My friends and I were celebrating life during a much-needed moms' night out, and the service made the evening even more memorable. The entire staff was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an incredible experience. One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Christen. He was so warm and personable, sharing that he is French and taking the time to recommend some of his favorite menu items. That personal touch made us feel truly valued as guests. He even invited us to an all white event open to the public this Saturday, so if you're reading this wear white and come party on the roof top. Our server was phenomenal. Unfortunately, after several delicious cocktails, her name escapes me at the moment--but I know the second I submit this review, I'll remember it! She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. And speaking of cocktails, a huge shoutout to Jamaney, our mixologist. Jade was a top contender for my NYE plans, but we ended going somewhere else. We decided to come here this past weekend for a weekend getaway. Upon entering you'll notice all the green decor! Its's very dark and moody. I loved all the music they were playing too! The menu is a page long and we wanted to try so many items! We got the smashed cucumbers, wagyu gyoza, hamachi crudo, black snapper sashimi, miso black cod, a handroll, and the 9-piece nigiri. The cucumbers were refreshing, and all the fish was so fresh. The nigiri was beautifully presented and came with miso soup. We saved room for dessert and decided on the ichigo eton mess. It was toasted merengue, strawberry, plum wine whip, honey sesame cashew brittle, strawberry yuzu coulis, shiso. It was fun cracking the meringue, but wish it was a little less dense. I've been to several unique themed restaurants before that get a lot of attention for the decor and vibe but then lack in quality and flavor of food. Jade excelled in both! Named a Japanese Brassierie with Japanese cuisine with a French flair (two of my favorite styles), this gorgeous spot is a must-try. The interior is beautifully decorated and clean-- very stylish and not cheesy or gaudy. It has a low-light, "lo-fi" vibe. They also have a piano in the center of the room and a live DJ. I tried the jewelry bowl chirashi which was fresh and delicious. I didn't each much rice (didn't want to fill up) but they don't give you too much anywayl-- the focus is on the fish and roe anyway. Roe was quite salty but good to balance it out with the other items in the box including the Perilla leaf (don't just eat the roe on it's own). My friend ordered the Onyx and the black ink sauce complemented the rich umami flavor. I think our favorite though was the Hamachi crudo (I love hamachi anyway) but it had a great sweet&sour sauce with crunchy garlic oil. There were chunks of pineapple that added a zesty-ness and lastly, the wakame mellowed out the flavor nicely. The slices of fish were a bit tricky to pick up with metallic chopsticks though, even for a seasoned chopstick user like myself -- so that was amusing. Lastly, they have such a unique dessert menu. We got 2 desserts: Ichigo meringue, and black sesame creme brulee. The creme brulee was INCREDIBLE. I'm not kidding--you gotta get it! It's so delicious (not too sweet) and topped with sliced blueberries that complemented the sweetness so well! And finally, our server was so nice enough to bring a pretty gold bowl with lid with mochi ice cream and strawberries for my birthday. There was a candle slot in the lid too! For their seasonal wine, I tried the Beaujolais and it did not disappoint. Service was good-- no issues there. Staff really look out for you and make sure all your needs there are met. For the location, parking is street and also a lower level parking garage (just $5 though I think) - lovely area (I mean, it's Beverly Hills..). All in all, Jade is great. This place has been on my list for awhile , we walked into Jade on a Saturday night with no reservation and were pleasantly surprised they were able to seat us at the bar. Honestly best decision! The bar has such a great vibe... intimate, stylish, and perfect for watching the chef work while enjoying a drink. Our bartender was amazing he was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. Drinks were great too: balanced, refreshing. Met the owner who was there drying dishes and working right along side everyone else. The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and really cute, giving it that tucked-away, elevated hidden-gem feel. We happened to be in Beverly Hills and I wanted to try out this restaurant. Jade is beautiful inside. It takes you to an art deco jade colored haven. We had reservations and got right in. I love how comfy the chairs are. Our waitress brought us water and our drinks that we ordered quickly. There was a wonderful piano player singing while we were there. I liked her music. We got the Tokyo mule and Beverly blossom. Both were delicious. We got there at happy hour, so many of the items we tried were cheaper than the dinner rush. We ordered spicy tuna crisp and the wagu Gyoza. Both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the diamond roll which was perfect. All the flavors were amazing. We ordered the mango mochi and meringue desserts to try out after. If you havnt been to Jade yet, you have to try it out. It's a great date night spot or even a girls night out spot. read more

