I was really excited about visiting this place although some of the reviews were a hit and a miss. I ordered my usual curry dish and I literally took 2 bites and could not eat anymore! It was that disgusting!!! My husband ordered beef fried rice and was able to stomach maybe a quarter of his plate. The food tasted and smelled odd. I don't know if I was there on a off night or that's just how they season/cook their food but I will not be returning. Lastly, when the sever came to the table he clearly saw my plate was basically untouched and when I told him I did not want it boxed up, the sensible thing would to ask if I wanted something else. Idk, maybe I offended them and yes I know I could said something but honestly I didn't want anything. Also, the service was sub-par. Nothing spectacular. The food is great here and the location, although a little divey, is certainly clean and passable. The service is good but a little anemic when stretched too thin during busy lunch hours. No real greeting, menus dropped on the way by, empty glasses a little longer than I would hope and no condiments on the table (sugar for my tea). Tried this place for lunch. The pad thai was greasy, but overall tasted ok...but then there was the massaman curry. I rarely say something at a restaurant is disgusting...but this curry left an after taste of vomit in my mouth. I've never had massaman curry this bad, and I've had a lot of massaman curry. We've lived in Smyrna for 2 years now and I've heard great things about Curry Curry, but it wasn't until last week that we finally gave it a try. What made me suddenly decide to eat here? I began drinking at 2 and was passed out until about 8 and woke up in desperate need of spicy hang over food. We came fairly late and the place was a bit empty but while we were eating multiple people came in to grab their take out orders. We started off with veggie egg rolls that were alright, scorching hot, but pretty good. For my entree I got the Pad Kee Mao-- this was seriously exactly what I needed! Thick noodles, spicy sauce, fried tofu, and a plethora of veggies= perfection! Upon leaving I told my boyfriend that from now on I'm just going to order to go food prior to drinking and have it home waiting for me when I need it. Can't wait to come back, and this adds another reason to why I love living in Smyrna. read more

The food here is really great! I am a curry girl and each time the curry is perfect! On our most recent visit they had ROTI as a special appetizer and I must say it was delicious. The portion was small but none the less it was good. As far as the main course we always take food home because they give you so much! I love it!! The prices are also reasonable. Went to Curry Curry Thursday afternoon for the first time and was really impressed with the food. This was while making a drive from Stone Mountain! Egg rolls were fantastic, as was the Cashew nut chicken. It was very busy at that time but the wait staff was still very friendly, helpful and provided good service. Overall this was a bit of a disappointment. I am not sure if it is because I lived in California where the Asian food is phenomenal, or what, but we just weren't impressed. When we try a new place we always order some staple items. Yellow Curry - really hard to mess up, and it just want very good. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as creamy as what I am used to. Could just be personal preference, but I wasn't all that impressed. Thai tea - delicious, cant go wrong Mango and sticky rice - underwhelmed. It was ok, the mango was ripe, but the rice was kind of tough and was more like a puck of rice that took a bit of effort to get apart. It may be due to the fact that we did take-out, but I still wasn't all that excited about it Pot stickers- these were actually very good. We got them fried, and the filling was tasty. Don't be surprised by the name. They have a variety of food other than just curry. Pearl was a wonderful waitress. We ordered a couple of appetizers and entrees. So good! Food came out rather fast and hot. Restaurant and environment was clean and comfortable. We had the Thai grilled pork, egg rolls, crab Rangoon (real crabbing - i think),spicy flat noodle and sweet and sour shrimp. The sauce for the shrimp was light and fresh. Veggies were nicely done. Great place for Thai Food; it's low on ambiance though. At this establishment It's really about the food, which is cooked to order fairly quickly. It is consistently good...one can vary the spiciness and choose their favorite protein additive. The soups are very good as are the curries. The teriyaki is a bit too sweet for me and had a molasses flavor note. Portions are a bit on the large side. The staff is fast and friendly. They allowed us to wait out the storm as long as we needed out of the kindness of their hearts. Not only that, but they served us drinks and food throughout the night when the next best option was sleeping in our cars wondering how much longer it could take to be able to drive... FORGET THE SNOWPOCALYPSE, NOW ONTO THE FOOD... Had lunch here about 2 weeks ago with Jang C, Hannah C, Daniel B, and Trevor M for the "Cobb Curry Lunch