This place exceeded my expectation of a Chinese Halal eatery. The medium size hot and sour soup is more than enough for 2, the salt and pepper lamb is savory, tender and very nicely fried. Really good chinese place. The mongolian beef was nice tender and juicy, the orange chicken was crispy and not too sweet just perfect. The lo mein in whole texas are different compared to north east so i have given up to find the real thing lol. The chicken fried rice were really good too, good for kids, great staff. What a waste of time and money! One of the worst service I have experienced within the last 3 years. Poor ambiance, mediocre taste, not even authentic chinese, more of southeastern asian flavor. Server was very unattentive, never offered any water, never even brought drinks until we complained. Poor presentation/garnishing of dishes especially appetizer. Tried chicken and cream corn soup and came out to be utter disappointment. Sesame chicken, three treasures fried rice, and shrimp chow mein were all so-so, nothing special. Their only positive is halal meat/chicken but there are far better halal options in Richardson, Plano, Irving than this very pathetic option. No one even brought bill, and when I decided to go the counter myself, they had a manually wtitten bill and they did not even offer to show me the details of charges before swiping my card. This seems to be very unprofessional to me. Did I mention the right side of their location? The parking on the right smells shitty sewerage leak. OMG, never ever going back to this location, even if they offer ALL menu All you can eat, everyday open to close. We were visiting family in Dallas and decided to try this restaurant during late lunch hours (after 2pm). We were a party of 10 and they had one more table to serve at that time. No one greeted us or gave us the menu. No one asked us about our order or if we wanted any appetizers. We figured out our order and let the server know and told him specifically that we want our 4 orders of beef well done. We get all four as undercooked and chewy. Called the manager and asked him to just get the meat cooked again instead of taking more time and making it again. He never apologized or offered to make it again btw. 20 mins later we get our beef orders again by the manager. Our server was nowhere to be found. Had to get up and pick up napkins and extra glasses and straws a few times as no one was checking on us. At the end we went to the counter to pay as no one brought our check. We had to ask for an apology for the worst customer service ever. And the manager gives us a 10% discount but also adds 20% gratuity. Which we refused to pay at which point our server told us to never come back and that we should've stayed in our home state. He told us raw food is the chef's fault and not his and that the chef doesn't understand english so he didn't know beef was supposed to be well done. WHAT? Please don't waste your time and money on these guys. Food is average at best. They charge you $2 to make white rice into fried rice and then pour a pack of soy sauce on it. I am quite selective when it comes to Chinese food (because hey...everyone does not make good Chinese). After reading numerous reviews on Yelp I opted to check it out to see what they were about. Well lo and behold, they were BETTER than expected. You receive large portions for the cost and the food is well prepared. Furthermore, the restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. My food is always ready when I get there and I never have to wait. I always get the shrimp fried rice and veggie spring rolls and I love it!!! They place spices in the bag (so you can season to taste) and the taste is awesome :). I am addicted to Thai food so when I add the extra spices it give me the similar flavor of Thai food. Got it home, grabbed a fork and a drink and opened the container. For some unknown reason, my cashew chicken had a PILE of peas and carrots in it. Not just a few - like a whole can of peas. So many, many vegetables in both of these dishes, that there was very little meat in either. Mongolian beef.. i would say this container contained an excessive amount of onions, I would call it "Mongolian Onions" ..where's the beef? Called the management and spoke with someone named Ahmed .An individual who is so disinterested on the other end of the phone, you may well be talking to yourself. Which is great for us because we don't eat pork. There were only a few people in the restaurant when we arrived. There was no music no television it was very quiet. The server greeted us nicely and Sat us quickly. the food came out nice and hot we had the lunch special which was really cool because it runs until 5 o'clock and we came in at 3:30. The food tasted good but nothing really stood out. My daughter got the orange chicken which was really sweet. I got the chicken with jalapenos and it was good , yet not a lot of chicken in the dish ... Looking forward to coming back to this place again with the rest of our family. It was too quiet ! This if for take out: Man on the phone is clear and polite. Food: The Mongolian beef was delicious, but it should have had more meat and less onions. The sweet and sour chicken was good. Vegetable fried rice was a little different than I am used to, it has proper vegetables like mushrooms, zucchini, and broccoli. I prefer the version with just peas and carrots. Steamed rice comes with entrees so that's awesome, and it was plenty. Their deluxe wontons was my favorite! Not something you find in all Chinese resturants and I really enjoyed them. read more

CM used to be FANTASTIC...over the past year, has progressively gotten worse. This last time around, the food was very substandard...the egg drop soup had a burned taste, all the fried items had a rancid smell from being deep fried in overused, old oil. The meat dishes had barely any meat, mostly onions and celery. I asked for fried rice, got steamed brown rice which was passed off as fried rice when I asked where the fried rice was. And the piece de Resistance - there were flies all over. Overall, disappointed, this place has gone down in quality, the previously mediocre service is now non-existent service...please go back to the old management and WoW otherwise I will not be going back. read more
