I always like to try new sushi places. Crazy Rock'N Sushi is a modern gem with wasabi delivered from ancient Japan--so, so good! They have three TVs and a dessert menu like no other. Really good place! Highly recommend the shrimp shumai and the red dragon roll. Off the charts good, will definitely be going back for both of those. All good things besides it's pretty cold in the restaurant so you'll need to order a few beers or bring a jacket. read more

Went there for the first time last week with my mom to try some sushi. We loved it. Service was great, friendly, attentive and very helpful. Sushi was really good too, we also tried the Beef Gyoza, and Salmon Skin Salad which were pretty good too. Wanted to eat at Gomen but they were closed for a week so came into this place next door because it was just ok the last time I ate here when they first open and had a good lunch special. To my surprise, they got rid of the ramen lunch special and now I have to pay the dinner price. As I was hungry, we just ordered the spicy miso ramen. After about 15 minutes, we had to ask a guy who was not our waiter what is taking so long as there were only two other small groups in the restaurant at lunch time. Staff told us they were "changing out the ramen" whatever that means and now has to wait to heat up the soup. Long story short, I got my ramen 30 minutes after the order. This is completely unacceptable. If you want ramen, just go to Gomen, stay away from this place. The workers are a bunch of clowns just joking around with each other and with their friends that are stopping by. This was my second time eating here and it will definitely be my last!!! read more

This is a really good place to buy moderate quality sushi at moderate prices. The problem is the take out and the cashiers/servers. The sushi staff are great. So i go in order 2 california rolls under $10 bucks. It takes almost no time to make them. Then they are taken back to the cashier and sits until the cashier decides to put them in a bag. They are fairly slow about takeout. I guess they want it to be a enjoyable dinning experience. I just want to order, pay, and leave. It's the young inexperienced servers/cashiers that make me hesitate coming back unless I have 15 minutes to wait for them to decide to put them in a bag. . The sushi is good. Also, they do not sell INARI Sushi- sushi in those fried tofu pockets. Why not? read more

Absolutely amazing! Go to sushi spot for so many reasons: food is flavorful and fresh, staff is warm and helpful always, and it's on the cheaper side for sushi. I really, really wanted to like this place because we had such a good experience during our first visit. I came here with my team for a coworkers birthday a few weeks ago and we had a great time, fish was pretty good, ramen was above average for a sushi spot and they let my coworker pick whatever desert she wanted from the menu as a birthday treat. I was thrilled that we had found a sushi spot a liked since we only work a block away. So I suggested coming back the following week and brought our boss. It was 6 of us and 3 of us ordered the a lunch special, 2 of us ordered ramen and my boss ordered a bento box. The 3 lunch specials include an additional plate of assorted fish sushi. The food came out for everyone, my boss' was last because it was cooked food -- normal, I was eating my roll and patiently waiting for my additional sushi plate. I noticed only one of us from 3 had received theirs. So I ask the waiter if he could check on the 2 missing dishes. He came back to tell me that another waiter had told him that he had already delivered 1 of the 2 missing plates. We proceeded to tell him that we hadn't received it and that he was mistaken. He said no worries, I'll let the chefs know. A few mins later, they bring 1 of the missing dishes. At this point everyone is finishing their meals and I had finished my roll as well. 5 more mins go by and I still hadn't received my missing dish. I ask our waiter again and he goes to the back only to return with another waiter (ironically the waiter who had served us the very first time we came) and he proceeds to tell us that the dish had been delivered. Again, I tell him I hadn't received my dish and that there had only been 2 additional lunch special dishes served to us. He then repeats that we're wrong and that remembers setting it in the middle of the table -- this is when my boss jumps in because the guy is pretty much calling us liars at this point and let's him know that it's fine don't bring us anything, we just won't ever come back. 1. Why would he set the dish in the middle of the table if it's a part of someone's lunch special? Every other time something was delivered they asked our table who had ordered it so they can set the dish in front of them. Also, he want our server so if he didn't know who had ordered the dish, more of a reason to ask. 2. Even if he had set the dish in the middle of the table, which he didn't, why would my coworkers eat it? They wouldn't!! My boss hates fish which is why he got a bento, 2 of us were eating ramen and didn't order sushi, 1 of us had received her additional dish already, and then my other coworker received his last -- leaving me with a missing dish. 3. Why continue to argue with customers about this issue?? Why tell us that the dish is on its way only to have us waiting and then tell us again that the dish has already been delivered?? At this point the missing dish wasn't the issue, it's the way the staff handled the situation. I mean, my boss had to step in because he was getting fed up with the waiter's attitude. Totally ridiculous. Anyway, they ended up taking off a dish from our bill but it was too late to make amends after the whole debacle. Staff seems un-trained and un-experienced. Sad to say, we won't be returning. read more

Been here a couple times now and it's been great. Nice and clean interior, super nice staff. John has been our waiter both times and he's awesome, but everyone here is just super nice and welcoming. I hate walking into a place and feeling like I'm an inconvenience. Not here, very welcoming staff, which I love. Great Sushi at a great price. The "buy 2 rolls, get one free" is an amazing offer. We enjoyed the Calamari Tempura Roll, the Black Dragon Roll, and the Spicy Dragon Roll. All 3 were fresh tasting and very flavorful. Also a glass of Sapporo beer and Sauvignon Blanc wine for $4.95 and $4.45 respectively is a very reasonable price and had very generous pours. We will definitely be back for some of the other great looking items on the menu. read more
