We moved to the Phoenix area 4 years ago from Wisconsin and it is nice to have a place that reminds of of Wisconsin. Food and service is good. The cod is usually good, however today it sucked. Over battered, Over-cooked and greasy. Hoping to avoid the added grease, decided to skip the fries and try the mashed potato's. We've been to this restaurant before and it's always been good. Today we walked in to the restaurant and immediately smelled a foul odor. We should have left then I had a fish sandwich that was good, but I wish they'd put tartar sauce and maybe a tomato. I got a water to drink and there was not a lemon to be found. My husband had a terrible over fried chicken sandwich. The chicken patty may have been an eighth of an inch thick and very dry. Again, no condiments available except mustard and ketchup. The cheese curds we're over fried and not very hot, meaning they sat under a heat lamp for awhile. I've had better. I don't think we will be going back any time soon. read more

Pulled up to the speaker, girl on the speaker sighed at me. She seemed irritated that I was there, asked her to repeat my order, she forgot half of what I ordered when I reminded her of my order she was annoyed at me! They still got the order wrong it was 30 dollars for 2 sandwiches 2 salads and a Sundae. The "sundae" is a dollar extra for cheap peanuts, they forgot the marshmallow cream and the whip cream. Everyone I had contact with acted like I was annoying them. No smiles, no thanks for keeping me in a job (I don't expect that but you get it) poor experience, I'll go to Dairy Queen from now on. Went to this location cause me and my family love Culver's. After this experience I will probably never go to one again. We ordered our food in the drive thru Sunday night and the lady taking the order was very short with us like she was in a rush. After we pull up we get our drinks and they park us. Even though they were not that busy. They gave us our food and every special order we made on our food "witch was plain" so hard to actually do I guess and they added onions on mine ketchup on my daughters burger witch she couldn't eat cause she thought it was gross. I went back in with my sandwich told them what was wrong the lady didn't even look at my receipt and said ok hold on and told the guys making food they made it wrong and made me the wrong burger once again. Like holly crap if it was busier I would understand then messing up so much but they had like 3 customers when I came in. Sorry but this was horrible and I will never say anything good about this location the team leads and employees need to get talked to. Cause I was a manager for a fast food chain and this was never the case in my store or they would all be getting written up. We stopped in for lunch on Tuesday. They had 1 person ringing up customers but we counted a total of 5 other employees just standing around. We waited 15 minutes just to get our order taken! It wasn't even busy. Some of the employees made eye contact with us but made no attempt to ring us up at the other register. We figured maybe they only had one register working? But then one of the girls stepped up to the empty register as if she was going ring more customers up. She stood there for a second didn't say anything to any of the guests then went right back to standing along with the line of employees waiting to run food to guests. We were just shocked. By now there was a line of us waiting for someone to take our order. Finally after a few of them kept glancing at us, a different girl stepped up and acknowledged us telling us she would take our order. She was very friendly and had great customer service but unfortunately our experience had already been ruined. After we got our food we did notice some of the other was wrong. But that's not a big deal, mistakes happen. After lunch I went up to the register to get custard for my kids. Again I waited there for a few minutes all the while 3 of the employees standing there looked back a just glanced at me then proceeded to turn back around and stand there to wait to run food??? Finally one of the employees helped me out but he wasn't happy about it. It was as if he was annoyed that he had to help me out. I have been to plenty of Culvers and I have never seen such bad customer service. I thought Culvers was known for having great customer service?? I also didn't see 1 single manager the entire time I was there which seemed strange. After this experience we probably won't be returning to this location. Tried this place for the first time yesterday! For once, the drive thru didn't have ten people in line so we took advantage and hoped right in! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and cheese curds. Their cheese curds, I've heard are the best in town! They were pretty good! I would day they would taste better with a sauce to dip it in. Maybe there is a designated sauce, but I'm too new to realize it! The sandwich was good, and spicy, just like it's advertised! The woman working drive thru was very friendly. I've only gotten smoothies and cheese curds here, but it was exactly what I expected it to be from my many other Culver's experiences. My husband and I's first time eating here. Perfect! Burger itself has a nice flavor and the butter bun also good. I love Culver's! Normally! This is a brand new location and is just a hop skip and a jump from my house! It pains me to say this. The line was super long about 9 cars in line. Totally fine and I expected being that it's the newest place around! So I was stoked! We ordered it took awhile to order you could tell she was still new and nervous, got our order about 80% right! Ordered two of the Same burgers and didn't realize she charged us for one as a double. We asked for no onions and it did also say on the receipt but it had them so my smaller child wouldn't eat. My malt was delicious! And the worst part of it all were my fries tasted old and were not even warm let alone hot. The three stars go to the staff they are training but everyone was friendly and food came out pretty fast and the 8 car line really moved, that's why I was super shocked but the overly salted and not warm fries. I decided to brave opening day to give Culver's a try. I showed up around lunch time and of course it was busy. The nice thing about opening day is there's a lot of employees learning and training. I was suprised at the variety of food they offer. I ordered at double cheeseburger and cheese curds and it was delicious. The food came out quick and correct! Good food & fast service! I'm mean it was 8:30 on a Thursday night but only had to wait a few minutes for my food. The burger was made as requested but they over did it on the mustard. My concrete mixer was delicious but lacked a normal amount of cookie dough. Definitely one of the better fast food places in the area. read more

