I would have preferred a little less ginger but really enjoyed this dish overall. Larb wings: Crispy and juicy wings with tender meat. I appreciate them giving us wet wipes to clean our hands. Crispy papaya salad: Think papaya salad, but they battered and fried the papaya. I really enjoyed the flavors and despite being fried, the salad didn't taste oily at all. Entrees: Pla Nueng Manow: The steamed fish was tender, however, I feel like the fish was small for the price. I've had better steamed fish at other Thai restaurants. Nuer Yang: The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and I liked the sauce and sticky rice that came with it. Again, I felt like the amount of steak given was little compared to the price point. There were maybe about 6 slices of thinly cut steak. Dagg Haeng Noodle: The crispy pork belly had perfectly crispy skin and the meat was tender and perfectly cooked. The noodles were very saucy but also flavorful. Morning glory: Loved the flavors and the crunch of the veggies. Just wish the portion size was a little bit bigger for $24. Dessert: Mango sticky rice: They give two slices of sweet mango on top of coconut sticky rice. Really delicious! Overall, I really enjoyed the flavors of every dish. We started dinner at 5:30 PM, and by 6:30 PM the staff informed us that we only had 15 minutes left. They then handed us the dessert menu. I mentioned that most restaurants in New York typically allow around 90 minutes for dining, but they explained that they were fully booked and that we were only given 1 hour and 15 minutes for the entire dinner service. That meant we had just 15 minutes left to order and finish dessert. This was a very unpleasant experience. At the very least, they should have informed us about the time limit before we started dining. read more

I came here for dinner on a Friday night with a group of four. We arrived before the other two people in our party, but they still sat us right away. The restaurant has two floors with tasteful wooden rafters and decor. The first floor also has bar seating. They have a large menu, with lots of authentic dishes, as well as a classic menu with all the familiar staples you'd get when ordering Thai takeout. To start, we shared the fried taro. These were deliciously crispy and savory, and served with a sweet sauce. The shredded taro created satisfying texture in each bite. We also tried the chive dumplings. The veggies in these were a bit stringy. They were still tasty, but not as flavorful as the taro. For my main, I got the panang curry with tofu. I asked for medium spice level and it was perfect, but I also probably would've enjoyed the next level up. The curry was rich and paired nicely with the accompanying white rice. The tofu was cut into large, thin pieces and was tender and buttery. I had enough for leftovers, but it was hard to keep from eating the whole dish! Our friends got the crispy papaya salad and tom yum soup. Both were large portion sizes and they enjoyed the dishes. To drink, I had the kiwi mocktail. A good indicator of a solid Thai spot is the Thai Iced Tea and theirs is excellent. You must try the Crispy Papaya Salad. I never had a papaya salad like this and it's spicy, but tolerable.The fish was lightly fried but still moist and tasty. It pairs well with the chili lime sauce and white rice! The crab fried rice had so much crab meat and cucumber and lots of umami flavor. I kept going in for more bites! Lastly, the dessert was so cool. It's soft but toasty bread on a stick with three unique dips made of condensed milk. I loved the pandan flavored one. It's also quite big inside. The food was actually fine. My frustration was their refusal to help accommodate our party of four, three of whom needed chairs with back support. I'd taken my son's grandparents to dinner to celebrate his grandfather's 75th birthday. The "birthday boy" wanted to sit upstairs, which was a little more quiet than downstairs which was blasting 70s hits. Our reservation was at 5:00pm. We were the ONLY people upstairs and yet they sat us at the absolute worst table up there. There were several booths and several tables with regular chairs with backs but they sat us at one of the tables that was against the stairs with only benches on either side. This meant two of us could lean against the railing and two of us had to perch on the bench. When we asked if we could sit in a booth they said no. When we asked if they would swap out the bench for two chairs, they again refused. Had I not been with two elderly parents and my hangry 8 yr old, I would have walked out. But they chose this spot and it already took a lot of convincing to get my son to come out. All that to say, I don't recommend this restaurant due to the poor customer service. There are TONS of Thai restaurants in Manhattan with great food and far better customer service. read more

We were seated upstairs in a booth which was cozy and easier to hear each other. I tried the Buay USA mocktail which was savory and delicious. I'd go back to try another, maybe the watermelon flavored one because it has foam - a nice touch for a real cocktail feel. The food - the veggie spring roll, nothing mind blowing but it was solid. Pad Kee Mao - the noodle texture was really nice, it had a fresh bouncy texture but the flavor could have been a bit better. The Panang curry - I really did not like their take on this. The lemongrass flavor overwhelmed the whole dish and gave a soap like taste. I would go back to try some of the fish and shrimp dishes as I was sharing with vegetarians in my group. If you're a vegetarian that avoids fish and oyster sauce this isn't the place for you. They can't make those of their dishes without it . I also think they had some interesting desserts listed I would go back to try.
