I recommend Dagg to anyone who loves authentic delicious Thai food and delicious cocktails and mocktails. Perfect for a date night or night out with your friends. The servers are always super friendly and happy to see you. they are always so welcoming and seat you very quickly. Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in NYC.

Came here on a tuesday at 12:15 PM with a reservation for 7 for a team lunch. The ambiance felt pretty casual, and the waiters were very quick to take our orders, bring our food, and fill our waters. I ordered the crispy branzino. It had good texture, but was a bit too oily and heavy for my liking. I did like the flavors with the dried herbs and sauce, but I would have liked a bit more spice and freshness. I would have ordered the steamed branzino, but they said it would take 15-20 minutes to cook.

Came here for a quick dinner with an out towner who wanted Thai cuisine. It was a Monday night and I quickly made the reservation via OpenTable - pretty seamless. I was surprised to find the place packed on a Monday night. We were there circa 7:15pm and it was about 85% full. My friend and I were seated upstairs - a-bit squishy but we made do with the space. Ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. The crab roll was very nice as was the green curry with chicken. The pad kee mao was also nice, a tad spicy but good.

Really solid. The green curry was spicy and aromatic, with a somewhat uncommon selection of vegetables. The watercress and tofu was light, but savory and substantial enough with the addition of fried tofu. Both of these came with a portion of white rice. These two plus the pork belly noodles came to just over $70 before tax and tip.

Visited again yesterday and really loved the food. I was not disappointed. I'm traveling all the way from NJ just to find authentic Thai food. I had the impressive drink and the same main dish. Ambiance is good. A bit loud because people talk but it's a nice ambiance

Dagg Thai had great flavors, and the drinks were excellent! The portions were a bit on the smaller side for the price, but the food was fresh and tasty. Overall, a good spot if you're looking for Thai food and cocktails.

IM SORRY but they've done their Kaprow better than Thailand i ate ALL OF IT in 10 minutes like a crazy person at the bar. Very attentive staff as well. If you're walking around Bryant park shopping and at the NY library and are craving Thai food come here. Wish I could have tried the papaya salad! The ambiance is sexy too. A full bar with dimmed yellow lights feels more luxury than I was expecting

Stumbled on Dagg after a long day of exploring the city and craving something other than pizza or Italian. The place is very busy so I knew it was good. We tried scallop appetizer and veggie rolls. Both excellent. For main dishes we shared veggie fried rice, curry, and pad Thai. Everything was very good. Portions on small side but was enough. Server friendly and attentive. Only negatives- it's very busy and loud, and water cups are very small. They did do a good job refilling them through out the meal.

This place was so delicious! We got the dagg haeng noodle, scallop bite, and the crab roll. The crab roll was so unbelievably good! I was in love after my first bite. The sauce went really well with it. The servers were really attentive and made sure our water glasses were full. The interior is super modern, although a bit dim. One thing to note: this restaurant waits until your full party is here before seating you.

Celebrated another mini college reunion with dinner in this Thai restaurant located in the Bryant Park area. This is one of my friend's go-to restaurant. My other friend made the reservation and when we arrived the place was packed! Ambiance was small but thankfully there are 2 floors of dining. When we were finally seated, we started off with the following drinks: I ordered the Light(chee) Me Up cocktail, which was refreshing and a bit strong. My friend ordered the Mr. Tamarind Man cocktail, she enjoyed it. My other ordered the Impressive cocktail, because gin is the go-to liquor. Last my other friend went safe and ordered the Thai Ice Coffee. After reading the Yelp reviews of this place, I went with the consensus of what the reviewers enjoyed and recommended to order. Therefore, I ordered the gluten-free Scallop Bite (Scallop, dried shrimp, betel leaf, shallot, lime, roasted coconut, ginger, peanut, chili, caramelized coconut sauce), which is their appetizer meant to share, but ended up making it a meal. In addition, I ordered their Crispy Papaya Salad (Crispy papaya, carrot, tomato, corn, string bean, cashew nut). This textures of this salad reminded me of the the crispy water spinach salad I would normally get at Ayada. I agree with the Yelp consensus who dined here that both dishes are ordering! Meanwhile, my friends ordered Veggie Rolls (Glass noodle, taro, cabbage, carrot, plum sauce) and individual orders of Chicken Kee Mao Thai Spicy and Chicken Kaprow Thai Spicy, which they enjoyed. To end the night we ordered the Caramel Delight and Taro Puff for desserts, which hit the spot. Personally I enjoyed the Taro Puff a bit more than the Caramel Delight. I'd like to return here to try more of their signature dishes.

My family and I had a last minute lunch here as they were staying close by. I was REALLY impressed! Their food is really good...like EVERYTHING. This place gets extremely crowded for lunch so make sure you give yourself time. The service was great and food came out pretty quickly. They have two floors so the location is very spacious considering where its located.

I recently visited Dagg Thai and overall had a solid experience, though with a few mixed notes. We made a reservation in advance, which I would definitely recommend since the restaurant stays quite busy. There is a 90 minute dining limit. The food itself was generally good. Portions run on the smaller side, so we actually ended up ordering an extra main to feel fully satisfied. Almost every dish on the menu is marked with a spicy symbol, but honestly the heat level was very manageable, so don't feel intimidated if you're sensitive to spice. The duck unfortunately fell a bit short for me as it tasted somewhat dry and lacked the richness I was hoping for. On the other hand, the fried pork belly noodle and the pad see ew were definite highlights. Both dishes were flavorful, well balanced, and easily the stars of the meal. Ambience is lively and energetic, which adds to the fun atmosphere. Overall, a good spot for flavorful Thai food, especially if you know what to order and come prepared for smaller portions.

Absolutely incredible! Such creative and delicious food! There are limited vegetarian options since the noodles contain fish sauce, but the curry is fantastic! One even has potatoes, which makes it so unique and tasty. They also have tons of cocktails -- my partner said it was the best cocktail he's ever had. Cute ambiance and fast service. Definitely understand the hype.

For me it all started with their Shrimp Croquettes that were fried to perfection and packed with flavor, then it was the Crispy Pork Belly, and for a second, I had to ask myself, am I in the Dominican Republic?! The crunch, seasoning, and flavor in every bite let me know immediately that they understood the crispy pork belly assignment! Let's not forget the cocktails! Each drink paired beautifully with the appetizers and dishes throughout our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the entrées. Their menu ranges from specialty seafood dishes to authentic, modern Thai cuisine. As a seafood lover, I especially appreciated the generous amount of Lump Crab meat in the Southern Crab Curry. The flavor was rich, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. But the unexpected STAR of the night was the #TaroCustard!
