They have happy hour and I believe they have a BOGO 50% all day long on certain sushi's but they ALL taste great. Apps are good too and hand rolls are fairly priced. I decided to get the 3 Item Bento Dinner Box with Bulgogi, sashimi, and mixed tempura. Each box comes with salad, rice, and miso soup. Once delivered, I was excited to dig in. I loved the variety of veggies they had for the tempura, the sashimi tasted pretty good, and the bulgogi was okay but I could've either done with out it or would have loved to order double of the sashimi or tempura. Tried it this past week 8/6/2021 to be exact. Had a few rolls, nice presentation and tasty. We asked for a fee extra sauces to try and several were flavorful. Overall I would recommend you try it. And please don't let this discourage you from trying it but this is more a message to the ownership about a few design and maintenance items I noticed. Some may think I'm being picky and just beating down a small business, and that's not the intent as noted by the 4 star rating. The food was solid. From a consumer stand point, and especially from a establishment serving raw food, I would expect superior cleanliness. (Note, I did peek in the kitchen and it appeared much cleaner than the restrooms or dining room. Debris on the floor, dust and the restrooms are in serious need of some elbow grease if not more. The decor of the restaurant is nice and would be much better if the dining room had dimmers and rather that defused light bulbs (which are currently being used) they swapped them for no more that 30-40 degree, LED (code now), 2500-2700k dimmable bulbs. This will create a much more visually appealing environment. The decor is nice but the lighting is a bit harsh and makes it feel slightly off and not sexy. And it could be. Next, the music was on the House side of clubby and a bit rushed for the experience this restaurant offers. Ownership should consider creating a more subdued hip version that is played here. YouTube music with a $1 per month prescription will help you create the right vibe. It was a bit off and the music didn't fit the experience a sushi spot should be. You might have to experiment and perhaps I was there on a experimental evening. I can explain this better in person. I'd love to love this place but these things are keeping me from that. I have friends who are in the restaurant design business, my wife used to be a designer and I regular design homes and places so I have an eye for this stuff and I'm not offering any services, just would love to see this place thrive long term. read more

I have no idea how this place gets an average 4 star rating, unless most of the ratings come from friends and family of the owners themselves. The quality of sushi was at best "sushi-grade", most items (amberjack, yellowtail, red snapper). Giving them the extra star for an ok ambiance and the quality of albacore sashimi, which was decent. This is my go to glendale sushi spot. The lemon roll is amazing. Their service is slow but not bad slow. Their food has been good everytime I've eaten here and have never dealt with those random bad fish rolls. All in all, favorite sushi spot in Glendale. They can get very busy tho if you're not lucky. Warm salmon and bizzar service At least 5 servers came to our table to take our order and to check on us. The service was confusing because servers were wearing different colors of uniform. You did think that they each indicate a different position but it seems like there's no difference between them. There's not a designated server for our table. We can ask anyone to take our order which is weird. It took us so long to get the servers attention as they appears to be busy. The salmon in my salmon roll was warm. Luckily I didn't feel sick after I had it. The food is overpriced in general. You can use the same price and get a bigger portion of food from sushi shop around the area. A lady walked into the restaurant with her son and she asked for money table by table. She even has a small cardboard sign with her. Not sure why she was allowed to walk in the first place. Be aware of automated tips! Food and service was good, but be careful when you select the tip that's automatically calculated. After I selected the 20% tip, which I was happy to do since the service and food were good, I recalculated and it turns out the tip amount was actually closer to 24%. When I asked the female manager, she said that the tip is automated to be calculated for the price before the BOGO half off prices - which is understandable but should be stated somewhere. I don't mind paying good tip for good service, but it feels like I was tricked. Yay!! Crazy Rock'N Sushi took me by surprise and was very yummy! Usually I don't go for places that serve a ton of Americanized sushi rolls because usually they don't have as high of quality fish. That's not the case here - we ordered the dragon roll (imitation crab meat on the inside and eel on the outside) along with cajun roll (spicy tuna inside, tuna outside). Both were delicious! Plus they were under the category for buy 1 get second roll for 50% off which saves alot of money. I've also ordered their nigiri sushi, most of which were high quality. Just one time the salmon belly was sort of fishy. But for the price, it can be forgiven. The toro was my favorite (fatty tuna), but also more expensive at M.P $12 for 2 pieces