My husband and I visited Jade Beverly Hills on New Year's Eve. We read online that it would be open until very late with a DJ to ring in the new year. Overall, the restaurant is lovely with great decor, small and cozy. Since we came here on New Year's Eve and they were hosting the event, perhaps the restaurant was a bit disorganized. My guess is that given the higher number of people coming in, a different menu, and a late night, there was more stress and confusion among the restaurant staff. The prix fix menu was delightful and offered a variety of choices. I don't consume any seafood, so it was wonderful to see other intriguing dishes. My only complaint is that they seemed to be rushing us with the menu. They would barely allow us time to enjoy our plate when the next one was already at the table. I think they overbooked themselves and were trying to make things go faster. My absolute favorite was the momiji jidori chicken. Oh my goodness it was cooked to perfection! This is probably the most delicious, tender, and juicy chicken I've ever had. The momiji marinade that accompanied the chicken was the best part. It was a spicy and citrus sauce that really added a nice touch. My second favorite was the dessert. I got the hojicha cheescake. It was fluffy, soft, and it had a melt-in-your-mouth texture! Add some citrus cookie crumble that came on top to your bite, and you were in dessert heaven. I was looking forward to the wagyu crispy rice, but the texture was not good at all. I was disappointed when I requested this option and our waitress informed me that the rice was overcooked, making it extremely chewy and hard. Since I don't eat seafood, the other options on the menu were not appropriate for me, so I went ahead with the crispy rice regardless. They were indeed very chewy and sometimes hard to eat. The flavor was still there, however, which made it even more disappointing because this would have been one of my favorites. We were looking forward to the party aspect with a DJ that was advertised online. Turns out the DJ is the owner or manager of the restaurant, and it really sounded like an amateur DJ. There were some odd mixes and drops in the music played that night. I think Jade has potential for becoming a late night bar or even a nightclub, but please hire a professional DJ! read more

Parking in the area was tough, we ended up parking across the street for a $15 flat fee (that's if you pay with cash, otherwise it's $20 with a credit card). Service was impeccable: 5/5 Atmosphere was good, minus some obnoxious influencers who kept taking pictures and videos and were talking loudly. I was also hoping for more French influence since that's how the restaurant was advertised (Japanese + French inspiration): 4/5 LOVED our Tokyo Mule and Yuzu Margarita: 5/5 Smashed cucumber salad was fire: 5/5 The rest of the food was 3/5: the 9-piece nigiri, hand rolls (toro, hamachi and spicy tuna) and A5 Wagyu tartare were good but nothing outstanding. I couldn't tell it was A5 Wagyu meat, I would've given it a 4 if it was just regular meat. Since it said "A5 Wagyu", I had higher expectations. The toasted bread that came with it, however, was so good we ordered some more! Had an awesome time at Jade on a Saturday night celebrating my birthday with friends. Tried a variety of rolls, Nigiri, and appetizers. Everything was delicious and made to perfection at the same time as having artistic touches. Loved it. I wasn't expecting a sushi place in Beverly Hills to be so much fun. Our server was a lady from France. She was super sweet and very helpful. Drinks were on point and reasonably priced. Same with food, reasonably priced for the quality and attention to details. Loved how the sushi rolls and Nigiri's were light on rice without even needing to tell them. Obviously taylored to BH! Nigiri's were my favorite followed by the two roles, either Onyx or Ruby, but I can't remember which one was which in the photos. Diamond roll was pretty cool too on the looks, but I liked the other 2 rolls better in terms of taste. Music later in the evening was the cherry on top and I loved the EDM tracks that the DJ was playing. Such a cool vibe that I didn't want to leave!! They did a pretty cool birthday dessert for me. They had DJ and very nice music was playing in the background. We got there around 8 with reservation and were seated right away. I loved their menu. It had very unique items. We got the spicy tuna appetizer, the DIY hand roll and the jewelry box. All were nicely presented and very generous portions. Service was great and friendly. Everything was so delicious and fresh. They made up for it with the truffle drizzle and the dollops of caviar on top. - Yellowfin Tuna Tataki (5/5): Solid for a tataki and they got me again with that yuzu truffle combo in the sauce. - Kakuni Braised Short Ribs (4/5): The meat melted to the bone and had just the perfect amount of fat ratio. A little on the saltier side, esp the bok choy. - Sesame Creme Brulee (5/5): First bite wasn't too mind blowing but this is a dish that grows on you. As you continue to endulge the sesame flavor start to come through more. It was also the first time I've had this flavor of creme brulee so points for the creativity. OVERVIEW: (4.5/5) - Overall the food was good but I do think it is a little over priced as the bill was similar to what I have paid for Michelin crowned restaurants. What a hidden gem in Beverly Hills! First off, they have free parking (yes, free, for 2 hours!) which is basically unheard of around BH. It's $5 flat after 6pm. Also, wild! I was already impressed before walking in, but it only got better. The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the happy hour? Truly unbeatable. Great prices, generous portions, and top-tier quality. It was fresh fresh!! LOL. The staff were