IM SORRY but they've done their Kaprow better than Thailand i ate ALL OF IT in 10 minutes like a crazy person at the bar. Very attentive staff as well. If you're walking around Bryant park shopping and at the NY library and are craving Thai food come here. Wish I could have tried the papaya salad! The ambiance is sexy too. A full bar with dimmed yellow lights feels more luxury than I was expecting

My family and I had a last minute lunch here as they were staying close by. I was REALLY impressed! Their food is really good...like EVERYTHING. This place gets extremely crowded for lunch so make sure you give yourself time. The service was great and food came out pretty quickly. They have two floors so the location is very spacious considering where its located.

Absolutely incredible! Such creative and delicious food! There are limited vegetarian options since the noodles contain fish sauce, but the curry is fantastic! One even has potatoes, which makes it so unique and tasty. They also have tons of cocktails -- my partner said it was the best cocktail he's ever had. Cute ambiance and fast service. Definitely understand the hype.

I recently visited Dagg Thai and overall had a solid experience, though with a few mixed notes. We made a reservation in advance, which I would definitely recommend since the restaurant stays quite busy. There is a 90 minute dining limit. The food itself was generally good. Portions run on the smaller side, so we actually ended up ordering an extra main to feel fully satisfied. Almost every dish on the menu is marked with a spicy symbol, but honestly the heat level was very manageable, so don't feel intimidated if you're sensitive to spice. The duck unfortunately fell a bit short for me as it tasted somewhat dry and lacked the richness I was hoping for. On the other hand, the fried pork belly noodle and the pad see ew were definite highlights. Both dishes were flavorful, well balanced, and easily the stars of the meal. Ambience is lively and energetic, which adds to the fun atmosphere. Overall, a good spot for flavorful Thai food, especially if you know what to order and come prepared for smaller portions.

Really cute restaurant. I went with 11 people on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate all of us. I had the pad see ew and it was delicious. I tried the scallop appetizer as well and it was really good.

I tried Dagg Thai recently using a doordash credit and promo. It was close to where I worked and I had this spot bookmarked. I ordered the lunch special, which came with Chicken Pas See Eiw and Dumplings on the side. The portion was solid for a lunch deal, and the main entrees was alright. My only wish was that they included some hot sauce or chili sauce on the side. Something to give it a little bit of a kick. The dumplings were a nice bonus and the sauce they gave for it. I did step inside to pick up my takeout order, and the place was pretty busy, which is usually a good sign.

Really wonderful service and ambiance. Everyone was so friendly. My date and I were seated promptly at the bar when we walked in. The food and drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be returning soon to this lovely restaurant.

Amazing food but it was on the pricey side. We ordered the pad Thai, crab rolls, crispy papaya salad, and one other noodle dish The pad Thai was good and there was plenty of shrimp The crispy papaya salad was unexpected. Everything was deep fried, like a fritter covered in sauce. Pretty delicious, not as a big fan of raw beans that was topped with. The crab spring rolls were good as well. Super deep fried and crispy. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for something to eat. However the items were up to par of the cost of midtown.

My favorite Thai restaurant in NYC closed late last year and I've been devastated since. But I found this one and I'm in Awwwww! The food was incredibly amazing. Wow so good. The drinks! The appetizers just everything was top tier. I little pricey but of course because of the area. Love it. 10/10 recommend must try!!

Dagg Thai is AMAZING. The service I received from Beau & Thomas was unmatched. Everyone is so nice. The food is great as well. We ordered coconut shrimp, fried tofu, spring rolls, and basil fried rice. Everything is easily 10/10. And came out quickly! Would recommend and return.

Really glad we decided to check out Dagg Thai with a group of friends. The food was excellent and the atmosphere made it even better. It does get pretty busy around dinner time, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The scallop bite was a standout. Do not skip the sauce because it really pulls the whole dish together. The herbs add a nice freshness and make every bite feel balanced and fun. The crispy papaya salad is another must order. It is different from the usual version, but that is exactly why it works so well. Overall, Dagg Thai is a great spot with solid flavors and a lively vibe. If you are in the neighborhood, it is absolutely worth a visit.

