We were a little hungry on our Fourth of July night and were craving sushi so my boyfriend and I took a trip to kumo sushi as it's close to our friends place! We did arrive a little bit before the kitchen closed but they were still willing to get us seated and serve us as well! Lots of parking spaces in a very spacious shopping center make it easy to find parking! Once we entered inside we were greeted by a very sweet waitress who sat us and got us drinks immediately. She gave us time to heck the menu but also slightly rushed us as she wanted us to get our order in. We ordered a lot as we were hungry! We ordered, pork gyoza, Godzilla roll, crunchy California roll, rainbow roll and tuna roll along with some chicken fried rice as well! Everything came out very quickly and was quite thorough. Presentation and plating was amazing and the flavors melted on your tongue. Once we got out order in and served we really got to relax and enjoy the food. Overall, it was really delicious and the whole restaurant was well lit and service was amazing. We came home with some leftovers and want to come back again!

The place looked nice and had a full bar, so it started off with a good first impression. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill as soon as we said we weren't interested in the all-you-can-eat option. It felt like no one came back to our table after that. When our waters were dropped off, I asked for a Mai Tai. The person may have just been a food runner and not our server, but he should have either told us that or found someone who could help. After waiting about 15 minutes with no drink and no one checking on us, we had to flag someone else down. We found out my order had never been entered, and once it finally was, it still took another 10+ minutes to make. The Mai Tai itself was strong, but it was overly sweet and seemed to be lacking the pineapple juice that gives it a more balanced tropical flavor. We were then told they don't have assigned servers and that anyone can wait on any table. In reality, that system wasn't efficient at all and resulted in poor service from start to finish. The calamari and shrimp were just okay, but the portions were very small. The calamari was overcooked and chewy. The shrimp honestly tasted like the frozen breaded shrimp you can buy at Costco--nothing about it stood out or tasted freshly made. The sushi was decent, but by that point the lack of service had completely overshadowed the meal. To top it off, we asked the same employee who brought our waters for to-go boxes, and he never came back. I'm still not sure what his role was, but there was a clear lack of communication and accountability. Unfortunately, the poor service made it hard to enjoy the food, and I wouldn't return.

Who doesn't love all you can eat sushi? This place is really nice with a full bar inside. We were seated right away as it was a Tuesday and wasn't busy at all. The menu is by tiers so we selected the gold tier which was $35pp and included sushi, nigiri, ramen, fried rice, I mean literally anything. You use a tablet to send your order to the kitchen and it comes out in minutes. The food and drinks were perfect and for $35 for ayce it was really worth it. I can see this as a regular place for me and my friends

I received a friendly greeting and was immediately seated for a late afternoon lunch on a warm and sunny Saturday in May. They provide a tablet to place your orders and call for service. They have booths, half booths, bar, and table seating in a clean and modern decor. I started with several appetizers. The squid salad was nicely flavored and on a layer of English cucumber sliced flat like noodles. I also had the teriyaki short ribs and both pieces were seasoned nicely. For my entree I had a rainbow roll and an eel roll. The rice was properly cooked and ingredients were good. I finished with strawberry mochi ice cream. The staff was attentive and provided timely drink refills and the food came out surprisingly quick. The menu variety is good.

In a nice plaza with plenty of parking. Arrived here at lunch time and had no wait time to be seated Beautiful modern and night club design. Would look great in the evening time for dinner. Music is trendy modern pop R&B , I like it! Customer service is very welcoming and attentive to drinks, food and if you need anything at all. Nigiri, sashimi and sushi rolls were of good quality and nothing like the cheap sushi that tastes frozen. Salmon belly, seared tuna, and Hawaiian roll was my favorite. Ice cream Mochi for dessert was definitely the cherry on top. Will be back if I ever fly back to the ATL.

We've been to Kumo Sushi twice so far, and we'll definitely be back! Located right on PIB, Kumo Sushi has impressed us with friendly, quick, and attentive service during both visits. The restaurant is spotless with a bright, inviting ambiance that gets you excited for the meal ahead. Kumo Sushi is an AYCE spot, but it's not a buffet setup--everything is made to order. Each table gets its own iPad for ordering, and dishes start arriving fresh from the kitchen shortly after you submit them. The variety is great, with generous portions across appetizers, sushi rolls, nigiri, ramen, udon, hibachi, and more. I especially love that they even offer Kalbi as one of the options! They also have a fun selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, so you can find the perfect pairing for your meal. And don't skip dessert--there are a couple of sweet options included with the AYCE menu. Overall, Kumo Sushi delivers great value, solid quality, and an enjoyable dining experience. I hope they will be around with this concept and quality for the long haul! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Finally a GOOD AYCE sushi spot in the Atlanta area!! I really liked the iPad concept of ordering, and everything was sooo good! Orders come in super fast after ordering. And we were surprised at the quality! It was amazing and beautiful! So excited to come here again

