Excellent service and the food was very good. The atmosphere is very low key. Definitely a place to checkout if you are downtown. Its a steakhouse so expect steakhouse prices.

This was an amazing choice for lunch! The fried green tomatoes had a blue cheese topping that was delicious! I got the scampi which came in an Alfredo white sauce & was very good. The service was great. We went around 11:30 for lunch and it actually got pretty crowded, but not over crowded. A nice lunch ambiance. There is a paid parking lot next to the restaurant. I enjoyed my experience and would return to try another entree.

Another first! I've walked by this place plenty of times over the years but never thought I'd actually make it back inside -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, Kalisha, the bartender, was an absolute sweetheart. Super friendly, attentive, and really made me feel welcome. I ordered the prime rib, and it was perfectly cooked -- tender, flavorful, and honestly didn't need a single drop of sauce. The mashed potatoes were just as impressive. Everything was spot on! If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend it.

Second visit 12 months later and still an amazing g experience! All my previous comments apply but add that the mac and cheese was amazing!!! Also, my experience with the steak au poivre has now been redeeemed by the filet mignon! Tender and cooked perfectly. Staff are so awesome, seated on time and water was always full. I'm come here the same weekend every year and this is a must stop!

First off, the staff were amazing. They have an ok bourbon selection, but the bar staff created the whole experience. The atmosphere was classy but laid back at the same time. My only complaint was the steak i ordered was just mediocre for the cost. I ordered medium rare and it was medium with just ok flavor. The sear was good but the meat overall just wasn't high quality to me. For a restaurant with a name like Cuts, I expected more. However, the bourbon glazed bacon and the peach cheesecake was really good.

Last night in Atlanta called for something unforgettable. We had an outstanding dinner at Cut Steakhouse in downtown Atlanta, the perfect way to wrap up my trip. The highlight? A rich and buttery escargot that melted in my mouth--elegant, flavorful, and absolutely worth savoring. Had to order two because where I live, restaurants don't offer this deliciousness. For entree I had a delicious pasta with clans, shrimp, lobster tail, calamari, I can recall the name but it's in their today's menu. The hubby ordered a deliciously grilled salmon loin with cauliflower puree, he was happy with his selection. For dessert, a deliciously smooth crème brûlée--silky custard with that perfect caramelized crunch on top. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, this dinner is one I won't forget.

I came here for a date, and even though it's been a while, I still remember how much I enjoyed the ambience. It really set the tone for the evening and made it easy to relax and have a good time. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature, and honestly, it's hard to go wrong with a good cut done right. What stood out just as much as the food was the service--attentive without being overbearing. Altogether, it made for a really enjoyable night.

It was a solid 3.5, but the exceptional service that we received from the waiter bumped up my rating. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Parking was available along the side of the building for about $9 an hour. There's a parking garage nearby as well. We had a party of 8 for a birthday celebration. Complimentary bread was served. I ordered a blueberry lemon drop that was decent. For my appetizer, I got a crab cake. It was delicious and had very little filling. For my entree, I had the surf and turf. It came with filet mignon and a fried lobster tail. It also came with a small side of mashed potatoes and spinach. The breading on the lobster tail was a tad bit salty, but I enjoyed everything overall. Our waiter along with the other staff were very welcoming and provided efficient service.

David might've been the best server I've had in a year. He was so on top of every question that we had. As an example, the stake came with a garlic, mashed potato, I'm not a big garlic fan... So David brought out a sample so I would feel comfortable. That's service. With some wine with this bacon maple whiskey bites that were unbelievable. My wife had the steak with those supposed garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. Wine List great service better great meal and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here for an early dinner, staff was friendly and our server was so great!! Everything on the menu looked delicious, I could've sampled from each one lol Drinks were good as well, I had an aperol spritz after eating and it was perfect. Great place to have a wonderful meal.

Dined here this evening and everything was great. Our waiter, Zuri (sp.) was extremely kind, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu and steak cuts. We enjoyed the smoked salmon appetizer and the goat cheese rissoto fritters. The fritters were my personal favorite and melt in your mouth. Had a cowgirl ribeye and the fried lobster tail which was AMAZING. Will def. return if in the area.

    Drinks and food.

What is the dress code for dinner ? Do we have to dress up?

