I had read reviews that had great reviews of their food. I was looking for a good Italian restaurant. The combo pizza was ok, nothing to write home about. I also ordered minestrone soup and lasagna. After bringing the lasagna and minestrone soup home the next day I ate it. Both were lacking flavor. My wife made minestrone soup at home that was 5 stars, as well as her lasagna. The chef should review recipes and improve on these dishes. I won't be back, when my wife cooks better than I can buy at a restaurant. Me and my friend are staying at the beachcomber motel for the night and decided on here for dinner and didn't regret it! I'm very picky so italian style was already a stretch but we tried the antipasto salad to half order to split the salad are a good portion, we also got the andre pesto pizza and that was AMAZING didn't even need sauce, and we got Linguine olive oil/garlic/parmasean, pasta with chicken and it was all so delicious. My partner and I were in town on a road trip and really craving local pizza. This was one of the only pizza places open and with all the good reviews we had to try. I'm a bit bummed we'll probably never be in the area to try again because this pizza was amazing! Definitely get extra cheese and sauce, we got ours with extra cheese and really wish we had gotten the extra sauce as well. The ingredients tasted super fresh and the pizza was hot and freshly made! Loved the surroundings!! Met a couple there that was so kind. We just happen to be sitting right along side of them. They were to of the nicest two guys. We told them that we were just visiting Fort Bragg and this was our first time to this Pizza place. We loved everything about this place. The food, the company and the service. The food is excellent. When our planned restaurant was closed, we looked on yelp. What a great find! Much of our meals have been seafood so we were looking for something else. You can get seafood here, but their traditional Italian dishes are wonderful. They seated us right away and were quickly served. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. The atmosphere is family friendly from the original benches, checkered table cloths and kitchen you can see into. Their service is always top notch too, the staff tries to anticipate your needs. Today I was craving something with dough, first i considered pizza then I pivoted to a meatball sub. The bread they make here is exquisite hearty and full of flavor.. it can be a meal in itself. The meatballs are large and hearty, I chose to have my sandwich made open faced so I could take half to work for lunch tomorrow. It was very good and I am itching to finish the other half now. The only thing I wish I added was a side of tomato sauce. Their salads are always large but the best part of that is their house Italian dressing. It's in a strip mall and pretty spacious. The food took a long time to get to us. The focaccia was too garlicky and had too much cheese. The sausage in the sausage pasta tasted like it simmered all day; it was dry and bitter but the pasta was good. I got the meatball sandwich and the cheese and the bread were good but the meatball itself was very bland. The people were very nice and the restaurant is festive with a Christmas tree in the corner. In May! And it was fairly loud. The bathrooms were clean and the booth seats could use some cushions. read more

This restaurant is located off the Main Street. Parking right in front. I went tonight ( Tuesday) no wait for me to solo dine. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Minestrone soup and salad combo which comes with two slices of homemade bread. ($15) The salad is large and the ranch is fantastic. Holy moly the bread is good. The minestrone is solid! Loaded with veggies, just the way I like it. They have nonalcoholic beer, which was a plus for me! Beer and wine available as well as a variety of sodas. Place was busy! I now know why! Pizza smelled and looked delicious. Maybe I'll try that next time. I ordered a slice of the New York cheesecake topped with caramel sauce to go. It was just OK. They have local draft beer and some national brands. The food was insanely good. We got the antipasto salad for my wife and I to share and my daughter was also able to enjoy some because the portion was so large! We ordered two 12" pizzas that were much bigger than 12"!!
