So I'm driving into Santa Ana from Riverside for a meeting. The freeways were kind to me, because I arrived early. To quench my Lunch time hunger pains I searched for a place on Yelp. When I read the menu I realized I needed to check this place out. The place has the deceiving appearance of a standard burger shack; their menu says different. Wow! This place was a nice surprise. I came across it on yelp and everything looked good so me and my friend decided to give it a try. The outside surrounding area looked a little sketch but the food made up for it. I got the Hawaiian roll and pot stickers and my buddy got the Raman with two rolls special. The tuna on my roll was nice and cold, just how I like it. My friend enjoyed every thing he got as well. There were people ordering food from the outside through the service windows and a few tables inside. Worst service!!!! Been here before and loved their sushi, after calling in an order and the Asian Man unable to understand me he hangs up on me, tried calling multiple times after that and no answer. Got the chicken CA bowl to go, hoping it would be fast. It took 15 min for a to go order and I was one of two people there. The chicken is very flavorful, and after a few bites, I realized it was overwhelming. There wasn't enough rice to balance out the salt content. The CA rolls added some variety to the dish, and were massive - eating these filled me up quickly so I ended up giving the rest of my chicken to my bf to finish. The food is average. They serve a seemingly random array of dishes from Mexican to Japanese to burgers - I concluded that a jack of all trades is a master of none. I most likely won't come by again. read more

This place was a little hard to find, I almost drove right past it. It's right on the side facing the street, it's a little small but I'd call it cozy. The cashier was nice enough to wait for me to order. I think I got the crunch role and a spicy beef rice dish with some simple rolls. The meat was very spicy and the rolls were pretty good. It has breakfast, Ramen, Mexican food, American, Burgers and Sushi! But I decided to give it a shot. Based on some reviews and photo I've seen. I tried the carne asada Fries and it was so yummy! Probably 1 of the best carne asada fries I've had. I minus 1 star because I saw the Asian man put sour cream in my carne asada fries and after that I saw him lick his fingers! That was Unsanitized . Just spent a whole 30 minutes trying to call to place an order. No answer So I drove there, giving them the benefit of the doubt. OPEN sign is on, Asian lady there. She finally approaches me as I stood at the window waiting again and she says to wait, they're not open. It is now past noon and they're not open? I really enjoyed this place, it's a cozy little spot bordering Anaheim and Garden Grove. First off, the menu is a little strange, not that, that is a bad thing I sort of enjoy the variety and choices. As the description says, it's Japanese and Mexican fusion. You can get your fish and your asada fix all at the same spot! Didn't venture down the Mexican side as I was there for sushi. Started off with fried zucchini and chili cheese fries, both were satisfying. Then to the main course of Seafood ramen and 2 orders of their cali rolls. Again both were satisfying. Really good experience. Server was very attentive, granted we were the only 2 there at the time, she didn't get complacent. Price was reasonably decent. Out of the many times that I visited this place . today was the one day that I was really disappointed .The time it took to get my drink and good started was very long . it took so long that I just got everything at once when the girl came around . I got my food and I was missing a few things and the girl serving me didn't seem to know what she was doing . till one of the kitchen staff came to help me . To me there is something really wrong there . In the end I ate my food I finished my drink and I didn't get a refill on my drink . This is my favorite place to eat by far! Whenever I am craving something cheap and delicious, I allllwayyyyyss, ALLWAAAYS think to go here. The menu has a wide selection of foods so it really works out if someone you're hanging with aren't feeling for what you want to eat. I have yet to try all that is on the menu, but for those that I have tried the proportions are big and I have not been disappointed. My personal favorites are the burritos (any kinds on there); they're always calling to me when I'm feeling like a lard for junkfoods. Caterpillar rolls, Milaneza, Nachos, and the breakfast menu there are also one of my go-to's, even though I really, really want to try everything else on the menu. This small little jewel makes me wish I had a stomach as big as my eyes :). Sometimes service can be slow but it is a small business, and I believe that there should be an inherent understanding of the lack of staffs and services does not necessarily outweigh the quality of foods and the good vibes of the place. This review is only for the sausage and egg breakfast burrito. I have now had this wonderfully big fat burrito twice now. I was super hungry the first time I tried it so I didn't want to say anything because everything tastes great when you're hungry. I have to say I really enjoy the burrito. It is pretty big burrito chocked full of egg, sausage, and hashbrowns. There is a little cheese in there also and it is served with a green salsa that is a little mild for my taste, but flavorful none the less. The burrito is rather filling. Both times I have had it I wasn't hungry for a while....probably an hour or so...just kidding. There menu is pretty crazy. They have everything from sushi to hot noodle soups. I happened to be shopping at the block in Orange and I saw I had this place bookmarked. This spot is located in an area that is kinda hood. The shopping center is run down and the parking lot was jam packed. Nevertheless, I was determined