amazing, so warm and welcoming, and the vibe was relaxed but still chic. Special shoutout to the head chef Ronaldo. He saw us literally cheesy, whilst we watched him making the rolls and he introduced himself. I felt like a regular on my first visit. They charge Beverly Hills prices for food that would be disappointing at half the price. Maybe they're a fun club after-hours, but for a regular dinner they are gimmicky at best. I got to make my own rolls, I just wish there was more Seaweed Wrapper or that I had the option to buy more of the wrappers 'coz we had so much stuffing left over, next time I will ask if I can order more wrappers, this DIY is a must to include in your order, it's delicious and fun to have. This DIY ROLL has YELLOW TAIL, SPICY SCALLOP, SPICY TUNA, and SNOW CRAB. It says Spicy, but it's tolerable, not too spicy at all. My Son's WAGYU DON for sure is Delicious 'coz he completely finished it, he said it was tasty and filling. My Husband's CHIRASHI was beautiful and fun to eat too, it has FISH, TAMAGO, UNI, and IKURA. This is also a delicious plate. The WAGYU TARTAR was okay. Jade is a relatively new restaurant located in the heart of Beverly Hills that serves contemporary Japanese-inspired dishes. It's conveniently located next to a parking structure where they have free parking for two hours. Interestingly, it's located in a commercial building where you have to go across the lobby to get to the restrooms. We made a reservation ahead of time which I recommend doing. WAGYU TARTARE ($29) - the pickled onions added brightness and balance but I felt like it needed a sauce or something else. 3.5/5 SPICY TUNA CRISP ($22) - this reminded me of a spicy tuna on crispy rice but instead of rice it was crispy nori. 4/5 HAMACHI CRUDO ($26) - I loved the chili crisp and the citrus added a nice brightness to the dish. Out of everything we ordered this was my favorite dish. 5/5 JEWELRY BOX CHIRASHI ($42) - I liked the presentation with all the toppings spread out but I was indifferent with the gold flakes. My favorites were the uni and the tuna. 4/5 BLACK COD MISO ($?) - this was one of their specials at the time. The cod was tender and we could really taste the miso. Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Perfect for date night with your special person or Happy Hour after work. There is bar seating, outdoor seating, and plenty of other seating. My husband and I made a fairly early dinner reservation for Tuesday at 630. There was 1 person there and halfway through dinner another couple came in and sat at the bar. I think because it is a newer restaurant the weekdays must be slower and so a reservation wasn't very necessary. Since we were there at 630 we got the end of happy hour which everything was well priced. We ordered the Waygu Gyoza and Shrimp tempura roll for HH and then then Miso Glazed Cod and 9 piece Nigiri from the main menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Gyoza. So flavorful and well made. Service was friendly and attentive until it was time for the check. My only negative comment of this experience is that if I say no to dessert, my drinks are empty, the table is clear and dinner is over, I expect the check, but I saw my waitress leave for a vape break and I had to wait for her to come back and ask for the check when we are 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant. read more

My dear friend took me here for my late birthday dinner and I enjoyed myself. The place is cute and beautiful with nice colorful light blue flowers on the ceiling. The place is small with limited seating. They have a bar and a small seating area outside. The service and food was excellent. We ordered the jade dragon appetizer plate which is their popular rolls , hand rolls, sashimi and salads. It serves up to 4 people. All the rolls, sashimi, and nigiri was delicious. The hand rolls were just ok. They were gummy at the bottom. The edamame and salads were delicious. Great alcoholic drinks. Note: they have late-night music at the restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays with a DJ for dancing. The restaurant is in close quarters to Wally's restaurant. Valet parking near Wally's or public parking in the parking structure. You Can park on the street also. My only disappointment was that the bathroom was not attached to the restaurant. This place was such a random but amazing find. I was just casually walking around when we came across it, and the inside looked really cute and fun, so we decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did because the food seriously surprised me. We started with the black snapper hamachi and the bone marrow tartare, and both were so good. The flavors were strong but not overwhelming, and I couldn't believe how light the bone marrow tasted. I expected it to be super heavy, but it wasn't at all. Everything just worked really well together. For our mains, we got the chirashi box and the nigiri set. The fish tasted super fresh and basically melted in my mouth. Every bite was so good that I honestly didn't want it to end -- I would've happily ordered more. Overall, this spot really impressed me. The vibe was great and the food was even better. Jade exceeded my expectations and has quickly become one of my favorite sushi spots in Los Angeles. Soyel provided exceptional service!! attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The entire staff was warm and accommodating throughout the experience. The ambiance is beautiful, the food quality is excellent, the pricing feels fair for what you get, and the cocktails are outstanding. I'll definitely be coming back.
