The vibe here is super chill -- we went for brunch on a Sunday around 11 and although the seating is pretty limited, there was enough space since it's never usually super packed. Now back to this food because the caviar, butter, and bechamel combo in this omelette was to die for. This place feels like this been a staple in San Antonio. As if it has always been here. From the staff's outfits, to how they prepare the food, this place is a gem. Dear I say, cute af. I started with a simple honey latte and it was delightful. I got the pancakes and added eggs potatoes and bacon. I know this sounds crazy but the bacon felt so light to eat. The flavor was like nothing I've ever had as bacon. The potatoes were so crispy, yet airy. The pancakes had a little zest of lemon which I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to taste the ham and cheese sandwich with some sort of cheese sauce at the bottom and I highly recommend it. All in all, this place prices can get out of hand as for my pancakes, eggs, potatoes, and bacon costed me a few hours of work thats for sure. But this place is a place I will be bringing family and friends from out of town to that's for sure. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars due to price but will average up to 5 since there is not half star I can give. Went here for Sunday Brunch and it's a delightful place! It feels very old school, all staff wear white on white with the old school white restaurant hats which was super cool. I've never tried escargot and it was super bad. But it did look nice and made me feel fancy. The eggs were sooo good! I n always try to make my eggs like this but never could. I did add some hot sauce, I know I'm sorry it's just in my blood. I do wish they had maybe a spicy option? That would be interesting. For the desert I got the floating merengue? It was super good. Had brunch here with other Yelp friends. The atmosphere is really laid-back. The interior is charming. The service is helpful but out of the way, which I loved. The scallop was tender, sweet, and paired with roe and thick hollandaise is decadent. I would get it again. It can be eaten by one, since it's a scallop, but it was nice to share it because you can indulge but not feel like you drank a half cup of hollandaise. I mean, that's actually how I'd like to die, but not today. I absolutely loved the classic omelette. You can add all the fixins like truffle and caviar. Small salad of frisé was an exceptional pairing because of the richness of the omelette. My friends got the pancakes and the tomato French toast. Those were both delicious and a wonderful treat. The pancakes tasted of orange zest, which was accented by the beautiful little pat of butter and drizzle of maple syrup. My friend ordered steak and eggs; the scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked with a creamy, buttery taste. I got the brisket Benedict, and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, with perfectly poached eggs. We also tried the spud doughnuts--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. This adorable counter serve diner takes you all the way back to the 40's-50's - as the interior feels like it was pulled right out of another time. It creates a homey feeling and elevates the dining experience. The place is small, seating is limited inside and out, and you will tend to be met with a line. its first come first serve so no reservations. We came on a Sunday morning and got a pitcher of Mimosas. It was a lot for our table, and when we ran out of OJ, they provided another portion no charge. We then got the 1915 Spudnut Donut - These were absolutely brilliant! Crunchy little fellas with a interior that melts in your mouth. I could chow down on these alone. For my entree, I got the classic french omelette with some caviar on top. The egg was cooked perfectly - smooth, buttery, tender and a warm, tasty hollandaise on top. The caviar was a fun addition on a classic breakfast item and the saltiness was a welcomed addition. It comes with some greens on the side with a simple vinaigrette, which was good. The staff was attentive, kind and helpful. I really had a wonderful experience here and would love to come back. It fills my heart with joy to see more unique dining options come to San Antonio and Cullum's Attaboy is just one of many to brighten the food scene in SA. read more

It was my first visit to Attaboy. I was able to walk in and grab a table without waiting. The service was friendly and professional. The atmosphere gave NOLA vibes. Aside from the very loud music at 11am, this is a charming spot. I ordered the pancakes and a side of bacon. Both were delicious and satisfied my cracking for brunch. Food was so so, nothing really extraordinary. I had a breakfast sandwich, it was nothing special. The home fries were sort of burned and hard crunchy. Friends had simple omelettes. Again nothing special. The shock was the price of the entire meal. Oh the only item we loved were the spudnuts. These were sooooo yummy! Oh and the coffee was superb!!! We had two omelettes, one egg sandwich 3 coffees and Spudnuts and with tip, over $90.00 WOW!!! Not impressed. I'll take Ida Claire!!! Anyway, suffice to say not going back. Nothing really special. Seems like one of these places with the "see and be seen" breakfast vibe, but not my jive. Just not remarkable enough to go back. A gem in San Antonio. Cullum's Attaboy is somewhere between a French bistro and early 1900's San Antonio diner, serving an elevated brunch that will not be found anywhere else in this city. The menu is concise yet interesting, featuring classics like pancakes and burgers, along with fine ingredients like escargots, truffles, and plenty of caviar. Order/pay at the counter, choose a table, and the staff will serve your food. Brunch for two set us back just under $100. Their Cortado was the best espresso drink I had in my 5 day visit to San Antonio. My husband's drip coffee was very good as well. Service was polite. You must order the 1915 Spudnuts. These are soft, pillowy donuts made from riced potatoes. Their exterior is delicately crisp, and the inside melts in your mouth and has a buttermilk pancake flavor. 