to try it out since it has good reviews. There's a walk up window for to go orders but there's also indoor dining room. The menu has a lot of variety from asian food, sushi, Mexican food, burgers, to American breakfast options. Ordered the lobster shrimp roll, Carne asada taco, and katsu chicken. The portions are huge. The food is pretty tasty for what it is. The green salsa that comes with the taco is very spicy. Bad customer service***** I went on my lunch break with coworkers since they recommended going there. We ordered our food and everyone got their sushi rolls except me. People arrived a the establishment after us and got their food before I did. My friend went to complain and the waitress returned to us to ask me to repeat my order (UMM REALLY!!!). I had noticed the waitress seemed rushed but the place was not that crowded! My roll finally was finally brought out with an attitude and all she said was "Here!" I was like wow really! Lol Roll was pretty good! I just knew at that point that she was not getting a tip! We were given a 10% discount and that's because we complained. They didn't even want to offer us that much. This thing came with Pico de Gallo, Cheese, Cilantro, and Spanish Rice. The flavors were all there. I was treated to both sweet, and spicy, HOWEVER there was just too much gristle. Obviously I'd rather have the incidences be 0, but this was more like 3 tough chewy bites of gristle in the Bulgogi. That's just completely unacceptable. Other than that the veggies were still garden fresh and full of flavor and textures to provide a most wonderful story upon my palate. The marinade on the meat was perfectly sweet without being too sweet and married the other ingredients like the couple in The Notebook! Also.. I'm not sure why, but my server/owner did not give me utencils, and I fully understand I could have asked for them, but I'm just not quite sure why that managed to slip her mind. Their prices are very fair for the products they provide. They feature American, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican specialties and sometimes fuse them together as well! They even have sushi rolls, but I cannot comment on them. Seating in this place proves quaint with regular seating both insiide and out. Decor is very minimal, but they have a fairly vibrant palate, a flat screen TV, and play background music at a level that is still conducive to conversation. I was a bit skeptical when my friend was like, "Hey! Let's go to this Asian, Mexican, American grill," but I ended up pleasantly surprised. When we arrived the first thing I noticed was a giant rasta-monkey sitting in the parking lot, which genuinely freaked me out. Why is he there silently judging me for my food choices? The restaurant itself looks a bit sketchy on the outside but surprisingly comfortable on the inside with a TV playing some sports. You can sit wherever you want and the waitress was extremely nice and helpful when we had questions about the menu. We wanted to mix it up a bit so we started with the jalapeño bombs then my friend ordered the Super Hungry Roll, which is giant, and I ended up with the Bulgogi nachos. The jalapeno bombs were awesome. They were spicy and stuffed with cream cheese, tuna, and other delicious things. The Super Hungry Roll is the King Kong of rolls and could quite possibly take over Japan. Despite everything you can think of being in this roll it was really good and everything complimented each other. The nachos were good and the meat tasted amazingly but my problem with them is that there wasn't enough cheese. Very creative, very well executed food dishes! The sushi isn't top notch, but, it is very good. Service is slow, but, competent. If you flag them down they are quick. They are looking for help so perhaps that is why they are slow. They do a few things that annoy me... like not having napkins on the table (or available anywhere in the dining room). Not giving us dishes to eat from...thereby eliminating sharing food. And, either give us enough silverware to set the table...or have it available. Same goes for chopstix. When eating asian food I actually prefer chopstix and hate having to ask for them. It might seem insignificant ... but, for me the little things count. When I eat out I want to relax and enjoy and not have to wait to eat my food because there are no dishes or silverware to eat with and having to wait on your slow service in order to get my place settings is annoying. Anyway, I'd love to give a compliment to the chef(s) because the food was well cooked and nicely presented. Fix the service times and I can see this place being constantly packed. it is VERY small inside but has a huge to go window so I'm guessing lots of ppl order to go. I found out about this place through a friend of mine and decided to give it a try based on the 4 star average. My first impressions were a little underwhelming. Once I got past the sketchy look of the surroundings, I decided to give it a try. As I walked up, I was a little unsure whether it was a fast food order type place or a sit down type restaurant. Its definitely more of a fast food type restaurant. The first thing that caused me to be a bit confused was the location of the cash register and where to order. There were really no people up front whom I could speak with immediately and it took me a few minutes to get the attention of someone who could help. While I was looking for someone to help, I took a look over the menu and saw that they had quite a range of foods from mexican food, japanese, and american burgers. Sort of a fusion of the three and I"m usually of the opinion that if you spread yourself too thin, everything is of mediocre quality instead of being really great at one thing. Regardless, I wanted to reserve my judgement until i tasted the food. I ordered a #74 which was the california bowl with chicken teriyaki. It cost about $6.50 and came with out a drink I waited around 5-10 