What the hell!!?? We drove up to the drive up window at Culvers in Queen Creek on a Friday afternoon at 2:00 in the afternoon and it was closed and would not open until 4:00 pm. Interestingly, when Culver's first opened great food hot and fresh. In the last 2 months food has been burnt and awful. The chicken sandwich was overcooked hard and dry with a tiny bite of shredded lettuce and a couple of shreds of cheese. Comes out dry no mayo, mustard anything. Cheese curds little pieces all burnt. I took food back to counter and Millennial server tells me that's the way the food comes. I said burnt his comment if we don't cook it may have bacteria. My daughters ordered a 2 scoop ice cream cone in a waffle cone. The scoops were so small you had to look inside cone to see. With staff illiterate and uncaring attitude we never complained about ice cream. Roll ahead to the next month as we wanted to try as I thought it might be and off night. Wrong same thing burnt undesirable food. This time the fish sandwich. The fish sandwich small piece of burnt fish, few shreds of lettuce and shredded cheese. Ice cream cone came out same way small tiny scoops and for price not worth it. This place better rethink who is serving, cooking and maintaining their establishment or otherwise they won't be in business long. We don't come often because it's about 20 minutes from us, in a direction we don't typically go. We moved to AZ a year ago and I had never had Culver's. We have now been here probably 4 or 5 times. It is hands down my favorite fast food burger place! I have had nothing but a great experience here. The prices are a little high, but for an occasional splurge, I think it's worth it! I will say I didn't LOVE the cheese curds like I thought I would, but their fries are delicious! I don't really drink soda, so I always get a peanut butter shake with my meal. However I did notice today that they have their own root beer! So I'll give that a try one of these days! We get burgers and my daughter gets their chicken strips kids meal every time! I was so excited they were building a Culver's in our neighborhood. I loved the food at the one in Chandler. Unfortunately, they have screwed up 75% of the time. On my first visit I literally stood and watched my food sit under their warming light for 20 minutes before they finally shoved it into one too-small bag and gave it to me. The hamburger was not the one I ordered and it was squashed on the bottom under everything. The fish sat under the warming light so long that it was soggy and greasy. Still, they were busy and I gave them a second chance. On my second visit I ordered a Rubin grilled sandwich with fries and my husband ordered and a hamburger with fries. Again they shoved the whole order into one small bag. (What...is there a shortage of fast food paper bags I don't know about?). The Rubin was lying under the fries all squashed and soggy. I'm not convinced that they drained the sauerkraut before grilling the sandwich. Our last order (my husband's idea) was, just to keep it simple, the same meal. We asked them to place each order in it's own bag...which they did. Two of the exact same thing...hard to screw up right? Wrong! When we got it home we had two cups of cheese (not in our order) to pour over one fry (we ordered two). Of the four times we have gotten food from the Ironwood Crossing Culver's, they have gotten one right...two ice cream sundays. Oh Culver's you delicious little crinkle cut fry slinging, custard serving, burger squishing gem. We had high hopes for this location to keep up with the reputation and consistency that the other locations across the country has had. Unfortunately, we were let down. Our fries were not fresh. The burgers were good, hot, and fresh. The lettuce was wilted and brown. Pickles were DILLicious. Our main issue was the staff. They closed up the condiments an hour before they closed. We had to go to the counter to ask for ketchup. Not a big deal. Until the rest of the visit. We finished our meal. Ordered some custards. They were dropped off at the table, 2 of them were wrong. We brought one up to be fixed(chocolate malt with chocolate custard, as it was ordered) and the girls fixing it said to each other that we should just do it ourselves if we wanted it with chocolate...we spoke up and let them know we heard them. They popped their heads up and looked like a deer in headlights. What appeared to be the manager looked up and smiled and nodded as if she was going to handle it. They tried to close the restaurant an hour before they were suppose to including taking all of the napkins off of the tables, then hovered and were shouting back and forth about how they wanted to get out of there. Quite surprising for Culver's to have such rude employees. We cleaned up our table, threw our trash away, and left without a goodbye or thanks for coming. Ok, me n hubby were going on a lunch date, was unsure of where to go. Hubby mentioned Culver's never ever ate at one, wasn't sure what they even serve. So we go in and order and sit down, had our food delivered to our table. Food looked good. Within a few minutes flies were flying all around the table areas and here we were flapping our hands & arms to chase them away. Ewwww......totally grossed us out. We were really trying to eat and here we were flapping our hands again. So disgusting, you shouldn't have to worry about flies while trying to eat and enjoy your day. So to top this all off after we were getting ready to leave, hubby asked would u like to share a dessert and I said sure why not! So we go through the drive thru to order and then get to the window and pay, the girl then said I will get your concrete made, as I was watching her through the window making it, she had dropped the mix in's on the counter and began to pick them up with her bare hands (no gloves on) yes and I did say she picked them up with her bare hands and tossed them in our cup...... Really i don't think this is the way u handle food in anyway shape or form, even after going through the training and getting a food handlers card. I'm so shocked to see this happen with my own eyes it totally grossed me out, not knowing if the girls hands were even washed or had been washed.
