Too good too go pick up. I was a little disappointed in what I got. But, it's ok I still was happy with it.

Food taste great with an amazing ambiance and unique service for those coffee lovers they had variety of coffees roasted

My iced matcha latte as you can see all the ice in that cup I took about 3 to 4 sips & it was gone & next to it my poor smushed burnt bagel

First thing first, please look at my picture and judge from that.. it's not the best & I didn't think I wanted to post a review but I changed my mind. I got a matcha latte - had too much ice and very milky. I also ordered a bagel w/cream cheese warmed - my bagel was a bit burnt & the young girl smushed my bagel. I don't want to say she did it intentionally but it felt like she did. I sat at the window table enjoying my day. This was my 3rd time visiting here.

This unpretentious coffee shop has a homey cozy centered vibe that stands out from the more common coffee chains. I love their bacon burritos and nitro cold brew.

Love this place! I live nearby and don't like Peet's and try to avoid Starbucks so I tried Cumaica out and it's definitely my new go to. I like my lattes on the sweeter side and they make them perfect to my taste here! They also have bagels, pastries, sweets, and snacks! I love the lox bagel and have had a few of their pastries which were all yummy!! Cafe inside is clean and I like the decor of the front entrance!

Dark Chocolate Mocha

Despite the so so reviews I tried this place out in the pursuit of a dark chocolate mocha. I asked if they were available here and was surprised when the barista said yes(didn't see it listed on the menu but maybe I missed it). The dark chocolate mocha was yummy. I returned to try out the chai, which was too gingery for me. Also had my first salmon lox badge here and now I'm hooked! Service is quick and friendly, staff took her time preparing my lox and it was yummy!

Lots of fresh food and healthy items available

Food, service and ambiance was very welcoming. The place was clean with lots of fresh food and healthy food options. My hot chai latte with oak milk had a great aroma and was delicious.

Chicken Salad Sandwich on wheat bread

First time at Cumaica, but I don't think it'll be my last! Had their chicken salad sandwich and it was stuffed full with chicken salad. The chicken salad was pretty unique because it had raisins, red bell peppers, celery, and the usual stuff that goes in chicken salad; the raisins and bell peppers made it unique! It included a good amount of lettuce, too, which I love in sandwiches. There was a display case full of different breakfast type pastries; doughnuts, scones, coffee cake, etc. and everything looked fresh and tasty. I didn't have any, but everyone said the coffee was good, too. The cooler that might have held cold beverages before was totally empty, so maybe it's no longer self serve. They did have cold beverages in one of the cases, though, but you'd have to ask for it at the counter. The interior of Cumaica is clean and modern. I don't think there are any tables inside, but there is one just outside their establishment. There were a couple of people behind the counter and the person who helped me was nice and pleasant.

I've always wanted to come here but haven't until today. This was a cute spot... nothing flashy or anything fancy. It's a very simple coffee shop with a decent food menu and decent coffee. It definitely gave a more neighborhood coffee shop vibe. I typically try to get a sparkling americano, but this didn't seem like the place to order that (I'd order that at places like cafe rèveille). So I got the vanilla latte instead because it just sounded good. I was surprised with the overall quality of my drink... I wish I took a picture of it but I drank it because I was sleepy. But the flavor and texture of my drink was fabulous. I was tempted to get the lox bagel because it sounded great but I didn't. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon. It was small but quite filling. My only feedback for it is that it could use a little spice... like siracha or chill crisp oil or something. But that's a personal preference maybe. I did see someone else order a lox bagel and will definitely get it next time because it really did look BOMB DOT COM! Lol The service was fine. The people here were nice and they warmed up my burrito. You can tell this place has plenty of regulars because they knew right away what they'd want when they walked in. Bonus, this might have been just the day I was here or a personal preference as well but there was quite a bit of customers I'd consider "eye candy"... lol Overall, I'd recommend checking it out... and I'd also come back too if my client cancels and I'm in the area.

The cutest local spot for coffee and plenty of sitting space!! Has all the regular American coffee staples plus more. Everything has always tasted really good. This fall morning I snagged a PSL

Great location, great coffee, great service! Huge cafe at the corner of 10th and Mission that I love going to over the weekends for a quiet morning coffee and avocado toast. They have a bunch of standard breakfast options like different flavors of bagels boiled eggs, avocado toast. It is quite expensive though, like everywhere else in the city I guess. For an avocado toast, couple of boiled eggs and a coffee you end up with a $30 bill. Overall, great coffee and fun place to soak in the sun along with the coffee!

I walked 40 minutes from my office to a different office in this neighborhood and was parched. Luckily, Cumaica was open for about 20 minutes so I caught them when employees were just starting to clean up. It's also located near quite a few apartments, and I am jealous of the people who live there because they can come here more often than me! I tried the Mexican hot chocolate and it was warm and cinnamonny. Service was quick and friendly. I'll have to come back to try some of their food and sweets. This would be a good place to do work or read, too!

Nice assortment of pastries for sale! Scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls and more!

All around pleasant experience in terms of both the service and coffee. I had the flight and…read morethought it was overall good. They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

At 11 am on a Sunday they were out of their best- black sesame Kouign Amann and the Raspberry Almond Croissant, which I took care of by paying a visit to Juniper bakery (sister business) later in the day. The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

I've…read moreheard this place has one of the best katsu sando around and as a lover of Katsu, I couldn't skip it. There's some good places in SF like Cafe Okawari. But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.

Wait time: Not a long wait time early in the morning between time of ordering and receiving your drink. If you are taking it to go there is an outdoor pick up window attached to the outside of the store for convenience and to prevent cluttering inside. Service: Friendly staff and helpful with suggestions on the menu for both drinks and food. Drinks: Ginger Matcha Latte: The strong matcha and spicy ginger flavor paired well with the sweetness of the Oat Milk creating a balanced flavor. Drink size was fair based on other matcha shops. Overall, a nice little tea shop to pick out a good quality matcha beverage, light Japanese style breakfast / brunch, or a sweet treat. Clean and quiet ambience inside with friendly staff.

You know, mainly fun things like beverages, snacks, or fruits, when I am delivering documents or my bank deposits. Said friend recently reciprocated by handing me a bag (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=Rmk-7xJHWs7RKbGP2U1zdQ) with a few items to take home. Having a drink in hand already, I refrigerated one of the gifted items before putting the other two there too. Watching my sugar intake these days, I waited until the next morning to start on the strawberry matcha latte, medium ice, half sweet (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=0O5eaeZuKxCM2GU2ur3cEA); this is a take on a flavor combination that is a signature one for a local boba tea company. I enjoyed this as the tea flavor was more distinct and the sweetness was dialed down. I would get this again. The other gifted items were the Hokkaido cheese tart and fresh sweet potato cheese tart (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=aVbAWdTtlPx0iEdMyWkNFg). I reheated them in my toaster oven a few days later as snacks. The cheese one was okay and didn't really stand out but the sweet potato one shines if you're a big fan of sweet potato. By appearance, I thought it was taro or ube but was pleasantly surprised. Whenever I dine in J Town, I often walk by this store that across from the former Isobune sushi spot in the mall. Now I know what they have and I will try other menu items next time. Thank you for my generous and thoughtful friend for giving my this 1st experience.
