Definitely a Good value. The curry rice was very tasty. I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. This might be my go to now.

The staff are quick and attentive, and were very accommodating with our group. The food was also delicious; I got my go-to yellow chicken curry, and also got to try the spring roll appetizers and a salad, all of which were great. I'd love to come back to try the rest of their extensive menu!

I only knocked the restaurant down by a star because the servers were pretty pushy with wanting us to leave despite the multitude of empty tables around us. Besides that, the food is really delicious. The papaya salad is amazing if you like spice! There was a great kick and acidity to the papaya salad distributed throughout the fresh vegetables in the dish. I highly recommend! The pumpkin fries were also a great choice: crispy fry with soft pumpkin inside, maintaining the overall pumpkin flavor profile. The sauce they provide on the side (sweet and sour plum sauce), cut through the fry but didn't overwhelm the pumpkin itself. For myself, I got the yellow curry with chicken. The curry dishes do not come with rice, so you will have to order that on the side. The curry is not only a generous portion, but FULL of ingredients. They do not skimp on the meat, potatoes, etc. Highly recommend trying Farmhouse Kitchen for some flavorful Thai dishes!

Every bite and sip was delicious. We ordered family style and shared everything. The service was also fantastic, even though we got there late and didn't realize until the food was beginning to come out that it was last call, our server and all the other workers that came by were all so friendly and made us feel welcome. We ate quickly and boxed the rest so they could get home. What we ordered: Tom Kha soup - coconutty, creamy, a lil sour and a lil spice. Delicious. Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. Chicken larb - this was my favorite dish of the night. Heavy basil/herbs, just a little kick from the chilies, full on flavor explosion. I will be thinking of this dish for a long time haha. Beef Pad See Ew - chewy in the most delicious and favor packed way. Love pad see ew and this one was great! Pad cha scallop - Came out sizzling on a cast iron! This dish was fun and the scallops while small, were fresh and had lots of flavor. And finally, for dessert we ordered the black rice durian. It was all three of us' first time trying Durian and we loved it! Creamy and a little funky but the black rice and sauce emphasized its natural sweetness. Thank you to everyone at Saap Ver for adding to my besties birthday happiness! Can't wait to come back.

The inside of the restaurant was quite lively, even though it was pretty early in the evening. The decorations were very colorful, and the atmosphere felt lively. Service was fine, but the food did take awhile to get to us. We ended up ordering crispy pork, duck curry, pad thai, and fried rice (sorry don't remember which fried rice in particular). I think the pad thai and fried rice were a bit light in flavor, but the curry and crispy pork were really yummy! The duck curry kinda took me by surprise because of the lychee haha I wish the portions were bigger, but great taste.

Fried rice: 6/10 This was the only dish I was disappointed in. It was sort of bland, and contained very little spice despite being labeled as spicy. Eggplant stir fry: 8/10 The eggplant and sauce was good. The eggplant soaked up all of the good richness, but the tofu was very hard in the outside. A little difficult to bite into. Pad Thai: 9/10 I really enjoyed this one. The noodles were chewy and the flavor was on point. Good with chicken. Samosas: 8.5/10 Solid. Good flavor but a little overpriced ($11.5 for 3 samosas) Khao soi: 10/10 By far the most impressive dish. I've never experienced a flavor quite like this. Lots of spices but also very rich with noodles and lots of veggies. Pork belly: 9.5/10 Very crispy pork belly. Some of the best pork belly I have ever had. Fatty pork belly goes very well with the lighter vegetables. The service was very good. The workers were very nice. The inside was cool with a modern design. The only thing that was bad (and part of the reason I gave 4 stars and not 5) is the bathroom. Very dark and smelled funny.

Started with the pretty hot wings which had good spice and a unique flavor. Then had laab tod which were very flavorful and tasty meatballs to eat in a lettuce wrap. The garlic oil really added a lot to it offsetting the five spice broth Service was wonderful with friendly and attentive staff. Definitely would eat here again if I am in town.

We had an extremely disappointing, upsetting, and unacceptable experience at Kin Khao in San…read moreFrancisco. We came to the restaurant with our baby. At the entrance, one of the hosts, who I believe was named Victor, was extremely rude about our stroller. We were told that we could not bring the stroller inside, which we were willing to accept. However, instead of politely asking us to unlock it or move it ourselves, he physically blocked my wife while she was holding our baby and then forcefully tried to push the stroller himself. The stroller was locked at the time, and if I had not stepped in quickly to stop him and unlock it, it could have been damaged. His behavior was aggressive, careless, and completely inappropriate, especially toward a family with an infant. He then moved our stroller to a storage area in the back. Later, because the restaurant was extremely loud and our baby started crying, we wanted to get a toy from the stroller to comfort our child. At first, the same host refused and again physically blocked my wife. Only after we repeatedly asked were we finally allowed to retrieve the toy from our own stroller. After we sat down and were preparing to order, our baby was still crying because the noise level inside the restaurant was extremely high. A female server, who I believe was named Katie, made us feel extremely uncomfortable, unwelcome, and singled out. She first appeared to whisper with the host while looking at us, which made us feel judged and disrespected. Then, in front of us, she told my wife to take our crying baby outside. I questioned why we were being targeted when the restaurant itself was already very loud, with many guests speaking loudly around us. She claimed this was the restaurant's "policy," but when I asked to see the policy, she could not provide it. What made the situation even worse was the attitude. Instead of showing basic empathy or professionalism toward a family with a baby, some staff members were dismissive, arrogant, and treated us in a way that made us feel discriminated against, humiliated, and unwelcome as a family with a baby. I have never experienced this kind of service at a restaurant before, especially not at a restaurant with Michelin-level pricing and expectations. To be fair, the Asian server who later took our order was polite and professional. However, by that point, the overall experience had already been ruined. The food itself was only average in my opinion and did not feel worth the nearly $200 we spent for two people. It definitely did not meet the standard I would expect from a Michelin-recognized restaurant. I will not return, and I would strongly caution families with babies or young children to think twice before dining here. Some of the staff's attitude toward families was unacceptable, and our experience made us feel deeply disrespected. Ratings: Food: 2/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 1/5 Overall: 1/5

The interior is well decorated with Thai culture and with the darker tones of the design, it makes the restaurant feel quite fancy. 4.5/5 - Crispy Pork (Moo Krop) Fried Rice - Very savory fried rice dish. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish. Filling portions and did not overcook their noodles. You can taste each component of the dish, which speaks to everything not being under or overcooked. We ordered nuts on the side but you would be quite satisfied ordering this if you like pad thai! 4.5/5 - Pad Gra Prow - Appropriate veggie to beef proportion and very flavorful. Minced well and great to complement with your carb dishes (noodle or rice). We thought the dish was slightly oily but it feels well absorbed when eaten with our pad thai. If you have tried the dish before and would like it, this will be satisfactory!

Appetizers- Shrimp Spring Roll: it was pretty good actually. The stand out for me was the peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious. Overall, 8/10. Entrees: got the crab fried rice to share. The flavor was really good. It didn't have too many of the crab pieces though. I would give it a solid 7/10. Also ordered the green curry with roasted duck, which comes with a side of jasmine rice. The curry was good and the duck was tender. I'd give it a 8/10. I would come back here to try other items on their menu. TBH very reasonable pricing and good value since the portions were generous.