Kumo is definitely one of the better AYCE sushi spots, The decor inside is really nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and quick to bring each item out. I love the tablet ordering system, it makes for quicker service. Highlights: The yellowtail jalapeño, Wagyu nigiri, and sexy city roll. I ordered the yellowtail and Wagyu a couple of times during my visit! The sexy city roll was sooo refreshing! Lowlights: The rock shrimp, spider Handroll, and kumo popper (not pictured). The rock shrimp and spider hand roll were nothing special - they actually tasted a little bland and were just nothing to rave about compared to my highlights. The kumo popper was my absolute least favorite - 0/10. I actually sent it back. It was overly greasy and I couldn't stomach it. Of course this is what I get for ordering something fried like this at a sushi spot but I like to try a variety of foods at restaurants. All things considered, the sushi was fresh! I want to come back and try more of the special rolls and sashimi. I'll be returning and sticking to sushi instead of the fried foods!

First time at this place. Lets just say ill be back!! It was very clean and well lit inside. I was greeted as soon as I walked inside and from there the service was great! The menu is a pretty good size. ALOT of different options. I came on my lunch break, so I didn't have much time to explore and try alot of things, but again... ill be back! SERVICE: 9/10 FOOD: 9/10 AESTHETIC: 10/10

Hands down the best AYCE sushi restaurant we've been too. Clean. New. The iPad you use to order your food, has photos of each food item & it shows you your current bill. I mean, talk about transparency. My husband's drink wasn't empty the entire time. Our toddler is picky and we were surprised they had fries. That's a win for us! If/when we wanted more, there wasn't any need for us to grab our server. Simply used the iPad to order our additional meal & it was electronically sent to the kitchen. Definitely a place we would return to! There are 3 tiers you can order from. We were on the "Gold AYCE menu" @ $35.95/pp. They have Silver @ $25.95/pp and Diamond @ 54.95/pp. Everything was made to order. As fresh as it gets.

Cindy was good. I had the all you can eat for 39.99 which was good bc I was able to get the sushi and appetizers I wanted to try. My fav was the yellow tail appetizer and sexy city roll and rainbow roll. The peppered tuna was good too and atmosphere was good minus the fruit flies everywhere.

Tried Kumo Sushi for dinner and went with the all-you-can-eat option ($35.95). They also have an à la carte menu, but heads up -- if one person at the table chooses all-you-can-eat, everyone has to do it.It's not a traditional buffet setup; instead, they hand you an iPad to order dishes that come out fresh from the kitchen. I actually like that idea since the sushi is made to order and not sitting out. The only downside is that when the place gets busy, the wait time between rounds can get really long, which eats into the 90-minute limit. That said, the sushi is fresh and there's a nice variety of rolls, appetizers, and cooked items. The service is friendly, but they definitely seem stretched thin at peak hours.Overall, it's a good value for the quality if you go during slower times. Go early in the evening or on a weekday to get the best experience.

Not here. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and with a wide variety to choose from. Large helpings. I love to snap pictures of others food but really could only do that with the Greek salad that my neighbor had ordered. I had lunch option for sushi. The gal across me ordered Cioppino. The sandwiches looked marvelous and saw several people packing up half of their dishes to take home. The ambiance is very clean and crisp. Even though the kitchen is in the middle of the back of the restaurant... A classic open style that seems to be popular these days... It was not that loud even as I was leaving and it was still pretty full around 2:00.

Not to the point anyone waited a long time for a correction and with a party as large as ours I think they did a great job. The food was good. We were served three appetizers [chopped salad, bourbon glazed brussels, seafood fondue] family style. I don't eat pork so I loved that the bacon was on the side for the brussels, which were delicious, and the chopped salad was equally as good. I don't eat shellfish either so I didn't try the fondue, but everyone around me who did, enjoyed it. The entree I had at the restaurant was the pan seared chicken which was pretty good although it could have used a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon. I also had the cacio e pepe to go and it may have been my favorite thing I've had thus far from here. I did not order any beverages other than water, but next time I think I'll try a cocktail as they looked tasty. I live an hour plus away from this location so I probably won't be returning soon, but if in the area again I would definitely eat here again.

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners.