minutes for my food and when it arrived, the portion size looked pretty small. It came with 4 pieces of california rolls, rice, and chicken. The food quality was respectable and tasted fresh but the portion hardly filled me up. That's why I decided to dock a star. I wish they were a bit more generous in their amount. The other reason I decided to dock a star was because of their service. The workers there didn't really smile or look like they enjoyed being there at all. I waited around looking for someone to help me and I really didn't feel that well taken care of. I wasn't offended by any means but I think that if they just put more joy and enthusiasm in what they did, it would've been a different experience. The bulgolgi tacos were juicy and fresh. However it's a mix of sweet meat with tangy vegetables and I personally don't like that; my friend that I shared it with though, loved it. Short review for this one... Food is cheap but you get what you pay for.... Most of the food that we ordered (especially the rolls) came out like they were old dishes that got returned or something. The bulgogi was extremely chewy like trying to chew on rubber. On top of that, the service was really, really, slow and they also forgot two of our orders. Had dinner at Crazy Grill this past Friday while visiting some friends that live in the area. After much debate over what to eat for dinner, we settled on Crazy Grill. Parking: Parking was easy. They have a private lot with enough spaces. Service: The service was excellent. This is a small mom and pop restaurant. The couple running the place are super friendly and attentive. They are willing to accommodate their guests! Food: The food is good. They have a huge variety, so if you have a bunch on indecisive friends this joint will definitely have something for everyone. They have everything from sushi to burgers. I ordered the Crazy Dinner Combo, which comes with Grilled Chicken, Salad, Gyoza, California Roll, and Crunchy Roll. The food was very tasty and not too unhealthy. I skipped the gyoza and gave them to my friends so that I could stick as close to my diet as possible. Others in my party had Burgers, Ramen, and a Breakfast burrito. Everyone seemed satisfied. Overall great service, and decent food. *I am writing this review as I am savoring the last time I will order the Bulgogi Nachos here* Scenario: It's Friday night and its going to be a long night for me (work-wise). The menu looks really appetizing, but I really wanted something sweet and with fries or nachos. The service was actually very friendly and accommodating, compare to previous reviews. I thought it was funny that the asian lady me if I'd been help yet. Then 3 minutes later, a customer of Hispanic descent got helped by the hispanic lady. I also thought it was funny that there was a Korean cook and a Hispanic cook, guess they're trying to keep it authentic. *Joke: I wonder if they fuse together when they're working on fusion food like Dragon Ball Z LOL. Anyways, the food was okay. I probably will never order it again. It was a conglomerate of items, it was basically a fusion of Asian/Mexican/American food all rolled into one. There was pico de gallo, salsa verde, sour cream, mexican cheese, melted cheese, bulgogi, jalapenos, bean, avocado, etc. It was just too much for me. Maybe I've been soiled by Super Sergios, Albatros, Alertos (back when it was good), as I'll admit I've had my fair share of [insert meat] fries/nachos in my life time. I think it was the melted cheese, it just did not sit well with me. 5-Star Scenario: Everything was good up until the food and the food is probably one of a few things that can take away 2-3 points for me. Drove by this place today on the way home from Disneyland and I'm glad I stopped by. I read the reviews on yelp and I ordered the bulgogi burrito that people were raving about. And I have to say...I've tried bulgogi burritos in other places, but this one has to be the best one I've tried so far. ****But be warned--bulgogi burritos are meant to be on the sweeter side of food so if you don't like that...then it's better to order one of their other menu options. And I also ordered a carne asada taco and it was pretty dang amazing. Also, it gets better...it was only 99 cents! Good size. Good meat to vegetables to tortilla ratio. And the green sauce they give you is delish. The burrito was $6.45 and the taco was $.99 Good sized meal and it only cost me around $8 plus tax!! Came to crazy grill after a local gave me a tip. And honestly, it delivered. It's shabby but delicious. You can either order at the large outside window or sit in the small indoor dining room on the side. My friend and I decided to go full force and order Japanese and Mexican. I had the hungry roll which was huge and had everything on it you could ever desire. She went with the bulgogi nachos. And re bulgogi is just like everyone says, full of flavor and delicious. I have to admit, I've never been inside, but we order delivery to our office when we want to stay in and eat an awesome meal! They have Asian and Mexican food. Everything I've tried is really good! I usually stick to the bulgogi tacos and seaweed salad. Even their sushi rolls are good! Huge chicken sandwiches, huge salads, yummy burgers, and they have breakfast! Another visit, i couldn't decide what I wanted and the owner (i think) recommended the bulgogi burrito, an epic mix of Korean marinaded sweet beef and a traditional so cal beans, rice, cilantro and onion filled burrito. Breakfast burritos, 9/10 über dank for any morning. Today, the pollo (asada) burrito at lunch was so inspiring my lady wanted one for dinner. I switched to the carne asada wet burrito and was impressed again, tender, succulent carne asada, no gnarly chewiness. And the jalepeño poppers looked just like they did in the picture garnished and rested on a bed of fried (noodles?) The service is waaaay better, and my food always seems choice.