I've walked in twice for dinner and enjoyed both visits. The atmosphere here is pleasant (two stories, huge bar, not too crowded) and the service is attentive. My favorite dishes so far are the the scallop bite and kang pu. The scallops come in these leaves that you DIY wrap. Sort of messy but so good, a mix of spicy sweet savory. The kang pu is crab meat wrapped in leaves, swimming in curry with noodles on the side for dipping. The crab meat is tender and the curry is flavorful. The plating is also thoughtful - like the sticky rice we got for the E-Ped came wrapped up to preserve the warmth/moisture. For drinks I've tried the Bee Nice and Mr. Tamarind Man. Both are good options if you like sweet and not too spirit forward. The tamarind sorbet for dessert is light and I really enjoyed it, as someone who doesn't have tamarind often. Prices are mid-high range which a good amount of the well known Thai restaurants seem to hit at. I recommend this for the next time you're in midtown looking for good food and ambience.

I definitely would say make a reservation if possible, if not you may have a little wait. We came on a Wednesday nite with reservations and it was crowed. Once our full party arrived we were immediately seated. The place is a good size with table and bar seating. The drinks were very tasty but for the price I want more alcohol! All the food was really good, my first scallop experience and it was so good! the chicken wings were fried perfectly and was dusted with a spiced seasoning blend which I liked. I had the beef salad for dinner it was good, except I think most the the beef piece were to fatty...like that hard fat that can not be chewed by human teeth...lol the flavor was there tho it also did not have enough "salad". For dessert we had the tamarind sorbet that was soo delish and refreshing. Overall I do recommend A+

We were greeted by very friendly staff members who, despite our early arrival, worked hard to get us seated as quickly as possible. The space's vibe is exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Times Square area -- dimly lit, but everything was still visible, not too much noise while extremely busy, and very cozy atmosphere made super pleasant from such attentive, kind staff members. I was especially impressed by our server, Leena, who checked in with us regularly, gave excellent recommendations, and was clearly concerned about giving us an amazing experience. My wife and I ordered one of the seasonal offerings--a sweet and savory fruit salad--that was the perfect start to our meal. I ordered the massaman, and it was easily the best massaman curry I've ever had in the United States. Perfect spice level, the chicken fell right off the bone (even my wife, a vegetarian, commented on how clean the bones looked after I removed the meat), and the mixture of textures and flavors with the lotus seeds and onions really created the perfect dish. I am craving it just sitting here and writing this review! Prices? Honestly, I couldn't imagine a fairer deal given the quality of the food and service we received. I was utterly blown away. I cannot recommend Mitr Thai enough! I can't wait to return next time I'm in the city!

My friend and I were heading somewhere else for dinner, but our original spot was closed for a private event. We decided to pivot and come here instead, and it worked out very much in our favor! I actually just got back from a trip to Thailand, so I went in with high hopes but a curious mind about how the authenticity and flavors would compare. While there were naturally a few little differences in taste here and there compared to being on the ground in Thailand, it didn't dim the deliciousness whatsoever. The food here is absolutely stellar. We decided to sit at the bar, and both bartenders who looked after us were incredibly friendly, helpful, and super clear when explaining the specials. I asked one of them for their favorite recommendations, and it did not disappoint. Here is what we ordered: Pineapple Fried Rice ($21): We ordered it without adding any protein, and it was packed with flavor. Highly recommend. Pad Thai ($24): We added beef to this one, but honestly, the noodles were so incredibly flavorful on their own that it didn't even need the additive! Thong Pan Sai Gai ($17): These looked almost like little tacos but were uniquely delicious. Papaya Salad ($16) & Satay Spring Rolls ($16): Perfect, fresh starters to kick off the meal. Mango Sticky Rice ($17): A must try for dessert. They use purple rice for this, and it was so yummy. For drinks, my friend ordered a Lycheetini ($19) and loved it. I had the Tangmo, Tangmo, Tangmo ($20) which was nice and refreshing. Even though our meal was a mix of great apps and sides, it was incredibly filling. We actually walked out with leftovers.
