Daily Eats brings classic diner vibes with comfort food that is always fresh and consistently delicious. It's such a unique concept on Howard and has become a staple for a reason. Weekend waits can get a little long, especially when college is in session, but the food is always worth it. If you're craving pancakes at noon or a burger at breakfast, this is your spot.

Super cute breakfast place! Had the captain cluck bowl and glad I got the honey on the side because it was a little spicy. The only bummer here is they do not have real milk or half and half for the coffee, just the individual non refrigerated single coffee mates sitting on the table. Our server was nice and had a good breakfast

This is the last post of our foodie adventure in Tampa, Fl. For sure a must return though! This unassuming diner serves some of the tastiest breakfast foods AND has gluten free options as well that actually taste great! So let's start with the coffee.. delicious and strong. Benedict's have a perfectly poached egg with your option of styles and the fried chicken breast sandwich was so juicy and tasty.. it was buttermilk battered and good to the very last bite.. and make no mistake.. I devoured it! Beautiful theme, great wait staff and an all around great experience in SOHO. You are beautiful

This is a cute SOHO spot right in the center of it all. The food was very good however slightly too salty for me, I think most people would think it's fine, I personally like less salty. The tater tots were perfectly crispy and I got the fresh orange juice and that was fantastic. The servers are great and very attentive despite how busy the location is. When we got here for a party of 6 we were told it would be a 35 minute wait but it ended up being closer to 10 minutes. I would definitely come again if I was in the area and looking for breakfast!

It's finer kitsch with the matching smells. And COLD. bring a jacket. The wait for Sunday breakfast was 45-1hour We sat. Bobby was cool and handling the section like. A champ. Food was OK nothing to write home about. If the star is a line, I'll be back, but if they don't probably not.

This gluten-free lady's heart and tummy are full! Those pancakes are fabulous...seriously. The cinnamon and vanilla flavors are perfect. Our server, Sarah, was spot on with her recommendation of the iced chai. They have a special blend that includes cold brew. Quite delicious. Oh, and the home fries taste terrific, too. This place has a dedicated fryer for gluten free! I wished I lived nearby because I'd be a regular! The diner atmosphere is cute and they even have outdoor seating.

I stopped here on my way home from Orlando for brunch. They are located down town Tampa, so parking is a little scarce. It was busy, and that's always a great sign, and I was told it would be a 25min wait, which turned into 5min instead of 25. I had the Captain Crunch French toast slices that came with a bowl of fruit. They were very tasty, but was a little confused that the Captain Crunch flavor didn't pop out as much, but it gave great texture. I will come back again, as they have so many things to choose from on the menu.

Best local spot in Tampa for fast, delicious casual breakfast in a cute homey joint. Service was extremely friendly -- shoutout to our server Morgan for her impeccable service and kindness. She let us know our iced coffees had free refills and gave us two more coffees in to-go cups before leaving! The GOAT omelette with goat cheese and spinach was perfect - wouldn't change a thing. My dad was super impressed by their pancakes. Shoutout to their eggs Benedict with the smashed avocado, which my mom said is the best Benedict she's ever had! Can't believe we haven't been sooner, but can safely say we'll definitely be back soon

Yes:-) I absolutely recommend Daily Eats:-)) I've dined here since 2014(YOU MAY SAY WOW!!!:-) That's A LONG TIME! I agree. Some things have changed since the Original Owner Opened Up This Diner/Very Good Eats. Still The Restrooms could use a make over and "Better Lighting" Cleaner Would Be A much Welcomed And Appreciated Upgrade By All. When it's pouring rain((Not Un-usual in Tampa) Have A Bubble Umbrella Invest In A as pair of Rain Boots. Parking Lot/s flood above your ankles. As for the Service? On busy weekends. Give these guys and girls a chance to get to you. Like I said, gets very busy. Look For Their Specials You'll Love Them. They offer GFree Items. Including Hamburger Buns for your juicy burger. Stop by For Memorable Delicious Food And Ambiance.

Food? Amazing. Service? More like "Daily Waits." Worth it for the eats, just don't expect refills unless you packed a flare gun for attention.

Do not sleep on this place!!! It looks so unassuming from the outside but wow it is so good. I never find gluten free chicken tenders anywhere so I was so excited they had them here, and they did not disappoint! My food and my family's food was absolutely delicious, and our server was so sweet. I am so happy with my experience here.

Really cozy breakfast place with neat food options, especially if you have a gluten allergy (the pancakes and friegluten free). Our server, Sarah was very helpful navigating us through the menu. Great food and atmosphere.

I'll start by saying the two people with me had Greek dishes, Chicken Naousa and Chicken Souvlaki, and both had positive things to say. If we return someday I will go Greek, as I found my burger a little dry and kind of a challenge. My choice was their Dallas BBQ Cheeseburger with bacon, which I asked to be cooked medium. My plate was full with the burger itself, fries, and separately the usual burger toppings. With the onion rings and the bacon strips, I decided to not try to assemble with the toppings but just include those as I ate. The slowness of the meal was noticeable, I started with a side Caesar Salad, which took about 20 minutes to arrive.

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. This place reminded me of a traditional diner, the kind that focuses on comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a basic breakfast, and everything came out quickly. The service was friendly and efficient. When I arrived, the waitress was outside taking a moment, but she was back inside and attentive by the time I was seated, which didn't impact the experience at all. The place wasn't packed, but it had a steady flow of customers. You could see the cooks working in the kitchen, and they seemed pleasant and engaged. What stood out most to me was the overall attitude of the staff. The bus Boy/Man even stopped to chat for a moment and was really friendly, which added to the welcoming and warm feel. Throughout my visit, the team consistently checked in, refilled my coffee without being asked, and treated everyone with the same level of kindness--whether it was couples, older guests, or someone like me just passing through. That kind of genuine, across-the-board hospitality is something I pay attention to, and they really delivered. This isn't a fancy spot, and it's not trying to be. If you're looking for upscale dining, you'll want to go elsewhere. But if you want a true diner experience with solid food and genuinely kind service, this place hits the mark. Even though this is a late review, I felt they deserved the recognition. I may never be back in the area, but I'd absolutely recommend stopping in if you are. It was exactly what I was looking for and if even one person gives them a try because of this, it's well deserved....side note I found the place by doing a simple search for simple diner.