of sushi. We go there very frequently because the booths are kid friendly. However the staff is not kid friendly or people friendly. Somehow they managed to get people who hate their job to greet customers. The food is very mediocre, we come because it's well priced. The star of the show is the spicy tuna on crispy rice, that is delicious. We ordered the shrimp noodles (disgusting), the veggie udon not bad, moon roll not bad, fantasy roll not bad, shrimp fried rice meh. One last thing, please wipe the menus. We ordered the assorted shrimp and veggie tempura, fried calamari, truffle hunter roll (server's recommendation), fire cracker roll, and mochi ice cream. Everything was so delicious! Both rolls tasted fresh and generous in size. The crowd's favorite was the truffle hunter roll, so definitely recommend trying this roll! Overall 10/10 dining experience. I actually really liked this place. I tried the yellow tail jalapeño, rose roll and albacore delight. All 3 were 10/10 choices. Also had the baked mussels, which were to die for. Service was typical for a sushi restaurant. Super accommodating, but I wish they would check up on us more than once in a while. Sushi rolls are what their menu is heavily weighted in with variations that can choke you. The quality is average and masked well with sauces. This is perfect if your palette is not strictly for the taste of raw seafood. Pricing is on the premium side for a complete meal. Do expect to separate yourself from a good amount of money. What is most disappointing is their false advertising. Their server denied their specials for drinks even though we showed him their own website. He offered no explanation other than "we don't do that anymore." Their Bento Boxes are not even served in an actual Bento Box. Our items came out in small trails sitting on a cafeteria-like tray. How difficult is it for a Japanese Sushi restaurant to use an actual Bento Box? Is the restaurant supply store too far? Was it too difficult to order them online? The food court in the mall even uses an actual Bento Box for their Bento Box meals. With adequate service from most of our experience and a quality-to-value ratio on the low side, there are far better alternatives in this city. This restaurant space has seen many turnovers in the past 10 years. I am guessing the name placard will change soon too. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wear gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment recently, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: Parking is quite easy because this establishment is located in a very big parking lot with other establishments near it. Food: The food here is very delicious and tasty. Good portion sushis. I ordered takeout through Yelp/Grubhub app. My order was on time as promised in the app. Pickup was easy, they have a loading zone to park your car and a pickup counter. They were so generous with the condiments. We had a lot left over after our meal. I'm taking a star off for the quality for the price paid. I wish there were more eel for the Tiger Roll. Their salmon is not that high quality, not much butteriness at all. The poke bowl had some inedible chunks of their Spring mix. Wish their was more fish on that poke bowl too. However, the poke sauce did compliment the poke well. Udon with Mixed Tempura was spot on with the chewiness of the Udon, subtle veggies on the broth and the generous amount of tempura veggies/shrimp that goes with it. It does come with Tempura sauce as well. Only thing it can improve on is less saltiness. Other than that, it is amazing! I would still recommend getting your sushi fix here but just a warning, quality to the price you pay may not be worth it. I will go here again if I'm not willing to drive too far. They do have outdoor seating. Parking is either street parking or the 90 minutes free parking lot in the back of the restaurant. read more

LOVED this place (past tense) & always went here with my family... we've been going here for years! through different management lol. today was my mom's birthday & my aunt made a reservation for 6pm. i arrived around 5:55 because i wanted to set up balloons & a cake before everybody else arrived but nobody paid attention to me. the people at the front asked what i was waiting for & i told them about the 6pm reservation. a guy said our table wasn't ready yet. i waited a while and the people at the front just stared at me... i finally asked if our table was ready... it had been 6:20 at this point... the lady finally walked us to our table and then said that it was still being cleaned... then said my entire party had to be here... huh? regardless of if our entire party was present or not, we reserved for 6pm... why isn't there a table ready? the lady was then rude & told me that my entire party needs to arrive sooner because there's another reservation at 8pm... why is that my business? don't you have other tables they can sit at? so unprofessional... they rushed us to order & then rushed us and started cleaning away the entire table when we weren't even done yet... gave us boxes and basically started kicking us out... so rude... i miss the old manager/owner... she was much more personable & took time to talk to my family too! new management seems so unprofessional & only cares about making money & not giving good service or experience... unfortunate. read more
