Shrimp and Crab Fillet (imitation crab) Pizza
    Mike S.

Shout out to Instagrammer KittyCatEva for turning me on to this place. She posted a teaser story prior to her reel from last week which made me do a little detective work and since it was before her official reel wasn't sure what the best pizza to order would be. We went with the Shrimp and Crab Meat Fillet. This was different than the Fruit Pizza she ordered. The Shrimp and Crab Meat one comes with random vegetables (seemed like previously frozen vegetables) on top of the cheese and tomato sauce pizza. The flavor was somewhat bland and thought it could have used some spicy. The dough was pretty fluffy and light. The entire pie was on the smaller personal size around 9 or 10 inches. The fruit one KittyCatEva tried in her reel sounds interesting, but I don't know if I am too interested to go back after my initial experience. At least this place is somewhat unique inside the New York Food Court so if this is your thing then go for it.

Storefront of DT Restaurant Food Stall

Food stall is located inside New York Food Court (3-4 mins away) from Sky View Mall. D.T. Restaurant has a white storefront on the right side when entering the food hall. Plenty of seating in the communal area. Just grab yourself a table to sit down, although you might've to wipe your table & seats down with a napkin. Restrooms are in the back. Usually no line when you go place an order at the front counter. Staff speaks and understands Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. Staff is patient, helpful, & friendly if you want to ask about the menu. They accept cash and card for forms of payment. You'll get a receipt and a buzzer to let you know that the food is ready. Food takes about 15-20 mins to make as everything starts getting prepared and cooked when it's freshly made to order. If you're eating in, the staff puts the food in a stainless steel dish to keep it hot throughout your meal. Otherwise, takeout orders are stored in sturdy rectangular beige-colored containers to prevent leakage. I like that they've been changing their dish ware for both dine-in & to-go orders. I remembered that back then no matter if you have to go/to stay orders, they used to put everything in flimsy aluminum containers 10 months ago. Glad to see that they've finally decided to change the tableware for good. I see that they've now added a cute logo of 2 cartoon characters holding utensils in their little hands. Anyway, enough about everything else and back to the delicious food. Could hardly finish it imo because I thought I could finish it since it didn't look that much to me at first. Probably about 1-2 person kind of generous portion. Ordered the Creamy Chicken Steak Over Rice Platter. Paid an extra $3 for adding cheese to the dish. This part must've been new, don't remember it 10 months ago. The cheese is really long and stringy when digging my fork into the cheesy part of the surface. Good for a cheese pull pic or video on social media. Since the food is kept in the stainless steel dish, it has remained hot throughout the entire time...even for slower eaters like me. Cheese is crispy around the edges and melty soft in the middle. Fried rice is found underneath plus there're many big strips of tender chicken too. There're 4 types of sauces that customers can choose for their baked cheese rice platter dishes: 1) Black Pepper Sauce 2) Curry Sauce 3) Tomato Sauce 4) White Sauce (Béchamel Sauce) A drink also comes with ordering the Baked Cheese Dishes, so I've chosen the Milk Tea over Lemon Tea as the drink choice. Thought the iced milk tea is pretty refreshing on a humid day. It's basically just sweetened milk tea but sometimes the simplest thing is the best. Food choices can get pricey with the additional add-ons but the portion size make up for it

Curry with Potatoes and Chicken Cheese Baked Rice
    Alvin Z.

Decently tasty with a fantastic price. Ordered the Curry with Potato and Chicken Cheese Baked rice. It was a decent amount of chicken and the curry was quite good. The potatoes were unfortunately really bad though, kind of tasted like it was undercooked. Thankfully, it was really cheesy so there was a lot of cheese flavor. For $8 though, can't really complain! Service was pretty quick despite lots of online orders. Note that you eat in a food court though so it has a lively ambiance!

In case you're wondering what happened to Molly Tea:…read more Here's the Real Tea (per Google): The "Molly Tea scandal" is an international franchise dispute involving the Shenzhen-based parent company of the trendy Chinese tea chain and its US franchise operators. A court injunction barred the US operators from using the brand's trademarks, forcing a viral rebrand to "? Tea" in New York. Headquarters' Allegations: According to court documents, the corporate office revoked the operators' trademark rights after claiming: - Unauthorized Expansions: The US operator opened a Los Angeles location without prior corporate approval. - Unapproved Ingredients: The franchise was sourcing ingredients independently, violating strict corporate quality and recipe standards. - Hiding Profits: Headquarters accused the operators of voiding their contract by allegedly hiding store revenues and bypassing royalty payments. The Franchisee's Perspective: The US operators disputed the claims. Before the courts stepped in, franchisees alleged that corporate HQ had attempted to aggressively renegotiate the ownership equity, attempting to slash the operator's share from 80% to 30% after the US locations proved highly lucrative. Current Status & Rebranding: Due to the legal injunction, the affected stores were forced to scrub the name "Molly Tea" from their storefronts, uniforms, and delivery apps. The operator complied by covering up the logos and using hand-drawn question marks on cups, quickly earning the nickname "? Tea" among fans.
