This was during a Tuesday evening around 5:30pm, and my friends and I wanted to get some food before the TWICE concert inside Climate Pledge Arena. Though inside the Armory, this place has its own bar seating, tables and even decked-out bar lights, and condiments and napkins are nearby. My server was very friendly and pretty outgoing with me when I took my order. They have breakfast and lunch menu items that I think you can get no matter the time frame. As this is also a bar, they also have cocktails. I got their Good Burger which has bacon, white cheddar, fried onions and a medium-rare beef patty in between two brioche buns. It was quite a hefty price of ~$26 after tax, and that's also including the side of mac and cheese I got as well. This was really tasty, though! Patty was juicy and tender, cheese melted well inside the burger, and the onions and bacon were really tasty. Mac and cheese is standard but helped to fill me up. My friend also got the same burger as me but instead got hand-cut fries as a side. From his pics, they give you a ton of them so you're gonna feel real full if you finish everything! Burger wasn't that small now that I think about it. The food here actually surpassed my expectations, and I'm happy I got to try this place since I wasn't able to hit up their Capitol Hill location before it closed.

There were two TV's at the bar showing 1980's movies and there were several old Seattle beer signs like Rainier and Olympia beer. They even had an old Sonics basketball team pennant hanging behind the bar. My bartender was super friendly and checked up on me regularly. The crowd turned very Amazon-ish as the time went on (due to the proximity to the Amazon Spheres) and got fairly crowded. There was also a big Seahawk home game coming up that evening so a lot of the patrons showing up later were decked out in NFL gear. The bar was fairly skinny but comfy. King Leroy is a fun place to meet and chat and have a few drinks.

Nothing stood out, and I probably would not come here just for the food unless it is convenient for meeting Amazonians since it is on the first floor of one of their buildings. The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks. Their house cocktails were excellent. I tried the Hibiscus Paloma, which was really good, but the standout was the Lavender French. I know lavender drinks are popular these days, but this one was VERY AMAZING. I'd actually come back to King Leroy just for that cocktail.