10/10. Another must order is the Champagne Butter Poached Scallop. While $18 for two bites of food may seem steep, I assure you that it is well worth it. The scallop was delicately poached and impossibly tender, enhanced by a rich hollandaise and rainbow trout roe. The French Omelette was excellent, albeit slightly over salted. Skip the Baked Tomato French Toast. While a savory French toast sounded intriguing, it was ultimately an over baked salt/oil bomb. I quickly got palate fatigue. What a wonderful place to have breakfast! I loved everything about this small and beautiful restaurant. We had scramble eggs with truffles on toast. Yes the truffles were sublime and the scramble eggs were creamy and cooked to perfection but what really elevated this dish for me the toast was the right thickness to hold the eggs and it was toasted perfectly! I did find the price very eye watering but man did it taste good! We also had the spud nuts. It's texture was just right a chewy and soft at the same time. Service was very good there was a very long wait for my latte. However the wait staff tried their best by letting me know that there was long coffee line and they were very good clearing dishes and asking if we needed anything. Had an overall good experience at Cullum's Attaboy. We dined here in the middle of the week for brunch, so there was not a crowd. Immediately upon entry there is a display case of daily menu items and a counter to place your order. Not sure if this only applies to weekdays, but you place all food and drink orders at the counter (pay), you're given a number, find your seat, then everything will be brought out to you. Atmosphere has a trendy casual vibe. Decor is reminiscent of a 50's diner with a modern twist. The restaurant is very small with no more than 20 tables inside and maybe 10 tables outside. I imagine there are probably long wait times on busy weekends. Many of the brunch menu items are things you would expect, but with refined variations. Service was friendly and food was amazingly delicious. Some of the best brunch food I've ever had! Everything was cooked to near perfection! We got the pancakes (crispy and zesty), eggs Benedict (I've never had a hollandaise sauce so yummy), and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich (the sauce on it was :chef's kiss:). I never tried Attaboy when they were in their airstream, so when they closed that down, it was a real bummer. But then I heard they opened a brick and mortar and I FINALLY got the chance to go and it was so worth the wait. A little fancy, a little saucy, a whole lot of fun. The menu had creative twists on classics, like egg on toast, but the eggs were supremely fluffy and topped with shaved truffle. For a little extra you can add a small dollop of caviar. Since I have never tried truffle OR caviar, I went all in, and now I'm upset that I have tastebuds that love expensive stuff. They also had framboise, which is my absolute favorite beer, so that right there is also an automatic 5 stars. My friend had the brisket egg and cheese sandwich with a side of potatoes. He ate all his sandwich so I'm assuming it was good, but I also got to sample the potatoes and they were perfectly seasoned and oh-so-crispy. Wow, stumbled upon this place that had top notch everything! Amazing espresso martinis, homemade Bloody Mary mix with diced pickled carrots, fresh squeezed juice for the mimosas. It has a classy, chill vibe, with relaxing music and the staff wears cute, white, old-school hats. You order at the counter when you go in and then seat yourself. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. I love getting their french omelette and pancakes. They are both light and flavorful. I LOVE their omelette - its simple, but classic and buttery. We regularly get a mimosa set-up and its the most perfect breakfast. I once ordered an eggs benedict, but it had bacon on it, which isn't disclosed on the menu, so I traded it away. read more

Okay you all this is a small place but they are banging out the chicken wings to perfection. They are cooked to the perfect crips. Not dried out or anything, tender and juicy. The flavors are definitely well put together. They also aren't your tiny average chicken wings. They are quite large in comparison to most. The thyme fried are very very tasty as well. They have a tangy, salty flavor to them with a zing or zest of lemon. You can taste the flavor in every bite. The place is small and truly reminds me of Seattle vibes to be honest of small shops on the West Coast. I got the southern chicken wings with a side of hot honey sauce and ranch. I will say that a small ranch or side sauce is just that. Truly small...you might want to purchase the large. See is free at the establishment. I did try their signature mimosa and was not disappointed in the flavor of the juice with the champagne. Give it a try you all. You won't be disappointed. I will warn you beforehand the prices for what you get out pretty steep. So please don't go in with the expectation that you will be getting Wing Stop quantities for the price. We both ordered drip coffee and it was brewed perfectly, but the real winner was the food. It was FANTASTIC. An unparalleled brunch experience. The spudnut donuts came 4 to an order. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside; the perfect appetizer. My mother ordered the baked tomato French toast (something along those lines) and she loved how crispy the cheese was on top. Her only suggestion was more tomatoes and she loves her tomatoes. I ordered the brisket, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. This was potentially the best breakfast sammie I've ever had! The bun melted in your mouth, the brisket was well shredded, the eggs were perfectly cooked and sat like a pillow on top of the brisket, and the cheese held everything together. And don't even get me started on the breakfast potatoes. I was so impressed with the way they crisped the outer shell of the potato without overcooking in the inside. First thing for Cullum's Attaboy: the theme is ON POINT!!! The restaurant's decor/employees/beverages/food is all in-sync. Loved it. However, I will say it's a fairly small place, and not sure if it's made for bigger parties-it was just me, my husband and our one-year old and we felt pretty cramped even after combining two of the tables in the main area (closest to the register) but we're happy they had high chairs and easy refills on water! The food was good for sure, portions are small but plenty filling and unique in flavor. And oh my gosh- the pancakes were INCREDIBLE!!! So if you're picky or order the same drink every time you go out, this may not be the spot for you. The place is small with an intimate but refined feel. They were super busy for Sunday brunch, and most employees are dedicated to the open kitchen format, so be patient.
