My wife saw the ad about Gomen Ramen restaurant on Instagram and we decided to go try some Ramen, shrimp fried rice, and something more but guess what? They are closed due to the sewer problem. Dissapointed! Then we found next door, called Crazy Rock'N sushi. My wife knew this place before but we never tried it yet. Tonight finally we got there. Vibes are young, dark lighting, trendy w open dining area in the middle, booth tables are on the wall. Most of customers are young. I got the menus and hard time to go over all together at a time. So many menus....appetizers, entrée, sushi, specialty rolls, sake list, and a lot more.... We had our fave menu all the time, got the same ones, 2 dragon rolls and 1 super Philly roll w hot Sake. We both said so good. The rice was perfect. Eel sauce was flavorful, thick, chunky, well balanced w fresh salmon and cream cheese. They gave us complementary corn soup in the beginning. Delicious! I got used to start miso soup first but typically corn soup is popular in Korea to give good appetite. The service was super fast, friendly. Price and quality both are great. I didn't know they had happy hour all day. We got 50% off for the 2nd roll. I didn't see any Japanese, korean staff including manager here. Seemed like korean ownership but no one was korean. Haha... We found a great sushi place again near our home. Definitely come again... My wife said, I wanted to try ice cream macarons but I was full. We will try other foods like Udon combo w tempura, Donburi, some macarons, and etc next time. Great vibes, great taste for sushi lovers. Loved happy hour.

I found Crazy Rock'N Sushi by accident when I went to Gomen ramen restaurant for dinner. I saw so many advertising about this Sushi restaurant for a while but I didn't try before. Finally my hubby and I decided to try it out. First, the parking is big in the strip mall on Katella. Second, the vibe is trendy, young vibe w dark lighting, I felt different ambiance than typical Japanese sushi restaurants. Lots of customers are young people. That is why the restaurant has toy, doll vending machine at the entrance, very popular in Japan and Korea. For the menus, lots of choices for specialty rolls, Sushi, Donburi, Udon, appetizers, and all different entrées, and desserts including ice cream Macarons. Wow....so many even Sake list. Too many to go over...it takes time. I can't taste everything. Too many menus. Little confused on the first day. The servers are very friendly. The service was so fast even the dinner time was around 6. I really liked all including ambiance, price, quality, and service today. Happy Hour: all day, 2nd specialty roll is 50% off. My hubby liked here for the young, energetic, trendy vibe w quality of specialty rolls and friendly service. We had 2 Dragon rolls and 1 Super Philly roll. Sooooo good, perfect rice, perfect eel sauce, little smaller than other sushi places. We loved the flavors. Just great! We will definitely come back for the different menu. I want to try ice cream Macaron next time. I am from France....miss the desserts like macarons. Overall, we had a great dinner tonight.

I have been on the hunt for sushi spots for a great happy hour deal. I finally found my 3rd location here in Orange County. The restuarant is veru cute with their design and the service is very nice. To get to the meat and potatos..... I can confirm that they have a bogo 1/2 off. We all know sushi is pricey at times so if there is a bogo best believe I am enjoying myself. As you can see i love roll woth texture. If you haven't gone in a long time the menu has changed for the better. Evn there specialty rolls were half off.

First timer! The rolls were perfectly crafted. I asked for light sauce. They have a BOGO 50% on second one. POV: this is a resy restaurant so we got the $100 off credited back. Service is excellent. I had no idea they take reservations also. The space is cute. Small strip mall, ample parking. I'd come back. Rice to fish ratio is good.

Came back again today, and the food is still just as delicious as ever. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the visit, which made the experience even better. The Godzilla Roll stood out with its bold flavors. The combination of sauce, crispy fried onions, and jalapeño gave it a nice spicy kick with great depth of flavor. We also ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer, and it was excellent. Perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and moist on the inside. The uni sushi and house-cooked shrimp were both fresh and flavorful, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. Another consistently satisfying visit.

Came here in December 2025 and ordered some sushi for myself! 1) spider roll 2) Hawaiian volcano roll 3) zen sashimi roll 4) butterfly roll Everything was delicious and nice portion size. All for $57 so was reasonable especially if part of it was taken care of by my credit card benefit. I'll be back again!

Went in for the lunch special! Prices vary depending on roll but I got 4 rolls for $62. The special is buy 1 get 1 50% off. Took the other two to go! The rolls are amazing! My favorite is the honey walnut shrimp. They taste very fresh and so delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. You get your food fairly quickly. It's a quiet, small place. No outside dinning.

There's a reason why this is listed in Resy! I came here with my coworkers during lunch time and noticed it was on Resy. Immediately, I used my Amex card to pay for it. The food was great, service was great, and the environment is relaxing. You also have that robot that helps with picking up trays which is a fun little thing that guests like. Definitely adds to there personality. Overall a 10/10

    $20 sashimi salad.. rip off

saddest sushi experience ever. a huge rip off. quite offended to receive a california roll disguised as a "albacore" roll. haven't felt the need to write a review in so long.

This place is highly recommended if you're around the area. If you LOVE SUSHI this is the place for you. They have BOGO specialty sushi. They also have YuBu here as well. It's a fast service and very friendly as well. This place interior design is amazing. Check it out and you won't regret it. Now check out what my party ordered.

I've been to other Crazy Rock but this is the first time in this location and I think it's one of the best. The sushi staircase is very nice and perfect for celebration. Most sashimi is tender enough compare to high end sushi. Even some random roll plates are very good in my opinion. We ordered some signature menu that have big photo in the menu. Server was very nice. The decor is also very cozy Japanese.

Bento box: chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, avocado roll, side rice and salad Mango Mexican Roll, Spicy Scallop Hand Roll
    Kat H.

The chefs always greet you when you walk in. I really like the interior here. The lighting is dim and It feels cozy. Sushi is always good. Service is a hit or miss sometimes. During this dinner time it was busy and the servers were all great and attentive . There was no designated server for our table as they all came check up on us that night. I really like the sushi quality here and the rice quality. Food comes out really fast except for the bento box which may take more time probably due to cooking the protein options. We got the 3 item bento box and chose chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and an avocado roll. Everything came out fresh and hot. Mango Mexican roll had salmon and mango, very refreshing. The spicy scallop hand roll was very spicy imo but the scallops were so plumped and delicious. Always a good time here and no complaints.

    What was advertised...

Food: 1/5 Service: n/a, to go Simply put, the rolls here are rice with a side of fish. I ordered to-go so will only be speaking on that experience. I'm extremely disappointed with the rolls I ordered - Salmon Avocado Roll & Yellowtail roll. The ratio of rice to fish is a disrespectful amount. The total amount of yellowtail in my roll equaled 1 nigiri's worth. Looked completely different from their advertised photo, which actually led me to try this place. Please don't use false advertising. The freshness of the yellowtail was also lacking. The avocado in my Salmon Avocado roll was browning so it was definitely sitting for a while before served to me. Yikes. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

The Beef Jerky Special: I absolutely love the idea of the beef jerky with a crispy-charred outer shell.
