cheese, and avocado, which was deep fried. It was pretty good if you like imitation crab (which I don't mind). The bulgogi tacos were just average but large. The place is pretty small and can get pretty cold with the air conditioning blowing right on you under certain tables, so bring a jacket. Great food. Super slow tho. It would have been nice to get everyone's plate at the same time. It was about 15-20 minutes between EACH person's plate. Otherwise, we enjoyed it. It's a little bit of a hole in the wall, nothing fancy, but the food was very good. read more

So they have a huge variety of food. Burgers, sandwiches, burritos, tacos, sushi, teriyaki, and other stuff. Was looking through all the pictures on Yelp so decided to come and give it a try. We came for like a late lunch/early dinner so no one was there. A few tables inside so not that great for huge parties. What we got: Sun & Kiss Roll ($10): inside had spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, and cucumber. Outside was salmon, avocado, and a dot of sriracha. It also came with some kind of sauce/dressing on the side. Not sure what it was, but I didn't think it added anything to the roll. Bulgogi Burrito ($7): BF was really looking forward to it, but it had too much rice. It was probably 2/3 rice and 1/3 of everything else. Bulgogi flavor was good from what I could find of it, but probably wouldn't get it again. Service: It was your average service. We sat down and ordered. Menu is also on the wall. This place is pretty cool since it's an Asian Fusion and mexicsn restaurant mixed together. XD They serve sushi, tacos, burritos, burgers, etc. I got the volcano roll which had rice, cucumber, avocado, and salmon. There were 8 pieces! There's this special sauce they put on it that makes it so delicious! But I got sick of it and didnt even finish the roll hahaha. I also got the bulgogi burrito. It was really big! !! The bulgogi tasted good but I didn't like the rice... Anyways, small place but good enough for me. There's one table for outdoor seating. You can order to go outside the window. A very strong 4.5 stars. Usually I am very wary of places with such a diverse menu but these guys have a great repertoire. Bulgogi tacos were ALL THAT. Sweet Korean meat with a bit of bite. By that not the most prime cut it needed some chewing bring out the flavors. I am partial to these cuts as the have way more flavor than any loin or filet cut. The pico on top rounded out the experience. A huge taco for under two bucks. We also had the katsu, teriyaki, egg rolls, salmon salad and scallop roll. All masterfully executed. The look of the roll was a bit funky but pure heaven in da mouff, the cook knows how to make a happy belly. It's all about the food, never mind the service, decor or location. Came here with my family. We were expecting to dine-in, not eating to-go. We walked in, and had no acknowledgement from any staff worker. There was one young female worker who just stared at us. Rude. My family and I seated ourselves and after waiting awhile, no one came to take our order. We decided to leave afterwards. I'm not sure how this place is supposed to work, but if we were supposed to order outside and then bring the food ourselves into the inside dining tables (?), the young female worker should've told us that, instead of just glaring at us. I'm disappointed I couldn't eat any of their food but I doubt I'll be back. Their customer service (or rather, lack of) was terrible and it's too out of my way to come again.
