It's creamy, flavorful, and they give you a good portion. For the month of February, they had a special, "Cupid's Creation." Lots of yummy additions that give it amazing flavor and texture. It was larger than something I would normally eat, but it was oh so good. My friend had the vanilla malt, and he enjoyed that. FYI, my past experiences with some of the other cooked food items have not been stellar, so I only get ice cream confections when I'm there. The sandwich was disappointing, very stingy on the amount of pork, and very little seasoning made for a tasteless bite. Various condiments were available at the counter and helped to add some flavor. It came with a small serving of Cole slaw, creamy style and very typical taste wise. The chocolate malt was very good, could actually taste the malt unlike other custard places offering a malted drink. The bill came to $14.48 including taxes. Maybe their burgers are better but not sure I would revisit this establishment again.

The inside is much more open than it was with a very high ceiling and plenty of seating options. It also feels like they were more intentional with space for people standing in line and waiting for their order. The worker taking my order commented about how fast the register entered my order (which would indicate their payment system has been updated quite a bit too). Pre-fire interior had a more industrial dated look, but hey, throwbacks can be fun. The new interior is more modern with more of a cabin feel, which is quite a bit different, if you look around you can still see some of the artistic elements from before like the steel people around ice cream cones. The food itself was as I remembered it - no notable change there (not that it needed any changes, haha). Outside, the drive through has 2 lanes that merge into one. Parking is pretty similar, nothing I noticed to stand out as different. The seating area does feel updated, I can't recall there being much seating outside before (or it didn't imprint to my memory), so what's there now definitely stood out in a good way. If you've yet to stop in to Oscar's since the fire, make a point to check out the interior when you make it in.
