One of my favorite Thai spots because the spices come straight from Thailand, it's family-owner, and everything on the menu is AUTHENTIC AF! Seriously everything I've ever had has been so good and so spicy, just how I like my favorite Drunken Noodes :) It's a spicy spaghetti with: - red and green bell peppers - baby corn - onions - egg - tomatoes and I order it 3 HOT (1 below Thai hot) If you can't take spice, get it on 1. If you like a little spice, two is perfect, but I'm not basic so I like to take it up a notch and I'm going to lie, it's SPICY! I am usually in happy tears by the end of my meal. This review is based on take out. Ordering online was very convenient for pickup. It took less than 30 minutes to get the order. Only two dishes were ordered. Stir fry tofu with ginger, which was very good and massaman curry which had more tofu than anything else and was lacking in cashews or carrots. Let's just say I am a regular here. At this point, the staff know me by name and I come here at least twice a week. You cannot beat their food quality, portion size, and price! Especially their lunch specials. You get a good amount of food that tastes amazing all for a great price. My go-tos are the Spicy Basil Leaves stir fry and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice. I usually get them Thai hot, but I am a lover of spice. Do not order your food Thai hot if you cannot handle very hot flavor! Such AMAZING customer service. The team was great. The food was good and the panang curry has a nice kick. My colleagues liked the massaman and pad Thai as well. The mango sticky rice is my favorite in the area. It is the perfect ratio of mango, sauce and rice. Also, I so appreciate the To Go containers they use. Drove past here after shopping at Walmart and decided to stop. Nice little place by Waffle House on EW connector. A pretty pleasant waitress greeted me and took my order. i ordered water and panang curry shrimp with rice. The lunch comes with your choice of soup. I chose the Tom khai which is coconut milk based. I ordered it hot and let me warn you it is hot!! Then out came the panang curry with fresh peppers basil and rice. It was the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. Everything was delicious! This is my favorite restaurant & has quickly become part of my "comfort food" menu. My fiancé and I both love the spicy Basil fried rice. I get the veggie and she gets shrimp, and based on our moods we fluctuate between medium or mild spice level. No matter the combo - this dish is always perfect! I also love the coconut soup. I don't think I've ever had something so delicious!! I get it as it comes -just veggie, no meat- but ask for mild spice to add a little kick. I really wanted something besides a sandwich for lunch that wasn't too too expensive but was tasty at the same time. So why not head back to Curry Curry? It's located in a small strip center near Waffle House with plenty of free parking. It's never very busy to the point where I've had to wait for a seat. They take your order rather quickly and your food starts coming out quickly. I've had to ask for chop sticks both times I've eaten here. I wonder why they just don't have them on the table or bring them out with the fork that's wrapped in a napkin? The first time I came here I had the red curry with chicken and the cup of coconut soup with chicken. This time I had the spicy basil leaves with chicken and the cup of hot and sour soup. The lunch entree comes with a soup. Both times the soups looked very good (with added mushrooms and scallions on both) but had a instant sort of taste to them. Like one of those packets where you tear it open, dump the contents into a cup add hot water to it. Both lunch entrees were very good. This restaurant has become a staple for me. I have become a regular because of their amazing food and excellent service. This is a true family run business and every on the menu is worth a try. Starting with appetizers my regulars include the Thai hot wings, satay chicken (the peanut sauce is amazing), Golden crabs and roti. For entrees my staples are pad kee mao (spicy noodle), pad see-u, panang curry (seriously the best curry I have ever tried) and spicy basil fried rice. Not only are their regular menu items excellent, but I also enjoy their specials from time to time. Crispy catfish with ginger sauce and crab fried rice are very popular and delicious. I always have either a Thai tea or a Thai coffee to go with my meal and for the price, they always give you a lot. I had lunch at Curry Curry Thai yesterday with Jang C, Hannah C, Amaryllia L, and Trevor M for the "Cobb Curry Lunch UYE" (http://www.yelp.com/events/smyrna-cobb-curry-lunch-uye). If it wasn't for the Cobb lunch UYE, I probably would've never eaten here since this restaurant is far from where I live and work. There are two Curry Curry locations: this one in Smyrna and another one in Marietta on Lower Roswell Rd. This location faces the East-West Connector, but you turn into the shopping complex off Highlands Ridge. If you are traveling west on the East-West Connector, you will never see Curry Curry from the road. Just turn into the shopping complex and make your way to the far end of the Waffle House and you'll find the restaurant hidden behind there. I don't think it's the best location. Curry Curry is a small, clean, casual, strip mall-type Thai restaurant. Minimal interior decor and a few tables outside inside a gated concrete patio. Their lunch menu is affordable with many entrees costing only $6.95 each. These entrees include all the standard Thai curry, rice, and noodle dishes. Since I was at "Curry Curry," I decided to try a curry -- green curry with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, red and green peppers, zucchini, and basil leaves. The lunch entrees come with a choice of coconut soup or salad. I like the Thai restaurants that include this automatically because some places charge extra (boo). Curry Curry and Lemon Grass do it right. I thought the portion sizes were small for both the soup and the entree. Of course, these were probably the appropriate portion sizes if you asked a nutritionist. The soup size was very small -- the smallest of any Thai restaurant I've seen. It was nice and sweet, however, and one of the better coconut soups in town. The green curry was also good. The restaurant made it seem like one of the spiciest dishes on the menu (two red pepper symbols next to it), but I didn't think it was spicy at all. The curry had good flavor and was fragrant. I also sampled Jang's pad kee mao, which are stir-fried flat rice noodles (a.k.a. drunken noodles). Pretty good as well. This is a hidden gem for me. Can't believe I waited this long to try them out. I can honestly say I haven't had better Thai custard and sticky rice. They pay so much attention to detail, even the chili paste is homemade. I had roasted duck with red curry, Nam Sod, Woonsen Pad Kee Mao, and Spaghetti Pad Kee Mao. Everything taste just like in my hometown Bangkok. The portion is generous. Service is friendly. They are currently doing just takeout. I always loved the fried Catfish item. Ordered it yesterday and the Catfish was like rubber and appeared to have been sitting around for a while. Hard to cut with a knife. I'd like to give this place 3.5 stars, not because they did anything wrong, but I've had much better in Atlanta. It's pretty hard to get a high score from me in a city that that's saturated with so much good food. Curry Curry Thai was very good, though. The restaurant was quiet, clean, not too busy. The hostess was very polite and very fast. I got a to-go order so I wasn't there for long, but I'd return for a sit-down meal for sure. My fried rice and wings traveled well. It took me about 15 minutes to get home and my food wasn't soggy when I started eating it. They packaged the wings well: there were two slits in the top of the styrofoam so the wings didn't steam, and the Thai sauce came on the side. I enjoyed the fried rice and the wings. Favors were good, the food wasn't oily. The rice had a lot of veggies in it but not so much that I was eating mouthsful. The sauce for the wings was a little spicy but nothing any sane person can't handle. If you absolutely don't like spice stay away, but they weren't that hot to me (no runny nose, for example). The sauce was a good combination of sweet and spice. Great portions. I was really disappointed in my meal yesterday. It started off when I placed the order, went to pick it up and they didn't have my order prepared. Then after replacing my order at their location, my total order came out incorrect. it appeared that in one of my dishes which I ordered with shrimp that in their rush to get my order out the door they took the same order that was ordered with chopped chicken and just added shrimp to it. Needless to say really disappointed considering i order food from them at least once a week. The biggest disappointment was a young lady trying to convince me when I called, that my order indeed was correct I took a picture of the order and you can judge for yourself. We had a great late dinner experience at Curry Curry after a trip from Six Flags. My family is all a fan of Pad See Ewe and had decided we all wanted to order the same. Once the server shared the specials, we decided to take her suggestions and try a couple of different things. We ordered the Lamb in Basil Sauce, Duck in Curry Sauce, and only 1 order of Pad See Ewe. As much as we liked the Pad See Ewe, we would've been disappointed by it if that's all we ordered. The Lamb with the vegetables in the Basil sauce was excellent but the Duck in the Curry sauce was the best dish of the night. The curry was perfection making the name of the restaurant Curry Curry live up to its name. Word of advice- take the servers suggestion on the specials. I had a hankering for Thai food while I was in town and this place had good reviews so I decided to check it out. I was looking for a good pad Thai, but I wanted something spicy so I tried the Pad Kee Mao. It was really good, wasn't quite was I was craving but that did not at all detract from it. It had just enough heat to fulfill my craving and the flavor was great. I would ask for more chicken though, it was hard to find a decent amount for the quantity of noodles I got. Now for dessert. Mango sticky rice is now my favorite thing EVER! I love fresh mango anyway but I never had sweet sticky rice before so decided to try it and I'm thrilled that I did. Best. Dessert. Ever. I've never been to Thailand, but I spent 16 years in Las Vegas, NV that has a huge Thai community. Curry Curry Thai is some of the worst Thai food that I've ever had. There was zero flavor. I ordered the fried catfish with yellow curry. There was not one drop of seasoning on the fish. The yellow curry did not taste like yellow curry should. Restaurants in Las Vegas would reevaluate. I ordered Yellow Curry... a pretty standard Thai dish. The waitress asked if I had ever eaten Yellow Curry before. She said some people are not used to the taste. I was a bit confused, but ensured her that I had eaten Yellow Curry before (dozens of times). There was indeed something off with the flavor. I wouldn't call it "bad", but I also wouldn't order it again. It's very unique. Perhaps they have their own take on the recipe... and that is fine. My issue was that the potatoes and carrots both came out undercooked. The portion size was very small. There was not very much chicken in the dish, despite me asking to pay for extra chicken. Aside from that, the service was curt - not friendly. Don't mistake me, the staff is not rude... but just very cold. I'm sitting in the booth as I write this, and can't get anyone to crack a smile. Truly an authentic Thai restaurant !!! I was so happy to find this spot in Georgia. The manager and staff were so helpful. Pearl made sure my orders came quickly and the food was made to perfection. I miss authentic Thai food and this hit the spot. I especially liked the sum tom. It had just the right amount of limey and savory flavor. I asked for it spicy and it actually was hot enough compared to other restaurants. The papaya was fresh but soaked long enough and mashed with the sauce. The Tom yum was delicious as well! Tried Curry Curry on a night our go-to Thai place was closed. Online ordering was simple and delivery was quick, although various fees added over 20% to the bill (not including the driver's tip). One of our three dishes (chicken stir fry) was good. A second (Panang Curry) wasn't bad, but probably wouldn't order again. the Pad Thai's flavor was just ... off. Weird. We tried to doctor it up, but there was no saving it. At $66 for three entrees, Curry Curry was a fairly pricey experiment that didn't go as well as we'd hoped. Unlikely we'll try it again. read more