UYE" (http://www.yelp.com/events/smyrna-cobb-curry-lunch-uye). It is really not all that convenient to any major highway nor the easiest place to find. Simply based on location alone, it's unlikely I'll be back. I got the Spicy Basil Beef, which comes with white rice and the smallest bowl of soup I have ever seen. For $8.45 pre-tip, it's not a bad price, but I thought the portion was just sliiiightly smaller than most other Thai places. The coconut soup was more watery than creamy, which is good if you're watching your waistline...though it's still completely possible that it's just lacking in flavor and not any lighter on calories. As for the Spicy Basil Beef, which I get 65% of the time at Thai restaurants, I was not impressed. The meat itself was tender but the sauce was overly salty and not at all spicy. On top of that, I had serious trouble locating actual basil leaves...I think I found 3 or 4. I would really like to think that I just ordered poorly, especially based on the other reviews here, but a restaurant that is truly good shouldn't even allow for that possibility. LOVE Curry Curry. I always get the Cashew Nut and add Tofu to it (crispy) and I get a side of sweet and sour sauce to put on there also. The fried tofu appetizer is delicious also- the sauce comes with peanuts too. :) And beer is half off Monday-Friday so that's another plus. Good service, calm atmosphere. Interestingly enough, on their takeout menu it says: "Tell Us What You Want, And We'll Make It!" Kinda curious about putting that to the test, but prolly won't. -------------- Tom Kha w/ (silken) Tofu - A lot of people are complaining that their "coconut soup" is bland and watery. It's not as rich or complex as some places I've been to, but it was flavorful enough. I'd order it again. Tom Yum - Unfortunately, this was just effin' inedible. Way, way *too* salty. After a few spoonfuls, we threw the whole thing out. Red Curry w/ (fried) Tofu - A little heavy on the fish sauce, based on the aroma. Otherwise, pretty standard and tasty. Massaman Curry w/ Chicken - Tastes more like Indian curry than Thai curry, but was still good. Don't think I'd order this again though, cos I'm picky with Massaman curry. This is a great Thai restaurant! They have one of the best basil fried rice dishes (with tofu) in town. Takeout orders are always super fast and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that pretty much every time we order food from there, my wife gets really bad stomach pains. It may be from the spicy food or something else. I never have a problem. I'm also sad to say that their pad thai isn't as good as Thai Diner's version. This place is neary my office so I decided to take a chance and try it. I love love love Top Spice and I didn't think this place had a chance to measure up. And they didn't. I ordered the Green Curry with chicken for the lunch special. Got back to my office and I looked at it. In a big box the few pieces of chicken and veggies looked like they were drowning in sauce. It looked to me like it was a child's portion. But no, it was just their serving sizes. I still did get the box of rice to go along. I don't really care about rice anyway, I wanted the chicken and veggies. For 6.95 (or 7,95, I don't remember) I wanted a decent meal. This wasn't. I don't usually complain about portion size, but this was kind of ridiculous. As for the food itself it wasn't bad. I read reviews before I decided to order so my disappointment is sort of my fault. I cannot understand how 2 different dishes had no flavor? I did say they could make the pad Thai a little spicy when asked, and it was! That's all it was, spicy. Everything was bland. I've had great Thai food, (Thai Heaven)here and bad Thai so I feel that I can give a good review. I have given this place 2 trys. The first time I had Pad Thai, which was mediocre. I sat outside the first time, and it was a great environment. The second time i went, i had Massaman Curry, which was the worst curry i have ever had in my life. It didn't help the the restaurant had an overwhelming smell of cheap cleaning fluid (the person i went with didn't want to sit outside cause it was hot). The Thai iced tea was also not that great. My wife and I have been eating at Curry Curry periodically since we first began dating nearly seven years ago. The food is good, the prices reasonable, and the staff really friendly. My favorite dish is masaman curry with tofu, and I order brown rice (which costs a bit extra) to accompany it. The only thing I've ever ordered there which I didn't care for was their larb. It's near both the Silver Comet trail, and Heritage Park, so if you are at either of those sites, Curry Curry is worth a visit. read more

The sign touting Atlanta's Best Thai hooked us as we drove down the E-W connector, but it must either be really old or as voted by the staff! We all sampled the curries and a few of the soups, and they all seemed to lack something. The hot and sour soup was more like a broth and it had a distinct fishy tatse and was really salty; no one finished it. I had the green curry and while it had a lotof flavor, it was too runny and lacked the silkiness most good curries have.