There wasn't really a dress code but I would advise you to dress nicely. No jeans or sneakers, unless they're dressy. It's a nice pricey dinner place so dress accordingly

Do I need to make a reservation?

You can walk in most of the time, especially during lunch service and you are a small group. There is generally always seating in the bar. However for dinner service, especially on the weekends, reservations are strongly recommended

Can you bring a birthday cake?

    Yes

Is it okay to bring a two year old too?

    Yes

The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

Combined with the exceptional service and beautiful ambiance, the experience left a lasting impression and made me want to return for another try. That opportunity came this past Sunday. The bread service was just as amazing as I remembered. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad, especially the freshly grated cheese, which he said was incredibly light and airy. As for the Lobster Risotto, it exceeded my expectations in both flavor and portion size. The risotto itself was somewhat mild on its own, but once I mixed in the herb butter, it became absolutely delicious. The lobster itself was very tender and tasty, I loved it. The hosts were great and they always give us great service but the food had been the lacking the last couple of services where the she crab soup lacked crab, the swordfish over cooked multiple times. This time in particular we ordered the whole lobster and was offered to have it taken out of the shell for us. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. When we got the lobster we got a full tail but one claw and no knuckles. When we addressed with the server, she argued with us that that's how a lobster is and that there could be more meat hidden on the plate. It felt like she thought we were there to just get more food by saying "so what do you want, more meat" but if we had it in the shell we would have received our full portion. The manager on duty tried to make it up to us by comping the lobster but it was more than that. After going back and forth with the server we just wanted the check to leave. The manager on duty insisted to give us the lobster and take it home. The server wasn't very polite and argued with us about the lobster. I wish I remembered the servers name With that said, the amount of money we have spent there over the years, it's unfortunate that that will be our last time going to the Optimist.

Our waiter was incredibly sweet and patient with us, especially since we were a little indecisive and had plenty of questions. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had a really nice atmosphere. I started with the lychee martini, which is easily in my top five lychee martinis I've had. The bread was a little underwhelming, but the butter made up for it. For my entrée, I ordered the wet-aged 16oz ribeye cooked medium, and wow -- it was phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked, juicy, and served sizzling straight from the skillet. I got the green peppercorn sauce on the side, but honestly, the steak didn't even need it. For my side, I chose the Brussels sprouts with the delicious yuzu drizzle. I also sampled the truffle fries, creamed spinach, and lobster mac and cheese -- all were really good, but the creamed spinach completely stole the show. I will say the food took a while to come out, but they absolutely made up for it because everything tasted amazing. We arrived using the valet service, which usually makes dinner much more convenient. Unfortunately, this was probably the weakest part of the experience. The valet attendants weren't very welcoming, seemed a bit disorganized, and there was no one to open the door upon arrival. We also had to wait for our valet ticket, and retrieving our car at the end of the evening took much longer than expected. There's definitely room for improvement in this area. Once inside, check-in with the host was smooth, and we were seated on the outdoor patio with a beautiful view on a perfect summer evening. Our server, Jason, was phenomenal. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and had impeccable timing throughout the meal. He truly elevated the experience and is a great asset to the restaurant. I would absolutely request him again on a future visit. For appetizers, I highly recommend the fried Maine lobster tail--it was perfectly fried, well-seasoned, and delicious. The Kobe meatballs were good but didn't quite stand out enough to rave about. For our entrée, we shared the 24-ounce porterhouse with lobster mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Everything was well prepared, and we had no complaints about the meal. To drink, I ordered two vodka martinis and the guava vodka spritzer. The martinis were exactly what you'd expect, but the guava vodka spritzer stole the show. It was refreshing, beautifully crafted, and the perfect cocktail for a summer evening on the patio. My significant other enjoyed a glass of wine, and the wine selection appeared to offer plenty of options. One thing that stood out was the manager, Brit, making a point to greet several surrounding tables. We appreciated that level of hospitality and were actually looking forward to complimenting Jason's outstanding service. However, despite making eye contact, our table was completely skipped--no greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment. Combined with the disappointing valet experience, it left us feeling overlooked. While the food was excellent and Jason made our evening memorable, the lack of hospitality from both valet and management would make me think twice before choosing Little Alley over the many other great steakhouses in Atlanta. Jason, however, is the reason this visit ended on a positive note.
